assumes 3 stages of training:

Stage 1: Getting to know the sand country

Goals:

awakening interest in sand activities;

development of hand motor skills, fine tactile sensations;

introducing children to the rules of behavior in the sandbox.

Stage 2:

Goals:

development of cognitive processes;

development of speech, memory, thinking;

improving motor coordination, fine motor skills,

orientation in space.

Stage 3: In the kingdom of sand literacy

Goals:

automation of sounds in speech;

creating compositions in the sand;

speaking actions with sand;

development of children's coherent speech, teaching storytelling.

You should start by getting acquainted with sand, with tactile sensations,

sand: rub it between your fingers, bury your hands deep in the sand. All

this allows you to move on to exercises aimed at developing small

motor skills: fingers “go for a walk” in the sand, play on the sand like a piano,

etc. After teaching children how to manipulate sand, you can move on to

subject design. You can build natural landscapes: rivers,

lakes, seas, mountains, valleys, explaining the essence of these phenomena along the way. So,

gradually children receive information about the world around them and accept

creation.

“The Sand Fairy was sad because her friends, the grains of sand, were lost and

could not return home to the sandbox. The Sand Fairy asks you:

Take care of the grains of sand - do not throw them out of the sandbox. If by chance

the sand has spilled out - show it to an adult, and he will help them return

back to the sandbox. You cannot throw sand out of the sandbox.

Sand grains really don't like being taken into the mouth or thrown at

other children. You cannot put sand in your mouth and throw it at other people.

The Sand Fairy loves it when children have clean hands and noses. Played with

sand - wash your hands and show your clean palms in the mirror.”

Rules of behavior in the sandbox.

(preparatory group)

You cannot intentionally throw sand out of a sandbox.

You should not throw sand at others or put it in your mouth.

After the game you need to help the Sand Fairy (owner of the sandbox, Queen

sand world, gnomes, Tartil the turtle, etc.) remove all toys

to their places.

After playing in the sand, you should wash your hands.

"Sand Country"

WORD OF ART:

Poetry:

What do you need to play in the sand?

But, in essence, so little is needed:

Love, desire, kindness.

So that faith in childhood does not disappear.

The simplest desk drawer

Let's paint it blue

A handful of golden sand

A wondrous fairy tale will flow there,

Set of small toys

Let's put it into play...Like God

We will create our own World of Wonders,

Having walked the path of Knowledge.

(T. Grabenko)

Water flows in a stream,

Water splashes in the river.

We will wash ourselves with water,

We can't live without water.

Our town is sandy,

You are standing above the river.

You are cozy, beautiful,

At least not very big.

Hello, red sun,

Hello, it's a clear morning.

Hello our sand,

Little yellow friend!

Look at our palms,

Find kindness and love in them,

Sandman, come!

(T. Grabenko)

Look at our palms -

They have become wiser!

Thank you, our dear sand,

You helped us all grow up!

(T. Grabenko)

(on behalf of the Sandman)

I listened to you, I heard you

These are such great guys!

You are magical creators.

I'll tell you secrets

You just need to know

Rules of my country.

They are all very simple!

I'll present them now

And I ask you to remember!

Are you ready to listen to me?

So, can we start?

Repeat everything after me!

There are no harmful children in the country -

After all, they have no place in the sand!

You can't bite or fight here

And throw sand in your eyes!

Don't ruin foreign countries!

Sand is a peaceful country.

You can build and do wonders,

You can create a lot:

Mountains, rivers and seas,

So that there is life around.

Children, do you understand me?!

Or do we need to repeat it?!

To remember and be friends!

(T. Grabenko)

These are the kids!

As one they are all good!

The house was built in sand.

The house is beautiful! That's for sure!

There are windows, a roof, doors.

Toy animals live there.

We'll go for a walk now,

We will also build a house!

(N.V. Nishcheva)

Sand awaits us today

Clean, fresh, golden.

Get in here, my friend:

You want a swarm, but you want a formation.

Our village is sandy,

Beloved and dear,

Cozy and beautiful,

Although not big!

Puzzles:

It’s convenient to bake Easter cakes from me,

You just can't eat it,

I am free-flowing, yellow,

Inedible,

Have you guessed who I am?

Something can be buried in it,

I love to walk on it

And sleep on it for an hour.

Guess what? - ... (sand)

He came from the stones

He emerged from the stones

Was born as grains:

Yellow, red, white

Or light grey.

Either it is sea, or it is river.

Guess who it is!

Small grains of a huge mountain

Small grains of a huge mountain.

They don't flow down like water or juice.

A thin trickle from the mountain for the time being

It pours out with a quiet murmur

It is yellow and friable,

There is a heap in the yard,

If you want you can take it

And play Easter cakes.

Dry - I am loose and free-flowing,

Damp, when the rain pours out of the clouds.

I am yellow, sweet and golden.

Do you guys know who I am?

Petya builds the castle deftly,

Katya bakes a cake with a bucket.

Here, by the sea for an hour

I gathered all the children...

“Guess which letter you came across”

The child is asked to put his hands in the sand, find the letter and, without taking it out,

from sand, determine which letter came into his hands.

"What's hidden in the sand?"

The child is invited to put his hands in the sand and find what he comes across.

Then the teacher asks to name all the objects that were found in the sand.

You can play the game “What’s missing?”: the child closes his eyes, and this

time the teacher removes one or more objects. Can be changed

place objects and ask the child to “clean up the order.”

Game "My City".

The speech therapist gives the task to choose figures whose names contain the given

sound, and build a city using these figures. Then you can compose

oral history about this city and its inhabitants.

One of the methods of analytical psychotherapy - sand therapy - allows you to develop the child’s imagination, normalize psycho emotional condition, activate adaptive functions at any age. Art therapists, business trainers, and special education teachers use sand therapy in preschool educational institutions. To solve each specific problem, various sand therapy techniques are used.

Sand treatment is one of the areas art-therapy.

The “father” of sand games or sandplay is traditionally considered to be K. Jung and his followers. C. Jung developed the technique of active imagination, which is considered a theoretical basis. Emergence sandplay began in the 1920s with the development of the “world test” by Charlotte Bühler, which was successfully used as a diagnostic tool in child psychiatry.

In 1930, a new technique appeared, which was implemented by Margaret Lowenfeld, who founded the London Institute, and it was she who first placed toy figures in a substance. This technique was borrowed from the “world test.” Margaret’s wards created entire large-scale compositions in the sandbox and called them “My world" Thanks to this, a new method emerged, called the “world technique”. This method was continued in the 50s by C. Jung’s follower Dora Kalff, combining “world technology” and the Jungian direction, and thereby creating sand therapy.

Dora Kalff's discovery was that sand Pictures created by children can become a reflection of their thoughts and experiences. Application of this useful The technique has been tested not only on young patients, but also on mature people.

In sandplay they are used as non-verbal means(when creating a plot) and verbal ( story about the finished painting or inventing a fairy tale that reveals the essence of the creation). This method is widely used art therapists, Gelstatt therapy specialists, family and child psychotherapists, educators and speech therapist V dhow.

Features of the method

The method is suitable for all age categories. As soon as a person dips his palms into the material, his imagination begins to paint colorful pictures of a golden beach, the bright blue of the sea and white flakes of clouds slowly floating across the sky. Just as sand allows water to pass through, it also absorbs negative energy. The smallest grains of sand, only connected together in a certain way, allow you to create your own work. They symbolize life in which a person, by arranging events and thoughts in a certain way, gets the desired results.

A complex effect on the human psyche is achieved through tactile stimulation of the very sensitive nerve endings of the palms and hands. A state of meditation arises and is removed nervous tension. Based on the images and symbols resulting from drawing, one can draw conclusions about the specifics of personal problems and identify human needs. Studying what is captured, we see a three-dimensional image of the inner world, unconscious problems and conflicts.

The goal of therapy is to develop self-acceptance in the child, teach him to trust and love himself.

Therapy goals:

  • upbringing positive attitude to life, to yourself;
  • fostering responsibility for one’s actions;
  • training the ability to trust yourself and exercise self-control over your actions;
  • treatment of excessive anxiety when planning actions and overcoming obstacles;
  • development of self-confidence.

Principles of the method

Sand therapy is based on creating figures or images on a plane. Initially, you need to conduct testing by asking you to create your own image and describe it in words. The children's audience views this as a game, which is actually a powerful diagnostic tool and correctional technique. You can practice while listening to music or listening to a fairy tale, depending on the purpose of the specific procedure.

The method is used as an independent method or as an integral part of the following treatment areas:

  • sand art therapy;
  • psychology;
  • speech therapy;
  • development of speech, writing, counting, memory and attention;
  • therapy aimed at developing self-awareness and self-respect;
  • identification negative thoughts, learning to cope with them;
  • influence on several family members in order to correct behavioral disorders;
  • child psychoanalysis.

Method capabilities

Sand therapy in kindergarten will allow you to cook your very first dinner, build your first house. Being a reflection of the inner world, sand therapy provides the following:

  1. Creates a natural, comfortable environment for the child’s creativity, which stimulates his creative activity.
  2. Revives abstract images, makes it easier to understand the addition of letters into words, numbers into mathematical operations.
  3. Gives children the opportunity to “live” the situation together with the heroes of fairy tales.
  4. Provides a transition from reality to a fairy tale, makes it possible to check the correctness of the choice of solution in a given situation.

Children with speech disorders have complex emotional disturbances, which is reflected in the inconsistency of emotional reactions to a specific situation. This complicates contact with peers and leads to hyperactivity or inhibition. This gives rise to the need to include a wide variety of methods in working with children. It has been proven that sand therapy allows you to develop communication abilities, teaches you to express and understand yourself and your feelings.

Indications for therapy

There are the following indications for sand therapy:

  • experiencing an age crisis;
  • inability to put into words your experiences;
  • presence of psychological trauma;
  • inability to make decisions independently;
  • delayed psycho-speech development;
  • emotional inhibition, “stinginess”;
  • psychotherapy for various addictions;
  • reducing tension;
  • development of all types of sensitivity;
  • normalization of muscle tone;
  • broadening one's horizons;
  • increased anxiety, emotional lability.

Relevance sandplay is very high nowadays. Through tactile Feel Not only does speech and cognition develop, but children also get rid of unmotivated aggression, and the teacher begins to understand his students better.

Psychotherapy spread with sand kindergartens and schools not everywhere, but soon this technique will be mandatory for everyone educationalinstitutions With providing special equipment. It is important to use this method in working with children with features, having onr,zpr, violations vision, cerebral palsy, disabled people. It is enough just to give such children the instructions to build, and they will already begin to create entire universes.

Contraindications

  • attention deficit, hyperactivity;
  • epileptic seizures;
  • psychiatric illnesses;
  • increased anxiety;
  • obsessive-compulsive neurosis;
  • dust allergic reactions;
  • lung diseases;
  • skin diseases and hand injuries.

Psychotherapists use the method with children suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Equipment for classes

The following devices are used for therapeutic play:

  • a waterproof box, the walls of which are painted blue and the bottom is blue;
  • special sandbox that changes color - tablet;
  • clean sand, which must be moistened during certain games;
  • a set of figures symbolizing buildings, people, animals, cars;
  • symbolic objects that will represent wishes made, treasure chests, treasures;
  • fairy-tale heroes - good and evil;
  • religious items and souvenirs;
  • natural objects - shells, twigs, cones;
  • home stuff;
  • bolts, screws;
  • plastic letters and numbers, geometric figures.

After testing, educational games for preschoolers begin according to their needs, age, identified disorders, and cognitive disorders.

In the future, you can include interactive, developmental activities and only then - projective games and exercises.

Requirements for a teacher

Starting the game, little hands come into contact with a unique universe. It is necessary to create a friendly, trusting environment, take into account all the nuances of the voice, its timbre, and observe the following important parameters:

Sand therapy for preschool children develops fine motor skills of the hand, stimulates blood circulation in the brain, accelerates mental processes, and normalizes psychological reactions. It is necessary to connect color therapy techniques to this process, since they are powerful signals for personality development.

What is needed for sand therapy at home

If parents want to organize a sandplay Houses, then for this they will need:

  • pallet;
  • sand;
  • Miniature figures;
  • Pebbles, plants, etc. to create a certain landscape.

Depending on the objectives, sand therapy can take place in the form of games aimed at:

  • development of phonemics;
  • correction of sound pronunciation;
  • literacy training;
  • educational games;
  • family sand therapy;
  • projection games.

The lesson includes the following plan:

  1. We introduce the child to the sandbox, explain that the blue side symbolizes the sky, that you can create any type of terrain: mountains, deserts, and by spreading the sand - the blue sea.
  2. We give you the opportunity to hold in your hands a collection of geometric shapes, animals, and household items.
  3. The figures that the baby chooses symbolize his condition today. The most important thing is to ask him to tell you what he thinks about the selected figures.
  4. We carefully observe the baby: how he enters the situation, with whom he identifies himself.
  5. We teach the child to be careful with materials.
  6. We formulate the topic at the beginning of sand therapy, conduct the classes according to the plan, and after its completion it is important to draw a conclusion about the work done, put all the used objects and toys in their places, and clean up after yourself.

Games to develop auditory attention and memory

  • Games aimed at increasing vocabulary and constructing detailed phrases.

By the age of three, a person can pronounce basic words correctly. Some children speak unclearly, swap syllables and letters in words, and place stress incorrectly. If he is not attentive to speech problems, by the age of 5 he realizes that he is speaking incorrectly and begins to feel embarrassed about it and withdraws into himself. You can arrange speech games in sand. To do this, children draw letters, learn to form syllables and pronounce them loudly or quietly, in a chant, in a whisper.

Having placed different figures in a container, we teach the child to name the animals, write - what letter its name begins with, and what sounds these animals make. You can play tic-tac-toe.

  • Educational geographical games on the sand.

After simple games With the construction of houses, rivers, seas and boats on them, we begin to develop spatial thinking. For classes, a map of the world or continents made independently in the form of a puzzle is suitable. To do this, you need to purchase two identical geographical maps in the store and divide one into 4-6 fragments. We give the child a sample map and offer to put together a puzzle. Gradually we begin to fold continents and oceans. Then we complicate the game by making a “sea” at the bottom of the sandbox, spreading the sand. During the game, we pronounce the names of countries, their capitals, and find out who lives there. For example, in France the capital is Paris, and the French live there.

For each country we select characteristic vegetation and animals, placing palm trees, elephants, and crocodiles in the sandbox. We explain what a tropical climate is and why birches don’t grow there. You can travel to the North Pole by first making a supply of salt, polystyrene foam or cotton wool for snow.

  • Fantastic games with transformers on the sand.

We imitate the life of other planets, the lunar landscape, star Wars, which will be especially interesting to boys, will help them realize their desire to be a superhero, teach them to fight and win.

Depending on the age of children, in addition to geographical and fantasy games, there are the following types of educational games:

  • historical;
  • find logical pairs;
  • learn to eliminate unnecessary things;
  • take a tour of the city;
  • count objects, build logical series;
  • learn to navigate: what is - above, below, right, left.

Projective games

The peculiarity identified by S. Freud of attributing one's feelings and desires to external objects is very helpful in working with children. The child is asked to do the following:

  • describe the existing images in the sand and endow them with some qualities;
  • create a single whole from disparate parts hidden in the sand;
  • come up with a story or fairy tale with characters and objects from existing figures in the sand;
  • draw a non-existent animal, and others.

It must be remembered that projective techniques cannot be unambiguously interpreted; they are socially and situationally determined and are aimed at studying the child’s personality as a whole. Given that these techniques are not sufficiently standardized, they are used for diagnosis and treatment by psychotherapists.

Sand therapy includes a wide variety of individual and group games and activities. Illuminated boards or sand of various colors are actively used. This will help the child express his existing emotional state.

A series of games and exercises with sand from books T. Zinkevich - Evstigneeva “Miracles on the Sand” contribute to the development of tactile-kinesthetic sensitivity, fine motor skills, creative imagination, and help in understanding one’s external and internal world.

Here are some games:

  • Hand impressions. With the help of this exercises The baby learns to evaluate sensations. The teacher or parent shows the student a print of his or her palm
  • on the sand, the patient repeats the same. The hand is pressed and plunged into the pan.

First, the presenter describes his feelings. He tells his story about sand, what kind of material it is, soft or rough, how he feels small particles with his skin. Then follows the child's story about sand.

  • Rain or waterfall. This game is good remedy to relieve muscle tension and aggression. The teacher or presenter says that the waterfall has begun. The little person pours sand onto the back of the adult's hand, and then he performs the exercise for the baby.
  • Creating patterns. Draw various patterns on the sand using fingers, fists, and brushes, and then tell what the child sees when he looks at them. This can be flowers, animals, branches, etc. This exercise has a positive effect on psycho-emotional condition of children.
  • Hide and seek. The game helps in clarifying the psychological problems of the ward and helping to get rid of them. The preschooler is offered a choice of several objects, which he must bury in the sand, and then dig up and tell about all the hidden objects.
  • Playing the plot. The psychologist invites the patient to create his own world using a choice of miniature figures. If target sand therapy - getting rid of aggression, then small man will choose negative characters and cause war and destruction, thereby relieving tension and calming his anger.

Psychologist's advice to parents: how to decipher the signs

From sandplay specialist Ulyana Naumova you can hear the following:

  • The kid can make any buildings and in the ways he wants, adhering to three main rules: do not pour sand outside the pallet, do not destroy the buildings of other children if he plays in a group.
  • Parents need to monitor what their child is building. For example, if he is building a house whose walls are very thick, it means that he has a desire for security, which he may lack, and wants to strengthen his internal boundaries so that everyone notices them and does not cross them.
  • Power is a symbol of the fact that he has no boundaries, which is why there is no comfort.
  • The appearance of candles or a fire indicates the baby’s lack of warmth and care. The presence of chaos in the child’s play space shows what kind of disorder is inside the patient or foreshadows the immediate start of change.
  • It is also important to observe the little person’s play and ask him questions: why did this particular composition come about, what significance do all these structures have for him. With the daily construction of the world, the baby becomes better behavior, sleep becomes stronger, anxiety and tension go away.”

Conclusion

Drawing with sand will help a child relax; it has a fascinating effect on viewers and artists. Sand therapy can be performed with music and allows you to solve many problems in diagnosis, treatment and development of cognitive abilities. In this case, almost all types of analyzing organs are involved in the process:

  • vision;
  • hearing;
  • tactile sensitivity;
  • sensory perception.

Sand therapy for preschool children allows them to develop speech, motor skills, hearing, sociability, creativity, Creative skills. In addition, it relieves stress, eliminates fears, helps express internal conflicts and experiences, and increases self-esteem. Sand therapy promotes the formation of self-esteem in a small individual and teaches him to understand himself.

Program

Corrective and developmental activities using sand therapy

Compiled by: educational psychologist M.S. Matyushenko

Explanatory note

The need for such a program is due to the fact that children who come to our Center need both diagnostics and correctional classes for the development of the cognitive sphere, and the creation of a natural stimulating environment in which the child will feel comfortable and protected and will be able to demonstrate his creative activity. The sandbox can also be used in developmental and educational activities. By building sand pictures and inventing various stories, we pass on knowledge to the child in the most accessible form.

Sand therapy is based on Jung's theory, which states that in our unconscious, every object we encounter forms certain connections. Associative. By turning to this type of therapy, we relieve internal tension, increase self-confidence, and discover new ways of development for ourselves. So, touching the sand, we feel peace, and also remember all the good things that were associated with sand in childhood: for some, hot summers and a cold river, and for others, sea stones and shells. And also the constant scorching summer sun. Childhood, carefree, happiness

Program goals: Development of cognitive interest in various areas of knowledge and activities.

Tasks:

1) relaxation, relieving muscle tension;
2) development of visual-spatial orientation;
3) concentration of attention, memory;
4) development of logic and speech;
5) stabilization of the emotional state;
6) development of creative (creative) abilities;
7) promotes the development of reflection (self-analysis) of the child;

Work with tactile sensationsis of enormous importance for the development of the child’s psyche. This kind of interaction with sand stabilizes the emotional state, develops fine motor skills, kinesthetic sensitivity, the child learns to listen to himself and articulate his feelings. This promotes the development of speech, voluntary attention and memory. The child receives the first experience of reflection and self-analysis, and the basis is laid for the further development of positive communication skills.

Here's an example simple exercise to get acquainted with the sandbox: the psychologist and the child take turns making handprints and describing their sensations from touching the sand. At first, the child does not have enough vocabulary to describe his feelings, then an adult comes to his aid and together they do a few more exercises:

- sliding your palms along the surface of the sand: zigzag and circular movements (like cars, snakes, a tail, a rope, etc.),

The same movements are performed with the edge of the palm,

Walk along the surface of the sand with each finger in turn and at the same time, talk about how the sensation differs from wet sand and dry sand,

Gradually, accumulating his sensory experience, the child will learn to convey his sensations in words.

Thus, it becomes possible to prepare the child for learning, relying on auditory, visual and tactile-kinesthetic perception.

Projective games -This is a transfer to the outside of the child’s experiences, skills, and capabilities.

The classes use elements of fairy tale therapy and art therapy - this helps reduce anxiety, which is especially important for children caught in V difficult social situation.

In sand therapy there are many yet to be discovered opportunities, both educational and correctional, opportunities for both the child and the psychologist. Working out in the sandbox, we make amazing discoveries together and learn from each other.

The cycle consists of 17 individual lessons, the duration of one lesson is from 20 to 30 minutes,aimed at relieving anxiety and psychophysical stress, updating emotions, developing perception, tactile sensations, attention, memory, verbal-logical thinking. If necessary, you can increase the number of sessions through additional exercises. The program is designed for children of preschool and primary school age. The level of difficulty may vary depending on the child's cognitive development level.

"My Sand World"

Lesson 1.

Introducing the sandbox:

Speaking out the sensations that arise during manipulations with sand. Creating a sand composition. Discussion.

Lesson 2.

Development of tactile sensations, increase in vocabulary in the process of generalizing sensory experience.

"My Sand World"The child himself creates a picture from sand and water, and with the help of leading questions he expresses his feelings.

Lesson 3.

Development of self-awareness, reduction of anxiety, aggressiveness, emotional self-regulation, gaming activity.

"My fairytale". The teacher asks in different ways to “say hello to the sand,” that is, different ways touch the sand. The child describes and compares his sensations: “warm - cold”, “pleasant - unpleasant”, “prickly, rough”, etc. Teach children to use their fingers to depict different moods in the sand.

Lesson 4

Development of the ability to use resource states; stress relief,

establishment psychological comfort, positive emotional state.

Development of self-regulation skills.

"The Land of Our Feelings"An adult invites the child to draw his fear on a wet and flat sand surface. Then water the drawing until what is drawn disappears (is not “washed off”) and again - a clean, smooth surface, the fear has disappeared. In the place where the fear was drawn, the child creates a “fun picture” from the material and figures that he chose.

The adult asks the child to fashion his offender out of sand, and then destroy the figurine and fill it with water. Then take the chosen figurine of the offender and bury it in the sand (but we are not burying the offender, but our anger and bitterness towards him). That's it - there are no negative emotions and experiences, which means the “offender” will no longer offend. At the end of the work, the child levels the surface of the sandbox.

Lesson 5

Familiarization with the outside world, development of thinking, speech, motor skills.

“Whether in the garden or in the vegetable garden”With a wave of a magic wand, one sandbox turns into an orchard, the other into a vegetable garden. The child is encouraged to plant a garden. After completing the task, the children tell what grows where. An adult asks the child to describe vegetables and fruits by shape, color, taste.

Lesson 6

Development of attention and visual memory.

"What changed?"In the sandbox, figures are laid out in a certain order. Time is given to memorize the figures. The child leaves the office or turns away, the location of one figure changes first, if the child does not have difficulty detecting changes, the location of a larger number of figures changes. At the end of the lesson, the task is given to remember how the figures were located at the very beginning.

Lesson 7

Development of voluntariness. "Switching places"The task is given to look carefully at the figures laid out in a row. Then the instructions: “Swap the places of the rhinoceros and the fox, remove the dog, and put a monkey in its place.” You can play this way, gradually complicating the rules. Then the psychologist changes places with the child and follows his instructions. At the end of the lesson, it is discussed which role was more interesting to be in.

Lesson 8

Development of imagination and thinking. "I create the world."In this lesson, without the help of an adult, the child himself creates a world in the sand, populates it with heroes, talks about their lives and characters.

Lesson 9

Development of imagination and thinking. Emotional release.

"One day…" Instructions: “In the world created in the last lesson (the picture is not clear) something happened.” The work begins with the words “one day...”. Then the child himself comes up with a way out of the situation he himself invented. If necessary, you can ask leading questions and offer to introduce characters. During the discussion, it becomes clear what character qualities the heroes needed to get out of the situation.

Lesson 10

Development of perception of the duration of a time interval

"Minute" The child is shown an hourglass or a clock with a second hand. After he follows the movement and determines what a minute is, ask him to turn away and sit for a minute. When, in his opinion, a minute has passed, he must report it. Next, it is proposed to complete tasks in a minute, for example:

Cut a strip out of paper

Build a slide in the sand,

Bring a figurine from the table and place it in the sandbox, etc.

The exercise can be repeated in subsequent classes to form and consolidate the perception of the duration of a time interval.

Lesson 11

Development of the concept of parts of the day, attention

“Who is the earliest?”The task is given to select the figures and place them in the sandbox according to the principle of “who gets up first.” Morning can be symbolized by a rooster or a cow, day by a dog, evening by a cat, night by an owl or others. During the course of the activity, discussions are held:

How is the sun positioned at different times of the day?

What other signs of the time of day do we know?

What story happened to our characters?

What happens if you mix up the time of day?

Lesson 12,13,14,15

Development of spatio-temporal representation, imagination.

"Seasons". At each lesson, the task is given to create a picture of one of the seasons in the sand. For example, “winter”. To create a picture you can use various materials. During the work, issues related to the idea of this time of year are discussed, for example:

What are the main signs of winter?

What are the winter months?

Which countries are especially cold in winter, and which are warm?

Does it always snow in winter?

What story could happen in our sandbox at this time of year? Etc.

Lesson 16

Development of arbitrariness, ability to follow rules

"Get Out of the Maze"A labyrinth is drawn on the sand and a figurine is placed in the center. The task is to get the figure out of the maze as quickly as possible, while observing the rules:

  1. do not lift the figurine from the sand
  2. start moving immediately, without trying to preview the route ahead.
  3. do not destroy the walls of the labyrinth,
  4. don't turn back.

Exit time is 1 minute, for training you can come up with more complex options each time.

The child can come up with a labyrinth himself.

You can supplement the lesson with the “minute” exercise.

Lesson 17

Reflective part

"My Sand World"The task is that the child is asked to remember what we did in class, talk about what he liked, what was difficult, and then transfer his impressions to the sand picture, creating his own sand world from any figures, labyrinths, seasons , or something else.

"Sand Fantasies"

Explanatory note

Since childhood, playing with sand has become one of the most favorite games for almost all children. What could be more natural than a child playing in a sandbox? And there is not a parent who would not buy their child molds, buckets and scoops for sand. The sandbox also becomes one of the first places for the baby to communicate and play together with other children. Interacting with sand, like any game, promotes a child’s motor and cognitive development. Playing with sand is a very enjoyable and creative activity, almost always associated with creating something. Art therapists paid attention to it and found out that playing with sand has extensive potential in the field of psychotherapy. This is how sand therapy appeared.

Sand therapy is a private method of art therapy (creativity psychology), aimed at providing psychological/psychotherapeutic assistance through interaction with sand. It can be used separately, combined with other techniques and directions, and can also be used individual elements sand therapy in psychological counseling. Sand therapy is effective for children, adolescents and even adults. The principle of modern sand therapy was proposed by the outstanding psychologist K.G. Jung, and therefore for a long time this direction developed mainly due to the research and efforts of followers of the Jungian school. Sand therapy for children allows the child to truly express a problem that, due to his age, he is not able to verbalize and explain. In addition, interaction with sand itself has a calming effect and helps to optimize and stabilize the emotional state.

In many cases, playing with sand acts as a leading method of corrective action (as, for example, when a child has emotional and behavioral disorders of a neurotic nature). In other cases - as aid, allowing you to stimulate the child, develop his sensorimotor skills, reduce emotional stress, etc. You can often use the sandbox as a psycho-prophylactic, developmental tool.

The use of sand therapy is most suitable for working with preschool children. Preschoolers with mental retardation are especially in need of such therapy. The leading characteristics of such preschoolers include weak emotional stability, impaired self-control in all types of activities, aggressive behavior and its provocative nature, difficulties in adapting to the children's group, fussiness, frequent mood swings, feelings of fear, mannerisms, familiarity towards adults.

The proposed technique can be very useful for them. Nonverbal expression using a variety of objects, sand, water, as well as constructive and plastic materials is most natural for them, which becomes especially significant if the child has certain speech disorders.

Violations mental health are associated not only with somatic diseases, but also with various unfavorable environmental and stress factors that directly affect the psyche and are stimulated by social conditions, which confirms the influence of the immediate environment on the child’s health and his emotional well-being.
There is a need to create and develop a holistic set of tools, techniques and methods, the combination of which would effectively enhance the child’s motor and cognitive development and help relieve stress.

Many years of observations and experience of teachers prove that playing in the sand has a positive effect on the emotional well-being of children and adults and is an excellent psychoprophylactic remedy.

Today sand therapy- no less famous psychotherapeutic technique along with such as fairytale therapy , drawing , working with plasticine and clay, music therapy etc. However, compared to other forms art therapy, sand therapy characterized by simplicity of actions, repeated repetition and creation of plots, the possibility of reconstruction sand composition.

Playing with sand and toys is a natural activity for a child, so completing tasks brings him, in addition to new knowledge, also pleasure. This means that research interest develops, which serves as the basis for cognitive activity and the desire to learn.

K.D. Ushinsky wrote: “The most best toy for children - a lot of sand! A child's play with sand has been known since ancient times and is one of the most favorite types of creative activity for children. Using sand therapy methods when working with children is the most accessible and natural way of development and self-therapy.

There are a huge number of unusual ways and techniques of drawing, but sand painting is fascinating. Sand is a material that attracts. Its flowability attracts both children and adults. Parapsychologists say that sand takes away negative mental energy, and the touch of sand stabilizes the emotional state.

By organizing special conditions so that the child can use sand to play out his fears, pent-up aggression and other unexpressed feelings, and learn to find a constructive way out of conflict situations.

A light table for sand painting is a small model of the surrounding world, a place where the internal battles and conflicts of a small person can play out in the outside world. And by expressing them outwardly and looking at his inner world from the outside, the child playfully finds solutions to very real life problems. This happens due to the fact that at each lesson your child repeatedly creates a drawing from sand - erases it - creates a new one - and again and again... thanks to which the fear of mistakes, self-doubt, doubts goes away - this gives the child the realization that everything may pass, end, and in the place of the old, gone, a new one will begin, which means there is no point in being afraid of this big and yet such an unfamiliar life - you can be sure that he will cope!

In addition, the material itself - sand - has unique property ground negative emotions, which, as if “going through the sand,” thereby harmonize the human condition.

Purpose of the program: stabilization of the child’s psycho-emotional state, development of tactile sensations.

Program objectives:

Development of cognitive processes (perception, attention, memory, figurative and logical thinking, spatial imagination, speech).

Development of self-regulation processes;

Development of the sensory-perceptual sphere,

Formation of the child’s creative potential;

Train fine motor skills of the hands;

Develop a positive attitude towards yourself.

Reduced anxiety and psychophysical stress

Methods and techniques of sand therapy:

1. Research, practical activities, including work with handouts (scoops, molds, brushes), elements of experimentation, observation.

2. Game activity (playing out situations (“sand storm”, “heavy rain”, staging, elements of theatricality).

3. Verbal methods - conversations, the teacher’s story, reading works of literature (poems, fairy tales), the use of folklore genre (rhymes, jokes).

4. Visual methods (showing toys, looking at paintings and illustrations, modeling).

5. Relaxation.

6.Concentration.

7. Functional music.

8. Fairytale therapy.

Forms of work:

1. Story games - “Let’s build a path (house, fence)”, “Mouse holes”. Having mastered a simple construction, we give a complication using waste material(sticks, grass, planks, handkerchiefs, etc.).

2. Fun games - “Find an object”, “Dig up a surprise”, “Hide it, and I will look”, “Unusual traces”.

3. Didactic games-exercises - “Patterns on the sand”, “We create the world”.
4. Telling fairy tales - we sculpt heroes or draw a fairy tale on the sand with a stick and accompany the story.

5. Dramatization: “Dirty Girl,” “Let’s Bake Pies.”
6. We read in the sand - we first make molds of animals or objects, and then show them to the children and read a poem, for example, from A. Barto’s “Toys” cycle.

7. Drawing with sand - take well-dried and sifted sand into your palm or pour it into a bag with a corner cut off and draw a picture along the finished contour.

8. Construction - we use the “flow” method (semi-liquid sand is poured gradually into a certain “Sand Castle” shape).

9. Immersion days are organized, for example, “Sand Day”; themed holidays: “Sand Festival”, “New Molds Festival”, etc.

The sandbox is an attractive environment for implementing a fairytale therapy approach. For activities with children, tasks and games are selected in a fairy-tale form. For example: "Fences". (Children make fences in a circle with their hands; behind such a fence you can hide a bunny from the evil gray wolf). At the same time, negative assessment of the child’s actions and results is completely eliminated and imagination and creativity are encouraged to the maximum.

Program "Sand Fantasies" designed for 1 year, for children from 4 to 7 years old. Classes are held for children once a week. Individually with a child or with a small subgroup of 3-4 people. Lesson duration is 20-25 minutes.

Predicted results:

1. The child’s communication difficulties are relieved, fears, tics, obsessions and other disorders disappear

2. Behavior is corrected (removal of aggression).

3. The development of fine motor skills and cognitive processes is improved.

4. The child will learn to explore his own feelings and desires;

5. The child will gain experience in effective communication with peers;

6. The child will learn to cope with difficult situations using his internal resources;

7. The child will expand his knowledge about emotions and learn to understand the emotional state of other people.

Try to compose a fairy tale with him.

5. “At grandma’s in the village”

An adult, in a playful way, introduces the child to spatial concepts (or consolidates knowledge): “top - bottom”, “right - left”, “above - below”, “from behind - from under”, “center, corner”. The child, according to the adult’s verbal instructions, “walks, jumps, crawls” on the sand with his fingers, depicting various characters.

6. "Poultry yard"

1 “Hello, sand!”

Leading. The Sand Fairy wants to show children and their toys many interesting games in the sand world. Let's say hello to our new friend - sand.

For a description of the exercise, see the section “Games and activities with dry sand.”

Sandbox game rules
for babies

At this stage, it is advisable to introduce the child to the rules of behavior in the sandbox (the younger the children, the shorter the rules). Since some of the sand usually spills out of the sandbox when playing, you need to draw the child’s attention to this fact.

Leading. The sand fairy was sad because her sand friends were lost and could not return home to the sandbox. The sand fairy asks you, baby:

1. Take care of grains of sand - do not throw them out of the sandbox. If sand accidentally spills out, show it to an adult and he will help them get back into the sandbox. You cannot throw sand out of the sandbox.

2. Sand grains really don’t like being put in the mouth or thrown at other children. You cannot put sand in your mouth and throw it at other people.

3. The sand fairy loves when children have clean hands and noses. Play with the sand - wash your hands and show your clean palms to the mirror.

Ritual of “exit” from the Sand Country

Look at our palms -
They have become wiser!
Thank you, our dear sand,
You helped us become bolder!

2. “Sand patterns”

Since wet sand produces clearer patterns and paths, they can be used in classification games. For example, only people walk along a wavy path, only cars drive along a straight path, and only birds sit on a fence - the child selects the necessary figures or pictures and places them on the indicated path. Subsequently, you can develop the plot and compose a mini-fairy tale “Who, where, why and what happened?” You can draw fairly clear faces on wet sand, teaching your child graphic ways of indicating human emotions: joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise.

3. “Who came to us?”

The child turns away, the adult makes bas-relief/high-relief prints using the molds, then the child guesses the mold the adult used. Then they change roles. The molds are first inspected and felt, and their contours are outlined. To complicate the task, play with new molds without first feeling them.

4. “Unusual traces”

The bear cubs are coming” - the child presses forcefully onto the sand with his fists and palms.

“Hares are jumping” - the child hits the surface of the sand with his fingertips, moving in different directions.

“Snakes are crawling” - the child, with relaxed/tense fingers, makes the surface of the sand wavy (in different directions).

“Spiderbugs are running” - the child moves all his fingers, imitating the movement of insects (you can completely immerse your hands in the sand, meeting each other with your hands under the sand - “bugs say hello”).

“Crocazyable” - children leave a wide variety of traces in the sand, come up with a name for the fantastic animal that left such traces (later this animal can be drawn and made it an inhabitant of the sand country).

5. “Beads for Mom”
I will collect bead by bead onto a thread.
I know my gift will make you smile.
Mom will like him and she will love him back
He will say which is more beautiful beads not in the world!

The teacher offers to make beautiful beads for mommy

6. “Funny palms”

The teacher and the child leave prints of their hands and feet in the wet sand, and then finish drawing them or add pebbles to create funny faces, fish, octopuses, birds, etc.

7. "Gold Diggers"

Children, together with an adult, draw a diagram map with conventional images of a tree, river, mountains, forest, houses. The child builds a sand picture according to this scheme. The child is asked to turn away, while the adult hides secrets in various parts of the picture. A dot is placed on the diagram map in the place where the secrets are hidden. The child turns and looks for secrets, following the map and diagram. The game can be made more difficult. The child hides the secrets himself and marks their location on the map. The adult is looking for it.

8. “Throw a pebble into the hole”

A small group of children stands or sits in a semicircle at a distance of 2.5 meters from the sandbox. The teacher invites the child to take a pebble from the box, indicates how to stand at a distance of 1 meter from the box, and offers to throw the pebble into it. If the stone does not hit the target, he suggests throwing it again, but standing closer.

Exercise 8. "Pour sand through a funnel"

The teacher leads a group of children (no more than 8 people) to the sandbox. Hands out bottles, buckets, and molds to children. Shows how sand is poured through a funnel, how it is poured from a bucket into a mold. Then he pours some of the sand, mixes it with a scoop and shows that wet sand cannot be poured, but it can be sculpted into different shapes. The teacher shows the children how to fill the mold, press the sand with their fingers or a scoop, tip the mold onto the side of the sandbox, and decorate the “pie” or “cake.”

4. “My fairy tale”

Goal: familiarization with the outside world, development of thinking, speech, motor skills.

1. "Holiday Decorations"

An adult, using a finger, the edge of his palm, or a brush in the upper part of the sandbox, draws various geometric shapes (in accordance with age standards for mastery). Children decorate the figures with various small objects.

2. “Secret mission for the mole”

Sand fairy. Today our hands can turn into moles. Like this. (The adult waves his hands and folds them like a duck, showing the child the eyes, nose and two teeth drawn on his knuckles.) Do you want to turn your hands into moles? I need to help my mole complete an important secret mission underground. (At the child’s request, the adult carefully draws a nose and eyes on the child’s knuckles). Well, why are we plunging into the sand? Look and do like my mole.

The adult plunges one hand into the sand, moves it under the sand (draws the child's attention to changes in the surface of the sand), and then carefully digs out each finger. Then the child does the same. After that, they dig out each other’s hands (you can blow on the sand, use a feather, sticks, brushes).

Option: carry out all actions with your eyes closed - look for each other’s fingers in the sand, shake them (the moles greet each other affectionately or shake each other’s paws forcefully).

3. “Paintings on the sand”

Development of children's creative potential.

4. "Sunshine"

The child draws a circle on the sand using any means and decorates it with various objects: pebbles, seeds, buttons, coins, beads. The child can give his “sand sun” a name.

5. “Fences”

The kid makes little fences in a circle with his hands. Behind such a fence you can hide a bunny from the evil one gray wolf. Or roll a truck along it.

6. “Mouse hole”

7. “Colored fences”

Counting sticks of different colors lie interspersed on the table. An adult asks a child to choose blue sticks from them and build a fence of blue color. Then use red sticks and build a red fence. You can invite your child to build one large fence, alternating sticks by color.

8. "Colored Carpet"

An adult draws a large square with his finger. Children decorate the “carpet” with various small objects.

5. “Experiments and experiments with sand”

Goal: to give children an understanding of the properties of sand, to develop fine motor skills, imagination, and coordination of movements.

1 "Games with a sieve"

The teacher shows how to sift sand through a sieve. The game will become more interesting if, while sifting through the sand, the child finds small toy figures (for example, from Kinder Surprise).

2. “Properties of wet sand”

The teacher shows how you can play with wet sand (we make buns, pies, Easter cakes)

3. "Wet Pebbles"

Games with water and pebbles (examining patterns on pebbles)

4. “Amazing pattern”

Since wet sand produces clearer patterns and paths, they can be used in classification games. For example, only people walk along a wavy path, only cars drive along a straight path, and only birds sit on a fence - the child selects the necessary figures or pictures and places them on the indicated path. Subsequently, you can develop the plot and compose a mini-fairy tale “Who, where, why and what happened?”

1. Exercise « Sand rain»

Progress of the exercise.

Sand Fairy: “In my country there may be something unusual going on. sand rain and sand wind blow. It is very nice. You can make such rain and wind yourself. Watch how it happens":

1. Baby pours slowly or quickly sand from your fist to sandbox, in the palm of an adult (on your palm).

2. The child closes his eyes and lays down sand palm with fingers spread, adult pours sand on any finger, and the child names this finger. Then they switch roles.

2Exercise « sand wind» (Breathing exercise).

1. Children learn to control inhalation and exhalation without delaying sand in a tube. You can offer to say a pleasant wish to your friends, give wishes sandy country, "Blowing him out sand» . They can also blow out depressions and pits on the surface of the sand. For these games you will need disposable cocktail straws.

2. This exercise can be combined with aromatherapy(however aromatherapy psychologists who have undergone certain training in this area have the right to use). The child inhales the smell on purpose selected aromatic mixture for her (tonic or relaxing). When exhaling, the child easily blows sand onto his palms, blowing it into sandbox.

3. Exercise "Winner of Anger"

In a stressful situation, adults talk to each other, and sometimes children: “Don’t be angry, don’t be capricious, pull yourself together”. In most cases, this advice is completely meaningless, since the ban on the manifestation of negative emotions only causes a person to have additional irritation and aggression towards such an adviser, and increases the feeling of guilt for bad behavior.

A game "Winner of Anger" can teach a child to deal with anger painlessly for his pride, without fear of punishment for destructive behavior.

4. Sand Fairy:

“Today we will talk about mood. How does it happen for you? What happens to you when you are angry, angry? What do adults say and do when you are angry? (Students' answers).

Your angry mood makes you do and say things that make your teachers or parents angry and upset. And after the anger has passed, you also feel sad or unpleasant. I'll open it for you secret: Every big and small person has the right to be angry. There are many games that teach us "it's right to be angry", that is, in such a way as not to offend others. One of these games will be given to you by a wet sand. See how you can use sand to sculpt and see your own anger, and then defeat it.

If the child’s tension is too great, then in this case you can offer him to squeeze with force. sand, compact the surface of the sand with your fists, etc.

And then, the child makes a ball out of wet sand, on which they mark with indentations or draw eyes, nose, mouth: “Your anger now lives in this ball”. This process temporarily switches the child, and the child also transfers his negative feelings and guilt for bad behavior, thoughts, and feelings onto the sculpted ball. The student can comment on the entire manufacturing process "Shara - the villain", to which all are assigned as a result "evil thoughts and actions".

Then the child destroys in any way sand ball, sentencing « magic spell» : « Let's drive away the anger, we invite joy". The child gives vent to aggression, which usually appears when it is prohibited and controlled by an adult, and the student also receives specific pleasure from destruction.

After this, the child slowly levels the surface of the sand with his hands and leaves imprints of his palms on it - calming, gaining balance and control over his own feelings: “I conquered my anger. I am calm". If desired, the student can decorate their handprints in the sand.

5. Game "Goodbye, sand» !

The psychologist asks on behalf of the fairy “gently, and then say goodbye strongly to the sand”, that is different ways touch the sand.

Psychologist: “Now please say hello to sand in different ways»:

The child touches the sand alternately with the fingers of one hand, then with the other hand, then with all fingers at the same time.

The child easily squeezes the sand into his fists with tension, then slowly pours it into the sandbox.

The child touches the sand with his entire palm - the inner, then the outer side.

The child is rubbing sand between toes, palms. In the latter case, you can enter surprise moment- hide a small flat toy in the sand “one of the inhabitants of the sand wanted to say hello to you”.

Sand also wants in return "to say goodbye" with baby. Sandy rain! The psychologist takes his fist sand and slowly pours it into the child's hands. Sandy can"say hello" with each finger separately - then the psychologist pours sand on individual fingers.

In order to diversify the game, you can invite the children to close their eyes and put them on sand palm with fingers spread; psychologist spills sand on any finger, and the child, closing his eyes, names this finger. Children can change roles and tell each other sand guessing finger.

This game will help teach your child ordinal counting.

You will need kinetic sand and a small toy, for example from a kinder surprise.

We make several piles of sand and hide a toy in one of them. The child needs to find it using a hint adult: “Look in the third pile on the right” or "Fifth from the left". Afterwards, you can invite your child to hide the toy himself and tell you how to find it.

Gradually increase the number of piles.

7."Treasure map".

This game will help your child master such a difficult task as drawing maps; it also promotes the development of spatial thinking and imagination.

To play you will need sandbox with kinetic space sand, a set of small toys, paper, felt-tip pen, pencil or pen.

First, the psychologist, together with the child, draws a diagram map where houses, trees, rivers, roads, and the like are conventionally designated. Next, the child independently builds sand composition using a drawn map. When everything is built, the baby turns away, and the adult hides the toys in different places. sandy compositions and marks the places with crosses on the map "treasures". At the end of the game, the child searches for objects in the kinetic sand using a map.

A possible version of the game is where the child draws a card and hides it. "hidden treasures", and is looking for adults.

8."Guess a riddle".

After that, he turns away, and you remove one of the toys. When the baby turns around, he must find and name who is missing. By analogy, you can make a fairy forest out of sand, magic garden, flower field and more.

10. Game "Unusual Traces".

The child presses with his palms and fists sand, hits its surface with your fingertips, moves your hands in different directions, makes the surface wavy, moves all your fingers at the same time - the goal is to imitate the tracks of animals, reptiles, birds and insects.

11. Game "Find the Difference".

The child draws any simple picture on the surface of the sand, then shows it to an adult, while he turns away. The adult completes some details and shows what he got. image of a child. The child should notice what has changed in the picture. An adult and a child can change roles during the game.

Snakes played in the sand

There is no way to read the letters!

And they wrote words with their tail,

How can she find out about the snakes?

Loops followed the pattern

What's happened? Where? And How?

And the mother snake is sad: Good power magic

15. Game "Builders"

Very often During the game, children create various sand sculptures and buildings from sand (in addition, you can use special molds, now when using this sand sand the castles will be colorful, the fish and sea creatures will be colorful, like in the real sea, and colorful butterflies will flutter in the spring meadow.

Ask: “Who are you, what is your name?”, “What do you like to do?”, “What don’t you like?”, “What are you like?” If the child does not join the conversation, speak the dialogue yourself. At the same time, it is important to emphasize that the hands are good, they know how to do a lot (list what exactly, but sometimes they do not obey their owner. You need to end the game by “concluding an agreement” between the hands and their owner. Let the hands promise that within 2-3 days (this evening or, in the case of working with hyperactive children, an even shorter period of time) they will try to do only good affairs: make crafts, say hello, play and will not offend anyone.

If the child agrees to such conditions, then after a predetermined period of time it is necessary to play this game again and conclude an agreement for a longer period, praising the obedient hands and their owner.
