DIY shabby chic style Christmas tree

Let's make this amazingly beautiful and original craft V fashionable style shabby chic.

Necessary materials.

For the base, take a large paper glass or any plastic dishes. Separately, dilute alabaster or gypsum with water to the thickness of liquid sour cream and pour it into the future pot. We secure the trunk of our tree, plant the branch in the center and fix it in this position until it hardens.

We make a cone out of cardboard using a stapler.

We make the top of the spruce from wire and foam rubber.

We connect the top to the trunk and attach the cone.

We wrap the base of the tree with white fur.

We cut off the excess from below.

Then we bend the ends of the burlap inward and attach it with hot glue.

Let's get to the fun part - decorating our Christmas tree in shabby chic style.

To create the finished composition we will need a stand.

We make a bench from a bamboo napkin.

From white fur - a snowman.

We attach a bell to the top of the spruce.

We decorate the New Year tree with beads, pearls, flowers, lace, etc.

Apply transparent glue to the very top of the tree.

And sprinkle with artificial snow.

We do the same with the bench.

Decorative Christmas tree made from napkins

We will make it from cardboard and single-layer napkins. You will also need beads for decoration.

First of all, let's build a frame for our Christmas tree. We roll a cone out of cardboard, fasten it (I stitched it with thread) and cut off the bottom of the cone exactly so that it can stand.

The base is ready, put it aside for now. Now let's move on to napkins. We will make roses from them. Single-layer plain paper napkins are suitable for us.

Take a napkin and cut it along the folds. Then we fold it in three and cut along the folds again.

We fold the resulting strips in three and cut them again. We got a square equal to 1/9 of a napkin.

We fasten this square in the center with a stapler.

Then cut a circle out of it. Mega-precision and accuracy are not required here at all; the finished rose can be slightly adjusted with scissors.

This way a rose is formed. If the finished rose seems uneven to you, you can trim it with scissors.

The number of such flowers depends on the size of your cardboard cone. My Christmas tree was 21cm high and I needed 59 roses for it.

When all the flowers are ready, we return to the cone. Starting from the top of the head, glue the flowers onto the cone so that the base is not visible. I glued it with hot glue (it’s more convenient for me), but ordinary PVA will do.

I made a Christmas tree out of napkins of two colors. If you also decide to create your own craft from multi-colored roses, then you can safely experiment with alternating them on a cone. If the result does not suit you, you can always tear off the flower and re-glue it to another place. In this case, only the lower layer of the flower will be damaged. We simply tear it off (the bottom layer). The rosette will not lose its appearance.

So, we glued the flowers to the cone. The Christmas tree itself is ready and you can stop at this stage.

I also decorated it with beads - I glued it with the same hot glue, PVA won’t help here.

Christmas tree made of plasticine with candies

What do we all associate with a wonderful holiday? New Year? With the smell of pine needles, bright lights, garlands, sweets. And children still create unusual crafts with your own hands, thereby bringing closer the pleasant moment of the onset of a fabulous night. They love creativity lessons on this topic most of all. It is in crafts that you can realize any fantasies.

We suggest making an elegant Christmas tree that can be easily decorated with candies. Make a craft from plasticine - the cheapest and most popular material. You will definitely do beautiful souvenir, if you follow our tips, they are not difficult.

To sculpt a Christmas tree with your own hands, prepare:

  • green plasticine for the crown;
  • stump in the form of a cap or an empty spool of thread;
  • toothpick, red and white plasticine for candy.

Select a green block of plasticine from the set. The body of the Christmas tree itself will be made from it, and in the future we will make small candies as toys. Of course, a small souvenir does not have to be green; another color that you choose will do. If you manage to find a set on sale that contains a gold bar, then this option will look rich.

Knead the entire prepared block thoroughly in your hands and prepare for further work. It is necessary to form a cone-shaped crown, and not quite the usual flat one, but a curved one, similar to the cap of a fairy-tale gnome. Since we are talking about magical holiday, then it is not forbidden to fantasize and create something incredible.

Pull all the soft plasticine into a long cone. Make the upper part as sharp as possible, press the lower part around the circumference with your fingers, showing the skirt. Then take and bend the entire structure to the side. Sometimes the Christmas trees do not stretch up perfectly straight, but lean to the side like this.

For modeling Christmas tree decorations– small candies – use white and red plasticine. Form red round tablets (the inner part of the candy), as well as white triangles (the twisted part of the candy wrappers).

Glue delicious candies together. Stick on each red round white dot and press in the center with a toothpick. Glue the triangular pieces on the sides.

Make enough decorative details to fill the entire surface of the Christmas tree, evenly distributing the candies around the circumference at some distance.

Glue all the resulting blanks to the crown. Beautiful New Year's craft it's almost ready. Press down a small lid - a stump - from below (or mold it from plasticine).

And the top is still missing. She just begs to be added to the resulting fairytale Christmas tree. Come up with some option, for example the same spruce branches in combination with red berries. All this looks festive and bright.

This is such a fantastic Christmas tree. This is an elegant version of a craft for the New Year, which will be an excellent gift for your favorite holiday.

The New Year is just around the corner - you need to hurry up to get everything done.

DIY felt Christmas tree

Let's make Christmas trees out of felt - it's great Christmas decoration and perfect for school or kindergarten.

Prepare for them:

  • Set of colored felt;
  • cotton wool;
  • glue "Moment" transparent;
  • any beads;
  • threads for knitting and sewing;
  • a needle;
  • scissors;
  • felt-tip pen.

Select matching colors felt. These can be different shades of green. Or you can show your imagination and make an unusual red or blue spruce. Fold a couple of sheets of felt together and draw the shape of a fir tree on the top one.

Cut a piece of felt with a pattern along its entire length and fold it in half as shown in the photo. We do this only if the felt is not very thick, otherwise it will be difficult to cut 4 layers at once.

Cut 4 blanks into shape.

To give them a bulge, put a little cotton wool, as shown in the photo.

Lubricate the edges of the workpiece with glue.

Cut a piece of knitting thread and attach it to the top of the workpiece, directly on the glue. It can be hung from it. Attach the second piece and press along the edge so that both parts stick together.

On a light Christmas tree, make stitches with threads of a darker green color. This will add originality to the craft.

Decorate the second with a border of pearl beads. To do this, make a layer of glue along the edge and place beads on it.

Now let your little one decorate them however he or she wishes. After drying, the craft is ready for use.

Such simple craft will be a great decoration for your Christmas tree. It can be given to grandparents. Older children will be able to do it completely on their own. Using this principle, you can make any felt decorations. Whatever your imagination suggests.

Christmas tree toy made from pasta

Of course, you can’t do without a Christmas tree. Some will install a real forest beauty, others will install an artificial one. But besides the big hero of the occasion, you can also make several small Christmas trees and place them in the rooms. Let the holiday be felt throughout the house!

You can make a Christmas tree at home from any material, from sweets to books. Today we will talk about how to make a New Year's symbol from paper. Simply put, take scissors, glue, paints... and get started.

Using colored paper You can make a Christmas tree of various modifications, from flat to voluminous. Yes, even a whole forest of spruce!)

This beauty is very easy to make! We will need a sheet of colored paper or cardboard and scissors. Cut out a square and bend it as shown in the picture.

And the final stage:

New Year's decor is ready!

And the simplest option is to cut out two identical blanks from colored paper. After that, we bend them lengthwise and glue them together. The result is a tree like this. Decorate it to your liking.

Another easy option. We make a cone out of colored paper, decorate it and get a stylized Christmas tree.

Another simple option for making a stylized Christmas tree. Cut out a triangle from paper. We take a suitable wooden stick, it will be a tree trunk.

We attach a base to the trunk so that the future tree stands vertically, for example, a cork or a piece of plasticine. Now we string the paper onto a stick, like a sail on a ship. And here is the result.

Is it truly original and wonderful?

Making a Christmas tree from corrugated paper with your own hands step by step

For this craft you will need corrugated paper and cardboard. You can choose paper of any color to make New Year's decor unusual and compatible with your interior.

Watch in this video a master class of 5 options step-by-step production Christmas trees made of corrugated paper for the New Year 2019:

Now let’s describe the manufacturing process in a few words and photographs.

We cut out a sector from cardboard - two quarters of a circle and glue it into a cone.

The cone will serve as the trunk of the future Christmas tree.

Now let's start creating an analogue of branches and needles. There are several ways you can go here. You can make Christmas tree branches in the form of a belt around a cone. To do this, cut a strip of paper about five centimeters wide and long enough to completely go around the cone. We thread a thread along the inner edge of the strip that will be adjacent to the cone, stepping back half a centimeter from the edge. After this, roll the strip into a circle.

We make several such circles, and they should all be different in size - one smaller than the other. After all, they will fit on a cone like rings on a pyramid: first a large ring, then a smaller one, etc. So we put them on the cone. It turns out something like a “skirt”.

To prevent the rings from falling off, glue them to the cone. As a result, we get such a beautiful Christmas tree.

Instead of a cone, you can use a wooden rod on which we string circles made of paper.

We make the circles ourselves as follows. Take a strip of paper and fold it into an accordion shape. We fix it in the middle with a thread.

After that, we fan it out.

Now take the two halves and glue them together to make a circle. We also make circles of different sizes.

We string them onto the rod, starting with the largest and ending with the smallest. The result is a Christmas tree.

The process is more labor-intensive than previous options, but the result is wonderful.

How to make a Christmas tree from paper napkins

Christmas tree from paper napkins looks very nice. Here, just as in the version described above, a cone is used as a base. However, roses made from napkins are glued onto it. As a result we get:

We take the napkins, put them in a pile and fasten them in the center with a stapler. After that, cut out a circle from them.

The first layer is crumpled towards the middle. Then we do the same with the next layer.

And in this way we make all the layers so that the result is a rose.

You will need to make a lot of these roses. How much is difficult to say. It all depends on the size of the base - the cone.

Now we glue the finished roses to the cone, starting from the base to the top. We decorate with beads and as a result we get a beautiful Christmas tree.

Christmas tree made of paper - options for making a paper tree

Here is an option for making a paper Christmas tree that is suitable for small children. The fact is that the Christmas tree is made from the contours of a child’s palm.

Roll a cone out of cardboard. Next, take a green sheet of paper and a child. He applies his palm, outlines it and cuts it out. You will need a lot of such palms. Now we take the cut out palms and glue them to the cone. It turned out to be a wonderful Christmas tree.

Continuing with the cone options:

As you can see, the cone is good in any form).

You can use wrapping paper.

How do you like this stylish little thing from old glossy magazines?

It is made easier than steamed turnips).

Another very simple applique style option that can be easily made by a child. Take a sheet of colored paper as a background. Next, we will need several sheets of different colors. We cut strips of paper from them about half a centimeter wide. Their lengths are different: the first one is long, each subsequent one is slightly shorter than the previous one. We cut them, now we glue them onto the background sheet. Glue a star on top. The craft is ready.

Below is a video that shows how to do Christmas trees from paper.

Christmas tree made from newspaper tubes

The Christmas tree can be made from any material. One of the simplest is a newspaper (although they are already disappearing from our lives). Tubes are rolled from it and then intertwined with each other. As a result, we get the following craft.

You can’t immediately tell that it was made from newspaper. The tubes can be painted in any color and the Christmas tree will be colored.

It all starts with what we do a large number of tubes. To do this, take a wooden stick and use it to twist a sheet of newspaper. Lubricate the edge with glue so that the tube does not unravel. We make a cone out of cardboard. We put it on a sheet of paper and start weaving. We glue the first row in the form of a pentagon.

Now we take the bottom tube and place it on top of the other. We take the next bottom one and put it on top again, and so on.

Thus, intertwining the tubes, we raise the “braid” to the very top.

We cut off the remaining long tubes at the end and attach a separately made star top.

The Christmas tree is ready. You can leave it white, or you can paint it.

There is another way of weaving:

And another model of the Christmas tree:

Making a Christmas tree from origami modules according to the diagram

One of the options for making a Christmas tree is to make it using the origami technique. Of course, this option is somewhat more complicated than all those described earlier, but the result is very impressive.

First you need to make modules. To do this, use the following diagram.

Approximately 650 such modules need to be made for a Christmas tree 20 cm high. Done. Now we collect the branches of the Christmas tree. We fasten the modules as follows: In the first row - 2 modules, in the second - 1 module.

We assemble the third row by attaching two more modules to the corners of the second row module. We insert it into the pockets located nearby, as a result the outer corners will stick out to the sides.

We assemble the twig, alternating first one, then two modules in each row.

We make either five or ten such branches. The splendor of the Christmas tree depends on their number. Now we glue the branches together, forming a circle.

You need to make several such circles. Depends on the height of the tree. For the trunk we use a wooden skewer or stick. We stick it into an eraser, plasticine, polystyrene foam - whatever is at hand.

Now we put the finished Christmas tree circles on a skewer. Glue the first row to the base. Then each subsequent row is glued to the previous one.

Having collected the entire Christmas tree, we make decorations for it. Below is a diagram of the assembly of another version of the Christmas tree from ready-made modules.

How to make a voluminous Christmas tree out of paper at home

Below are some pretty interesting options making a three-dimensional Christmas tree. The first option is that the Christmas tree is made from paper strips folded with ribbon and placed on a stick-trunk. We collect according to this scheme.

In the second option we take Blank sheet paper: white or colored - green. We bend it in half and draw the contours of the Christmas tree. You can use these stencils.

Or like this.

For one Christmas tree - three stencils. Cut along the lines. After which all three blanks are glued together and we get Christmas trees like this.

And finally original version Christmas trees big size, which glows from within. To make it, you need cardboard boxes from which we make pyramids. We dress each other. We put a lamp inside. As a result, we get such an original design.

Below is a pattern diagram for Christmas tree pyramid modules.

With a minimum of materials, but a maximum of desire, you can make something like this:

Here is also a worthy decor option:

Here are very laconic and stylish Christmas trees:

5. Secure the entire structure with pins and wait for the glue to dry.

6. You have now created the first layer of the Christmas tree. Now you need to make a second layer in the same style. After gluing the second layer, leave the structure to dry.

7. Now remove the Christmas tree from the cone - the glue should quickly come away from the cellophane.

8. Place a garland inside the tree, which must be secured with floral wire.

9. All that remains is to decorate the Christmas tree to your liking.

DIY Christmas trees (photo). DIY pasta tree.

You will need:

A cone made of plastic or foam (or you can make it yourself from cardboard)

PVA glue

Pasta various forms and sizes

Spray paint, acrylic paint or gouache

Brush.

1. Prepare a cone and paint it the desired color. Wait for the paint to dry.

*If you are using spray paint, you can skip this step.

2. Prepare the pasta. Start applying glue to each piece and gluing the pieces to the cone. Design your Christmas tree as your imagination dictates.

After applying the glue, press the piece a little and hold it so that it sticks well to the cone. It's okay if the glue is visible from under the pasta.

Continue until you have covered the cone with pasta. Wait for the glue to dry.

3. Start adding color to the pasta. In this example, acrylic paint was used. Try to paint all the parts carefully so that there are no empty spots.

* It is advisable to paint in two layers.

* If you paint it with white paint, the Christmas tree will look like a porcelain product.

Helpful advice: If you want to remove the craft, then put it in a plastic bag first, so you can immediately find the part that might have come off the cone.

We make a Christmas tree with our own hands. Bright paper Christmas tree.

You will need:

Colored cardboard or designer paper

Thick cardboard

Glue moment or glue gun (with hot glue)

1. Cut a square base for the tree from thick cardboard.

2. Insert the skewer into the cardboard and secure with glue.

3. Now you need to cut out circles of different diameters from designer paper or colored cardboard. You need to make 3 circles of the same size.

For example, you want to make 10 circles different sizes, then you will need to cut out 30 circles (3 for each size).

*If you don't feel like cutting out a lot of circles, just shorten the skewer and you'll end up with a cute mini Christmas tree.

4. Make a small hole in the center of each circle.

5. Before you start putting the circles on the skewer, lubricate the hole in the middle with glue.

6. Start placing the circles on the skewer, leaving a little space between them.

7. Cut out stars from paper and attach them with glue to the top of the tree. You can use another part for the crown and not necessarily paper.

Crafts. DIY Christmas trees made from thread.

You will need:

Thick yarn

Yarn with pile

Cone (cardboard or foam)

Pins

Decorations, to taste.

1. Make a paper cone or buy a foam cone from specialized stores.

2. Take both strands and pin their ends at the base of the cone.

3. Start wrapping the threads around the base of the cone, securing with pins approximately every 5 cm.

4. Now start moving towards the top of the cone, carefully wrapping both threads around the future tree. At this stage there is no need to attach the thread to the cone.

5. When you have reached the crown, pin the threads again by wrapping the threads around the crown several times.

6. Both yarns now need to be pulled down, also wrapping the cone in a second layer.

7. At the base of the cone, cut the threads and secure them.

Creative DIY Christmas tree

If you want something original, or you just don't have enough space for... big Christmas tree At home, you can try to make such a simple design.

It is worth noting that such a Christmas tree is suitable for any room. It can be done both at home with children and at work.

This tree can rise 1.5-2 meters and takes up almost no space in the house. In addition, it is a good background for New Year's photography.

You will need:

Foam base or matte cardboard

Scissors

Corrugated paper

Masking tape

Adhesive tape

PVA glue

Stationery knife

Marker, optional

1. Lay out foam or cardboard on a flat surface to create a large rectangle (see picture).

2. Use duct tape to connect all the parts.

*This example used black duct tape for better visibility, but white tape is better.

3. Mark the size of your future Christmas tree using masking tape.

4. Using a utility knife, carefully cut out the shape of the future tree.

5. Prepare corrugated paper, fold it in half and cut the fringe. You should have many sheets of fringed paper to cover the entire tree.

6. Begin carefully gluing the corrugated paper to the foam, starting at the base of the tree. The fringe should hang slightly below the base to cover the foam (or cardboard), and also slightly cover the top of the tree trunk, which we will make later.

7. Work your way up to the top, covering the entire tree with a bright green coat of crepe paper.

8. Add a hook to the back of the tree so the tree can be hung. Instead of a hook, you can use double tape to cover the perimeter of the tree.
