Exciting handicrafts will allow your child to develop their creative abilities. Such activities bring the whole family together, and quick result His work always makes the kids happy. Let's look at what you can make a sun out of at home.

Sun from disks

We will need:

  • colored and corrugated paper;
  • CDs for computer;
  • PVA or TITANIUM glue;
  • strong threads;
  • ruler, felt-tip pens and a simple pencil.

How to make a sun

  • Colored sheets of A4 paper should be marked with a simple pencil into strips 1 cm wide.
  • Cut the sheets into equal strips along the lines. These will be rays.
  • Grease the edges of our disk and glue strips of paper in a circle, for example, 5 yellow, 5 blue, 5 green, 5 orange. You can alternate stripes.
  • Fold the strips in half to form loops and glue them on the other side of the disk.
  • Taking another disk, we trace it with a pencil on yellow paper.
  • Use scissors to cut the circle.
  • We draw a mischievous face for the sun: bangs, eyes, chubby cheeks, mouth and nose. Let him laugh or smile, wink, etc.
  • Glue the painted yellow circle onto the disk.

Decoration of the sun from disks

  • Fold the corrugated paper like an accordion.
  • Using a simple pencil, draw semicircular flower petals of 2-3 shades, 5-6 petals each.
  • Then you need to cut along the lines with scissors. You will get several petals of the same color, for example, red and lilac.
  • To make voluminous petals, wind them on scissors until the middle of the petal and set aside.
  • We collect 5-6 petals of the same color into a flower, with 2 yellow petals in the center (middle).
  • At the bottom of the flowers we secure the petals tightly with threads so that they hold well.
  • We glue the finished flowers (3-4 pieces) to our sun - this will be a forelock. You can add a green leaf and beads, as in the picture.
  • We fold the colored thread in half, about 2 times the size of the rays of the sun.

An elegant little sun can be hung by a thread on the wall or in a convenient place.

Sun made of cardboard or disposable plate

This is also a simple sun craft suitable for kindergarten, which will cheer up both children and adults. To work you need:

  • yellow-orange paper;
  • yellow-orange cardboard or 1-time plate;
  • paints;
  • simple pencil;
  • glue and scissors.

Step-by-step making of a cardboard sun

For the circle of the sun, you need to take yellow cardboard, place the saucer on top and trace it with a pencil, getting a circle. If you have a disposable small plate, you can take it as a basis and paint it with bright yellow paints.

Take yellow-orange sheets of paper and trace the child’s palm on them. They will become the original rays of our sun. If you circle the palms of the whole family, you get a “family sun.” Each “palm” needs to be cut out of paper with scissors with small allowances for gluing.

One “palm” (rays) needs to be glued to the inside of the 1-time plate. You can adjust the length of the rays and density yourself.

The face of the sun turns out to be convex. Using a felt-tip pen (pencil) we draw eyes and a big mouth. You can cut it out of colored paper and stick it on a plate in a circle or cardboard. Waiting for it to dry. The craft is ready. Instead of palms, you can take yellowish napkins, roll them up, and glue the pieces around the plate.

Sun made of colored paper

A fun craft can be made from plain paper. Prepare:

  • colored paper 2-4 colors (yellow, pink, cream, orange);
  • felt-tip pen;
  • glue and scissors;
  • sticks.

Detailed instructions on how to make a sun with your own hands:

  • We fold colored A4 sheets into a small accordion.
  • Fold the accordions in half, cut at an angle to create cloves with the point up.
  • We glue the “accordions” folded in half with other colors (yellow-pink, etc.). You should get a circle with sharp rays.
  • Now, approximately 2 times smaller in diameter, cut out 2 circles, for example, pink. Cut out slightly larger circles of a different color (yellow) with waves, as in the picture.
  • Glue the pink even circles onto the wavy yellow ones. You will get 2 funny faces. Let them dry.
  • We glue the finished 2-color circles onto the accordions on both sides.
  • The craft can be attached to a thin stick (juice tube) so that it is convenient to hold in your hands or placed in a small vase.

A mischievous little thing (or several) will look beautiful in a children's room. It can be placed in the ground next to a house plant and fixed on a shelf. Can be glued to the window.

Fabric sun

Let's look at another beautiful craft on the theme of the sun, but it is more complicated. Prepare for work:

  • a piece of fabric and yellow thread;
  • cardboard;
  • padding polyester (cotton pad or foam rubber);
  • wooden skewer or thin stick;
  • glue "Titan" or "Master".

Stages of work:

Cut an even circle from cardboard, size as desired. Cut out a circle from yellow fabric bigger size by 1-1.5 cm.

Place a cotton pad (foam rubber) on a cardboard circle, cover it with a yellow cloth and turn it over. Now you need to sew the edges of our sun with light threads.

To do this, first we sew over the edge in a circle of fabric, then with a needle we firmly tighten the ends of the fabric from one side to the other, as shown in the figure.

You can glue the edges of the fabric to the wrong side without threads, having previously trimmed the ends of the fabric by about 0.3 cm. Glue the edges of the fabric on top of each other.

Rays - take yellow fabric like “Gabardine” or another. Using scissors, cut a rectangle approximately 3-4 cm. The length of the rays will depend on the base of the circle. Let mom help you calculate: 3.14 (number P) multiplied by d (diameter). Then + 2 cm is the length of the rays.

Pull one thread at a time horizontally from the rectangle so that 0.5-0.7 cm remains. You get a fringe. From the inside we glue the fringe in a circle. Glue a wooden skewer or thin stick to the inside.

Made from cardboard or thick material yellow tint cut out a circle slightly smaller in size than our base. Glue it to the wrong side, covering the stick and threads.

On the front side we draw eyes for the sun and a red mouth in a semicircle. You can paint with a brush and acrylic paints. Our craft is ready. Instead of fabric, the rays can be thin, long strips of foam rubber or foil.

We offer a lot of photo ideas for sun crafts for kids.

Photo crafts sun

Toddlers of average and senior groups Kindergarten students must be able to work with scissors, glue and paper. They are helped with this joint crafts with teachers. The circle is one of the simplest shapes a child can master. Therefore, the first arts and crafts lessons usually include working with shapes round shape, for example, an image of the sun. In the master class below we will look at how you can make a sun quickly and easily with your own hands using various techniques, accessible to the smallest handicraftsmen.

How to make a sun with your own hands from your palms in a master class

One of the most popular crafts for kindergarten is making panels from palms outlined on paper and cut out. This technique not only teaches children to use paper and scissors, but also helps to establish a good relationship with other kids in the group, because the sun from palms is made collectively.

Necessary materials:
  • colored paper yellow, orange and red;
  • printed image of the sun (optional);
  • scissors;
  • simple pencil;
  • double-sided tape or stapler;
  • film for lamination.
Operating procedure.

We trace children's palms on sheets of colored paper and cut out 45-50 blanks of different colors. We place the blanks in lamination film and cut along the contour, avoiding the formation of air bubbles between the film and paper. We connect our palms into long rays, folding them overlapping and fastening them with a stapler or tape, 4-5 pieces at a time. We place the rays in a circle in the shape of a sun, fixing them in several places.

When all the rays from the palms are connected, glue the printed image of the sun to the center. You can draw the face yourself on a plain paper mug using markers or colored pencils.

The craft is ready!

Let's try to assemble a simple pasta sun with your child

An unusual and very easy-to-make panel can be made using shaped pasta. This work will help your child learn to carefully lay out the elements of a picture by matching materials different shapes and textures.

Necessary materials:
  • curly pasta: rings, bows, etc.;
  • gouache;
  • PVA glue;
  • brush;
  • white and colored paper;
  • colored cardboard;
  • cotton pads;
  • large beads.
Operating procedure.

Cut a sheet of colored cardboard to the required size. If you don't have colored cardboard, you can use white cardboard and glue a sheet of bright paper onto it. In the center of the base we outline a circle and apply enough to this area a large number of glue. We fill the center of the sun with round or hexagonal shaped pasta, placing them tightly in relation to each other.

Cut yellow or yellow paper orange color into identical strips about 0.5 cm wide and wind them tightly onto a pencil, forming spirals. We glue the blanks in the form of rays of the sun, with the exception of its upper part - we will decorate it differently.

We cut the cotton pads and glue them together, as shown in the photo below. For this craft you will need to make 5 of these flowers.

We attach the flowers to the sun’s head in two rows, and glue a bead to the center of each. We cut out blanks for the eyes, nose and mouth from colored paper, glue them together and decorate the sun’s face. We glue pasta in the form of bows to the ends of the rays and paint them with multi-colored gouache. If desired, the pasta sun can be placed in a frame.

Let's make a fun craft in the shape of a sun with pigtails

The sun with pigtails is a very fun and easy craft to make. She will teach kids how to work with threads, weave simple braids and evenly distribute elements around the perimeter of the product.

Necessary materials:
  • disposable paper plate;
  • yellow and orange yarn;
  • colored paper;
  • hole puncher;
  • stapler;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • additional decor: eyes for toys, ribbons.
Operating procedure.

Using a hole punch, we make several holes around the perimeter of the plate, located at the same distance from each other. This operation must be carried out by the teacher. We cut the yarn into pieces of equal length and fold them into identical bundles according to the number of holes in the plate. We drag each bunch of threads into a plate (this can easily be done using a crochet hook), braid a three-part braid and tie it with a thread. We braid all the braids like this and trim them slightly with scissors. You can alternate yellow and orange braids. We make fluffy bangs from scraps of yarn. To do this, cut the orange threads into pieces 8-10 cm long, put them in a bundle and tie them tightly with a thread in the middle. Attach the bangs to the plate using a stapler or a small piece of tape.

We decorate the face: glue on the eyes, draw eyelashes, lips, cheeks and nose. You can paste a finished image printed on a color printer.

If desired, we tie multi-colored bows from ribbons onto the braids, and attach a loop at the back to hang the panel on the wall.

You can find other options for crafts for kindergarten in the shape of the sun in the video lessons below.

Maslenitsa is just around the corner, which is famous for its traditions, fun festivities for a whole week and eating delicious pancakes. At this time, people say goodbye to winter and joyfully welcome spring. Therefore, as a craft for Maslenitsa, you can make an original sun from a disk and colored paper.

Necessary materials:

  • double sided sheets yellow color;
  • felt-tip pen or marker for drawing a face;
  • unnecessary disk for the base of the craft;
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

Stages of creating crafts for Maslenitsa:

Our sun will be yellow and orange. Therefore, for the middle we use a dark shade of paper. Draw a circle that will be half the diameter of the disk. Then we cut it along the contour using scissors.

Apply glue to the central part of the disk and apply a cut out circle of colored paper to it. We get this sun that needs to dry out a little.

In the meantime, let's move on to making the rays. We will make them from bright yellow paper. We mark a 10 x 1 cm marking on the sheet using a ruler and a simple pencil. Cut out at least 28 pieces.

Then we bend each strip and apply glue to their edges, which will help them connect. This way we get three-dimensional rays of the sun, which we will later attach to the disk.

Apply glue to the tip of the strip and glue it to the back of the disk. We will do the same with the second strip and the third. You can also use double-sided tape or glue from a hot glue gun to make the craft quickly and neatly.

We continue to glue the yellow rays of the sun one by one along the contour of the disk, which has a round shape.

As a result, we get a lot of pretty rays around the sun.

Finally, let’s draw a cute happy face on the orange part of the craft, where there will be big eyes, nose, eyelashes, freckles and smile. If you have difficulty drawing, you can look for a cartoon face in magazines or the Internet and print and cut it out.

A beautiful craft in the form of a bright sun made of colored paper and a disk is ready! It is perfect for decorating any corner in a child’s room for Maslenitsa, because you can hang it by one of the rays or glue an additional cord.

We make paper crafts. "Sunshine" to every home!

This version of the product is very easy to manufacture. It will take no more than half an hour to create it. And as a result, the sun will turn out bright and beautiful. For the creative process we prepare the following materials:

  • yellow cardboard;
  • double-sided colored paper;
  • or PVA;
  • pencil;
  • round object (cup, saucer, etc.);
  • hole puncher;
  • scissors;
  • ruler.

The DIY “Sun” craft is done according to the following instructions. Trace a round object onto cardboard and cut out the piece. This will be the basis of the product. Punch holes along the edge of the circle using a hole punch. The gaps between them should be no more than 0.5 centimeters. The more often you make holes, the more magnificent and beautiful the craft will be. On colored paper, draw long rays (10-15 cm) in the form of sharp triangles and cut them out. The number of these blanks must be equal to the number of holes. Using a sharp edge, thread each ray into a hole, bend the tip and glue it from the wrong side to the round base of the craft. Place the figurine under a heavy flat object. If desired, the product can be painted with colored pencils or felt-tip pens: eyes, mouth, freckles. The “Sun” craft is made with your own hands. Such a figurine can be either Christmas tree decoration, if you make a loop on it. This product is also great toy, which develops the motor skills of the baby’s hands and allows him to study colors with interest.

The principle of making this version of the figurine is the same as described in the previous master class. Only here yarn is used to make the rays. It is cut into pieces of 8-10 centimeters. Next, the threads are folded into bundles of 5-6 pieces. These blanks are threaded through the holes and tied into knots. If it is inconvenient to insert the yarn into the holes, then do it using a crochet hook. You can attach a wooden skewer or a cocktail tube to the base of the product, to the cardboard circle, using tape or hot glue. Then the DIY “Sun” craft will become a wonderful attribute for a puppet theater.
