Introduction.
Preschool childhood is a very important period in the life of children. It is at this age that every child is a little explorer, discovering the unfamiliar and amazing world around him with joy and surprise.
A child lives in a huge real world, in which much is still inaccessible to him due to his age characteristics. We, adults, are intermediaries between the world around us - the world of nature, people, things, art and the tender, fragile, emotional and responsive to everything new, amazing, bright soul of a child. Nurturing a child's feelings begins with beauty. The need for beauty and kindness appears in a baby from the first days of his life: he reaches out to a beautiful toy, freezes when he hears the sounds of music; Having matured a little, he looks at the bright illustrations in the book, trying to depict on paper the beauty that only he understands.
Modern children are actively exploring the virtual world. At the same time, they experience a decrease in interest in their surroundings; in children’s minds, the lines between good and evil, beautiful and ugly are blurred.
Undoubtedly, the foundations of a developing personality are laid in childhood, and there is a danger that society in the future may receive a soulless generation, indifferent to painting, not understanding music and poetry. Therefore, today aesthetic development comes to the fore; there is a need to revise its ideas, search for new approaches that allow building the process aesthetic development in accordance with the interests of the child, his needs and abilities.
Children from the very early age actively trying to reflect their impressions and feelings about the world around them in their visual arts. There are many techniques with which you can create original works without having artistic skills. Drawing is of great importance in shaping a child’s personality. The connection between drawing and a child’s thinking is especially important. At the same time, visual, motor, and muscular-tactile analyzers are included in the work. In addition, drawing develops children's intellectual abilities, memory, attention, fine motor skills, teaches the child to think, analyze, compare, compose and imagine. But most importantly, by creating an image, the child acquires various knowledge; his ideas about the environment are clarified and deepened; in the process of work, he begins to comprehend the qualities of objects, remember their characteristic features and details, master visual skills and abilities, learn consciously, and use them.
However, standard sets of visual materials and methods of transmitting information are not enough for modern children, since the level of mental development and potential of the new generation has become much higher.
Drawing in an unconventional way is a fun, fascinating activity that surprises and delights children. Kids are attracted to the unconventional technique because they can draw with whatever they want and however they want, and these methods also allow children to quickly achieve desired result, which is still difficult to do using conventional drawing techniques, especially for children 3-4 years old. Here, there are no limits to the development of creativity: blotography, drawing with fingers and palms, poking with a hard semi-dry brush, rolling paper, imprinting with crumpled paper, wax crayons + watercolor, candle + watercolor, dotted drawing, spraying, leaf prints, stamps from foam rubber and vegetables, thread printing , monotype, drawing on wet paper, collage, printing with corks, drawing with cotton swabs, sand drawing, stencil printing, plasticineography, paint blowing.
Each of these techniques is a kind of game where children feel more relaxed, more confident, where they are given the opportunity to express their own fantasies and self-expression in general. Unconventional painting techniques demonstrate unusual combinations of materials and tools. The advantage of such techniques is the versatility of their use. A variety of techniques contributes to the expressiveness of images in children's drawings. Mastering image techniques brings joy to children if the activity is structured taking into account the specific age of the children. The use of non-traditional techniques also makes it possible to use a collective form of creativity. It brings children together, develops communication skills, and creates a special emotional atmosphere.
Relevance.
The problem of developing children's creativity is currently one of the most pressing in both theoretical and practical terms: after all, we are talking about the most important condition for the formation of individual identity.
The choice of non-traditional drawing techniques as one of the means of developing children's creativity is not accidental.
In the course of observations of the visual activities of children in kindergarten, we can conclude that the decrease in interest and motivation for creativity has several reasons:
1. Children lack the necessary knowledge, skills and technical skills in drawing and the child’s limitations in color, shape, line;2. Templates and monotony in the image and design of the drawing;3. Insufficient knowledge about the surrounding world; 4. Imposing certain cliches and stereotypes on the child (the grass is only green, the house is only of this shape).
Project implementation.
Stage I preparatory - February 2017.
1. Study and analysis of scientific research, methodological literature, Internet resources on this issue; selection of software and methodological support for this problem; visual demonstration, handout material.2. Development of project content: “Unconventional methods of drawing for children second junior group".3. Planning upcoming activities aimed at implementing the project.4. Sociological survey of parents.
Stage II main - March, 1st week of April.
1. Formation of skills in artistic activity of children of primary school age, organization of joint activities of the teacher and children.
Non-traditional artistic techniques
Finger painting: the child dips his finger into the finger paint and puts dots and spots on the paper. Each finger is painted with a different color. After work, wipe your fingers with a napkin, then the paint is washed off. Palm drawing: The child dips his palm in finger paint or paints it with a brush and makes an imprint on paper. They draw with both the right and left hands, painted in different colors. After work, wipe your hands with a napkin, then the paint is washed off. Poking with a hard semi-dry brush: the child dips the brush into the gouache and hits the paper with it, holding it vertically. When working, the brush does not fall into the water. Thus, the entire sheet, outline or template is filled. The result is an imitation of the texture of a fluffy or prickly surface. Imprint with potato stamps: the child presses the signet onto a stamp pad with paint and makes an impression on the paper. To obtain a different color, both the bowl and the signet are changed. Rolling paper: The child crumples the paper in his hands until it becomes soft. Then he rolls it into a ball. Its sizes can be different: from small (berry) to large (cloud, snowman ball). After this, the paper ball is dipped in glue and glued to the base.

Conclusion:
Our project “Non-traditional methods of drawing for kids” is aimed at developing creative imagination in children of primary preschool age through the use of non-traditional drawing techniques.
Visual activities is perhaps the most interesting view activities of preschool children. It allows the child to express his impressions of the world around him in his drawings. At the same time, visual activity is invaluable for the comprehensive development of children, the disclosure and enrichment of their creative abilities. An unconventional approach to creating images gives impetus to the development of children's intellect, encourages the child's creative activity, and teaches him to think outside the box. Important condition child development is an original task, the very formulation of which becomes an incentive for creativity.
Children are very attracted to non-traditional materials; the more diverse the art materials, the more interesting it is to work with them. Therefore, introducing preschoolers to non-traditional drawing techniques allows not only to increase children’s interest in visual arts, but also contributes to the development of creative imagination.
Currently, the children are proficient in unconventional techniques: finger painting, palm painting, foam rubber stamps, and vegetable stamps.

Consultation for parents
"Unconventional drawing techniques."
We offer you several options for non-traditional drawing techniques that you can use at home with your child.
Drawing with soap bubbles.
Drawing method: Option No. 1. In several containers with liquid soap(1 teaspoon of water to 1 tablespoon of soap) add different paints (5 tablespoons per serving), blow into the tube until soap bubbles and dip a piece of paper on them. The result will be an airy-fairy-tale image.
Option No. 2. The day before the proposed lesson, you need to mix 80 ml. tempera paint and 80 ml. dishwashing detergent in a 1-liter tray, stirring, add water to the edges of the tray. In this way, dilute 2-3 paints of different colors. Leave the mixture for 12-14 hours. In order for the bubbles to be large and not burst for a long time, you need to add a few tablespoons of sugar. Using a straw, blow into the solution to create bubbles. Gently press the paper onto the bubbles, which will burst and leave a mark. Repeat the procedure with each color.
Approximate topics for using the technique: “Postcard to Mom”, “Patchwork rug”, “Smeshariki”, etc.
Drawing with large beads.
Drawing method: a sheet of cardboard is fixed at the bottom of the package and a silhouette image is attached to it. Afterwards, large beads are divided and dipped in 4-5 containers with different diluted paints and laid out along the edges of the cardboard. The package is closed and shaken chaotically. Next, the cardboard is carefully removed and freed from the silhouette insert.
Approximate topics for using technology: “Cobweb”, “Blizzard”, “Fireworks”, etc.
“POKE” method (painting with a hard semi-dry brush)
Materials: A landscape sheet of paper, a simple pencil, gouache, hard and soft brushes, a jar of water, a rag.
We draw a contour image of the animal with a simple pencil (for older children, you don’t need to outline the contours of the animals).
On a dry, hard brush, pick up just a little bit of gouache. desired color and, holding the brush vertically (the brush taps with the “heel”), we make “pokes” on top, placing them inside and along the edges of the animal’s silhouette.
When the paint dries, use the tip of a soft brush to paint the animal’s eyes, nose, mouth, mustache and other characteristic details.
Options for work: with a poke of a hard semi-dry brush you can paint a kitten, a dog, a sheep, a goat, a hedgehog, a lion's mane, a snowman, snow, a Christmas tree, a pine tree, a forest, the sun, flowers (dandelions, sunflowers) and much more.
Monotype
Using subject monotype you can depict in an unusual way symmetrical object (butterfly, beetle, flower). Landscape monotype opens up the opportunity to paint nature and get an impression in a mirror image (like in water). There is only one print. Hence the name - monotype (from the Greek monos - one, single and tupos - imprint). Using the monotype technique, you can create perfectly symmetrical objects or magnificent landscapes.
Material: a sheet of landscape paper, gouache, wide and thin brushes, a jar of water, a palette, a rag.
Progress:
1. Fold a sheet of paper in half vertically so that a fold line appears and unfold it.2. On the right half of the sheet, draw the right half of the butterfly.3. Then we moisten the left half of the sheet with water using a wide brush, fold the sheet again along the fold line, and press it to make an imprint.4. A whole butterfly appears on the unfolded sheet.
Work options. An object monotype can depict a stingray, a beetle, a spider, an octopus, a flower in a pot, a ball, the sun and other symmetrical objects.
Diatypia
The diatypia technique (from the Greek dia - through, through) is considered a type of monotype, but there are significant differences.
The technique is unusual in that the drawing is made on organic glass, and the image remains on a sheet of paper wet from water. Hence the second name “water printing”. On the side that was pressed against the glass or cardboard, you will get a print - a convex mirror pattern with an interesting texture and a colored background.
Material: glossy cardboard (or organic glass), a thin sheet of paper, gouache, a wide brush, a simple pencil or just a pointed stick, a jar of water, a rag.
Progress:
1. On glossy cardboard or plexiglass, apply a seascape - sea and sky - with a thick brush. 2. After wetting a sheet of paper, place it on top of the image, lightly pressing the sheet against the cardboard.3. Using a simple pencil on the back side of the sheet, we divide the sea and sky with a horizontal line, in the center we draw and paint over a small sailboat, rocks, at the top - the sun, clouds.4. Carefully remove the thin sheet from the cardboard, you get a printed sea with convex rocks, a sailboat and a sky with the sun and clouds.
Embossing
Embossing is a very exciting activity. Monotonously shading a sheet of paper, we suddenly discover that corrugated surfaces gradually appear on it.
Material: a sheet of thin paper, a coin or a convex image of a dinosaur, a simple pencil.
Progress:
1. Place a piece of paper on a coin.2. Using a simple pencil, shade the part of the paper protruding above the coin until the entire corrugated surface appears.
Precipitous
When making appliqué using this method, scissors are not needed. Colored paper is torn along the intended contour, forming parts with uneven “shaggy” edges. The parts are smeared with glue and glued to the base. This technique is suitable for conveying the fluffy, voluminous and soft texture of an object.
Material: base picture; colored paper; homemade paste (or PVA glue); foam swab (or hard glue brush); oilcloth lining.
Aqua
Aqua – with in English translated as water. So from the name it is clear that this technique involves a lot of water. How can water affect an image? Interesting? Then get acquainted with the techniques of the aquatouch technique.
Material: Thick sheet, gouache, black ink, wide brush, jar of water, wide bowl of water, cloth.
Progress:
1. On a sheet of paper, using gouache of different colors, we large-scale draw any object, for example, a mushroom.2. When the gouache dries, cover the entire sheet with black ink (the latter dries quickly if its layer is not too thick).3. Rinse the dried drawing under running water. In this case, the ink applied over the paints will be washed off almost completely, and the part of the sheet that is covered only with ink will remain black.
Drawing with a cotton swab
The resulting pictures, drawn with dots, look like ancient frescoes. Having framed your child’s drawing, you can decorate his room with a painting of your own making.
Material: half a landscape sheet, a simple pencil, cotton swabs, gouache (or acrylic paints), a jar of water, a cloth.
Progress
1. Using a simple pencil, outline the contours of a large object, for example a butterfly.2. Then we put gouache of a certain color on the tip of a cotton swab and draw along the contour of the butterfly silhouette to make dots. To change color, prepare a clean cotton swab.3. We make various patterns from the dots on the butterfly’s wings: flowers, multi-colored stripes, geometric shapes, etc.
Leaf prints
In autumn, you just want to pick up beautiful fallen leaves and bring them home. The leaves can be dried, but then they will become brittle. For this painting technique you need to use freshly picked leaves. The child can make leaf prints with different trees. And they will all look real.
Material: landscape sheet, fallen leaves from different trees, gouache, wide brush, jar of water, oilcloth (place under the leaves to be painted).
Progress.
1. Take a maple leaf, place its smooth side on the oilcloth and liberally paint the underside of the leaf with gouache of the same color.2. While the gouache has not dried, apply the painted side of the leaf to clean slate paper and press firmly so that it is printed entirely. Make sure that the child does not move the pressed leaf.3. Then we remove the leaf and, if necessary, paint over the print in unprinted areas.
Silhouette
Before you teach your child to trace silhouettes with a pencil, introduce him to another fascinating way of conveying the contours of an object - padding. It's much easier and more impressive! It turns out like a magic trick. You lift the template and see a fluffy, light, airy, transparent outline on the paper, and then all that remains is to bring it to the intended image.
Material: a landscape sheet, a silhouette of a bear cub cut out of cardboard, a bowl with a stamp pad soaked in gouache, a foam rubber swab (or a gauze swab), gouache, a brush, a jar of water, a rag.
Progress:
1. Apply the silhouette to a sheet of paper and hold it with your left hand.2. IN right hand- foam swab. We put gouache on it and, using the “poke” method, using light touches of the tampon, trace the silhouette along the contour.3. Carefully remove the template and get a clear and clear silhouette of the bear cub on paper.4. Using a thin brush we decorate the bear’s face and add small details.
Wet pictures
Material: sheet of watercolor paper; watercolor paints; wide and thin soft brushes; a jar of water; cloth
Progress
1. Using a wide brush, apply a lot of water to a sheet of paper.2. The child takes watercolor paint with a thin brush and touches it to a sheet of paper in several places. The point begins to spread.3. The empty spaces are filled with spreading dots of other colors.4. Together with your child, think about what his picture reminds of. Give the children's work a title.
Paper lumps
Material: base picture with an outline of the object; colored paper; homemade paste (or PVA glue); foam swab (or hard glue brush); oilcloth - lining.
Work progress and work options:
1 appointment. Glue is applied to a large lump using a brush or a foam swab, or the lump itself is dropped into a saucer with glue and glued to the base. A large lump can act as a finished object (a cloud, a snowdrift, a snowball, an apple, a pompom on a hat, etc.) or as a detail of an object, for example, the body of a bear cub, chicken, bunny, spider, snowman, etc. You can even make voluminous crafts from large lumps of paper.
2nd appointment. There are two ways to stick small lumps. With small children, glue is applied to a cardboard base and covered with paper balls. With older children, when more careful work needs to be done, each lump is smeared with glue using a brush or finger. An applique of small balls is played out like rowan berries, flowers in a meadow, decorations for a nesting doll or a clown, nuts on a tree, sweets in a vase, stars in the sky, falling snow or rain, beads for beads, a turtle shell, a mushroom cap, camel wool, lamb, poodle, bunny, squirrel, hedgehog thorns, etc.
3rd reception. You don’t have to roll the pieces of napkins or paper into balls, but simply crumple them slightly, giving them a certain shape - for example, a leaf from a tree, a petal from a flower, a butterfly wing, etc.
Mosaic made from pieces of paper
Material: background-base with a printed outline of the object; colored paper; homemade paste (or PVA glue); hard glue brush; oilcloth lining.
Work options
1st appointment. You can paste onto the plot base pieces of paper in the form of falling leaves or snowflakes, raindrops, seeds, peas or grains for birds, fish food, stars in the sky, fish in a river, flowers in a field, etc.
2nd reception. You can stick spots on a giraffe, dots on the back of a ladybug, decorations on a sweater, toys on christmas tree, apples on an apple tree, etc.
3rd reception. You can propose to lay out inside the entire contour with a paper mosaic “curls” on the body of a lamb, scales on a fish, fur on a dog, bear and other animals, feathers on birds, spines on a hedgehog, a crown of leaves on a tree, clouds, ice floes, etc.
4th reception. With pieces of paper you can completely lay out a contour image of any object - an apple, a flower, a house, a butterfly, a snake, etc. But such painstaking tasks can only be offered to children 4-7 years old.
Unusual drawing: prints
If we need to convey the texture of an object, then prints come to our aid various materials with a textured surface: foam pad, crumpled paper, polyethylene, foam, eraser, clothesline attached to the end of a thick block, etc. The child learns to experiment with new materials. And this gives him great pleasure. After all, with the help of prints you can achieve an amazing resemblance to reality - convey fluffiness, softness, sponginess, curliness, causticity, etc.
Material: a landscape sheet, a simple pencil, a bowl with a stamp pad soaked in gouache (or a saucer with paint), a foam swab, gouache, a brush, a jar of water, a rag.
Progress:
Using a simple pencil, outline the outline of an object, for example, a sheep. Then we press the tip of the foam rubber swab against the stamp pad with paint and make imprints on the silhouette of the sheep. If you need to use new color, you need to take another bowl with a stamp pad and a clean drawing tool. When the paint dries, use a thin brush to add horns, eyes, and tail to the sheep.
In addition, everyone knows the techniques of drawing with fingers and palms.

Explanatory note
Fine art is one of the oldest areas of art. Every child is born an artist. You just need to help him awaken his creative abilities, open his heart to goodness and beauty, help him realize his place and purpose in this beautiful world.
The main goal of the modern system additional education is the upbringing and development of the child’s personality. Achieving this goal is impossible without the implementation of the tasks facing the educational field of “Artistic Creativity”, an integral part of which is fine art. Fine art has a variety of materials and techniques. Often, familiar, traditional ways and means are not enough for a child to express his fantasies. Having analyzed the author's developments, various materials, as well as innovate experience work with children, accumulated at the present stage by domestic and foreign teaching practitioners, I became interested in the possibility of using unconventional techniques art activities in working with preschoolers to develop imagination, creative thinking and creative activity. Unconventional painting techniques demonstrate unusual combinations of materials and tools. The formation of an artistic image in preschoolers occurs on the basis of practical interest in developmental activities. Classes in the “Rainbow of Colors” program are aimed at implementing the basic tasks of the artistic and creative development of children. Drawing with unusual materials, original techniques allows children to experience unforgettable positive emotions. Unconventional drawing gives children a lot of positive emotions, reveals new possibilities for using familiar objects as artistic materials, and surprises them with its unpredictability. Original drawing without a brush or pencil relaxes the child, allows him to feel the colors, their character, and mood. Unbeknownst to themselves, children learn to observe, think, and fantasize.
The teacher must awaken in every child faith in his creative abilities, individuality, uniqueness, the belief that he came into this world to create goodness and beauty, to bring joy to people.
Relevance program is due to the fact that there is a convergence of the content of the program with the requirements of life. There is now a need for new approaches to teaching aesthetic arts capable of solving modern problems of creative perception and personality development as a whole. In the system of aesthetic, creative education of the younger generation, a special role belongs to the fine arts. The ability to see and understand the beauty of the surrounding world contributes to the cultivation of a culture of feelings, the development of artistic and aesthetic taste, labor and creative activity, fosters determination, perseverance, a sense of mutual assistance, and provides the opportunity for creative self-realization of the individual. The program aims to introduce children to creativity through art. Children get acquainted with a variety of unconventional drawing methods, their features, the variety of materials used in drawing, and learn to create their own drawings based on the knowledge gained. Thus, a creative personality develops, capable of applying their knowledge and skills in various situations.
Practical significance of the program
An unconventional approach to creating images gives impetus to the development of children's intellect, encourages the child's creative activity, and teaches him to think outside the box. New ideas for combinations arise different materials, the child begins to experiment and create.
Drawing in unconventional ways is a fun, fascinating activity. This is a huge opportunity for children to think, try, search, experiment, and most importantly, express themselves.
Non-traditional drawing techniques are a real flame of creativity, it is an impetus for the development of imagination, the manifestation of independence, initiative, and expression of individuality
The path to creativity has many roads for them, known and still unknown. Creativity for children is a reflection of mental work. Feelings, mind, eyes and hands are the instruments of the soul. Creative process- this is a real miracle. "In creativity there is no the right way"There is no wrong way, there is only your own way"
Pedagogical feasibility
From many years of experience working with children to develop artistic and creative abilities in drawing, it became clear that standard sets of visual materials and methods of transmitting information are not enough for modern children, since the level of mental development and potential of the new generation has become much higher. In this regard, non-traditional drawing techniques give impetus to the development of children's intelligence, activate children's creative activity, and teach them to think outside the box.
An important condition for a child’s development is not only an original task, but also the use of non-traditional waste material and non-standard isotechnologies.
All classes in the program I developed are creative in nature.
Conducting classes using non-traditional techniques in this program:
Develops self-confidence. Helps relieve children's fears. Teaches children to freely express their ideas. Encourages children to creative searches and solutions. Teaches children to work with a variety of artistic, natural and waste materials. Develops fine motor skills of the hands. Develops creativity, imagination and flight of fancy. While working, children receive aesthetic pleasure. Confidence in one's creative abilities is fostered through the use of various isotechniques.
Novelty and distinctive feature programs“Rainbow of Colors” based on non-traditional painting techniques is that it is innovative. The work system uses non-traditional methods and methods of child development artistic creativity. Homemade tools, natural and waste, are used for unconventional drawing. Unconventional drawing gives children a lot of positive emotions, reveals the possibility of using familiar household items as original artistic materials, and surprises them with its unpredictability.
Target:
Develop children's creative abilities through non-traditional drawing.
Tasks:

Age of children from 4 to 5 years
“The origins of children’s abilities and talents are at their fingertips. From the fingers, figuratively speaking, come the finest threads- streams that feed the source of creative thought. In other words, the more skill in a child's hand, the smarter child».
V.A. Sukhomlinsky
Explanatory note
Preschool age is the period of introduction to the world of universal human values, the time of establishing first relationships with people. For normal development, children need creative self-expression. Creativity is inherent in children by nature. They love to compose, invent, fantasize, depict, and transform. Children's creativity does not manifest itself on its own. This requires attention from adults.
A child experiences the world with all his senses. The richer and more varied the child’s life experiences, the brighter and more unusual his associations.
The role of the teacher is to provide comprehensive assistance to the child in solving the creative problems facing him and to encourage non-standard solutions.
The use of non-traditional techniques in drawing classes helps to increase interest in visual arts, evoke a positive emotional response, and develop the child’s artistic and creative abilities.
What are the benefits of non-traditional techniques? They do not require highly developed technical skills and provide an opportunity to more clearly demonstrate the capabilities of some visual arts, which allows you to develop the ability to see the expressiveness of forms.
In addition, the features of the visual material “tell” children the future image, which is important at the stage of formation of ideas. The ability to integrate is also valuable different types visual arts (drawing, sculpting, appliqué); in the process of creating an interesting image, a combination of visual techniques and materials is possible (“drawing with plasticine,” collage, spray painting, etc.).
This type of activity allows you to make children’s work more interesting, expressive, colorful, as well as develop children’s independence, thinking and visual genesis.
Thus, teaching children unconventional ways drawing activates cognitive interest, forms an emotionally positive attitude towards the process of artistic activity, and contributes to the effective development of children's creativity.
