To make a knitted heating pad you will need:

  • yarn of raspberry, beige, blue and yellow colors;
  • hook number 3.

Step-by-step creation of the torso:

Step 1. Take a crimson thread and knit a chain consisting of 55 in two folds air loops. Close the chain into a ring.

Step 2. From rows 1 to 16, knit with a single crochet stitch.

Step 3. From rows 17 to 41, also single crochet, but decrease 2 loops. Pull together the loops that remain with the working thread. Thread the end of the thread into the product.

To tie a scallop you need:

Step 1. Use yellow thread to knit 3 chain stitches and connect them into a ring. Knit 6 single crochets into the center of the ring. In each subsequent row, double each loop.

Step 2. Next, knit 4 rows with a single crochet. In the next six rows, decrease 1 stitch evenly. You will need to knit three of these pieces. To make the middle part of the scallop, you need to knit 3 air loops and connect them into a ring. Make 7 single crochets in the center.

Step 3. In the next row you will have to double each loop and knit 7 single crochets. In the next seven rows, remove 1 loop evenly.

Step 4. All three parts need to be combined with each other and knit 1 row with a single crochet. Sew the comb to the top of the cockerel's head.

Making the beak:

Step 1. Tie three air loops with blue thread and tie them into a ring. Knit 4 single crochets into the center of the ring.

Step 2. Now you should knit 9 single crochets, adding 1 loop in each row.

To make legs:

Step 1. Take a beige thread and make 3 air loops out of it, connecting them into a ring. In the center of the ring you need to knit 6 single crochets. In the next row you need to double each loop.

Step 3. Using the same principle, tie the second leg.

To make a flower you need:

Step 1. Make 4 air loops, then connect them into a ring. In the center of the ring, knit 10 single crochets.

Step 2. First row: single crochet, then 5 chain stitches (knit the next row through one loop).

Step 3. Second row: in each cell of the previous row you should knit 1 single crochet, 1 half crochet. double crochet, 1 half double crochet, single crochet.

Step 4. Using this principle, knit 3 flowers of beige, yellow and blue.

Step 5. Sew them to the body.

A diagram that will help you create a cockerel for a New Year's gift is presented in this article. The most important thing to remember is to use large beads. It will make your work even more beautiful and voluminous. And there won’t be such a hassle as with small “grains”.

To make a beaded cockerel you will need:

  • green, light green, red, blue, light blue, yellow and orange beads;
  • brass wire about 2 meters;
  • scissors or nippers.

To make this rooster, familiarize yourself with the parallel threading technique and the “toward” technique. First, start with the head, then move on to the body, at the same time, do not forget to weave in wire for future legs. Once you start creating the legs, you only need to thread the wire once. Don't forget to add wires for each feather. Make the blue or light blue feathers last.

If you strictly follow the diagram, you will get this wonderful rooster, from which you can make an excellent keychain.

This souvenir is very easy to make, you can even involve your children in making it. The creation process will captivate little creators and help them have a little fun. To knead the dough, it is better to use a mixer. This way you will get a soft, homogeneous mass that is pleasant to work with.

Salt dough recipe

Take 200 grams of flour and half a glass of salt (fine). Pour in 125 grams of water, stir. And add 20 grams of PVA glue.

First sculpt the head, beak, wings, tail and comb. After this, connect all the parts together, dry and paint as you wish. It is best to paint crafts with watercolors or gouache.

Creation Tips:

  • scallop - make a semicircle, cut and shape into a scallop, as shown in the photo;
  • beak - roll up a small carrot and cut in half;
  • eyes - form two small balls;
  • tail - make 4 drops, connect them together. Use a toothpick to draw feathers;
  • wings - roll up a drop, make slits in it.

You can glue the parts with water or glue.

This cute figurine can become not only a gift, but also a decoration for your holiday table.

Toy “Cockerel”

This small toy can be a wonderful gift for both loved ones and friends.

To make a toy you will need:

  • linen fabric - size 15 by 15 cm;
  • red fabric - size 5 by 20 cm;
  • padding polyester or hallofiber (or other filler);
  • satin ribbons (multi-colored);
  • red threads;
  • jute;
  • threads;
  • scissors;
  • needle;
  • birch twig;
  • wand.

Step-by-step creation of a modular toy:

Step 1. Make a square out of linen fabric diagonally.

Step 2. Cut off one of the corners of the resulting triangle. It is into this hole that we will insert the twig.

Step 3. Sew the fabric on both sides, leaving the area marked with a pencil unstitched. You will need to push the filler into this hole and insert a stick.

Step 4. Turn the craft inside out and insert the twig into the hole for the beak.

Step 5. Fasten it tightly and tie the thread as shown in the photo.

Step 6. Fill the body of the cockerel with padding polyester.

Step 7 Insert a stick into the same hole, wrap it tightly with thread and tie the rest around the edge. Secure with small knots.

Step 8 Fold a strip of red fabric in half, step back about 2 centimeters from the middle, tie it with thread and make a knot. This will be a scallop.

Step 9 Now you need to fold the long parts of the red stripe narrower and hug the head from both sides, right under the bird’s beard. Now you should tie this neck with jute.

Step 10 Step back 2 centimeters from the tip of the tail and secure satin ribbons of different shades with red thread.

Step 11 From the remains of these ribbons you need to form the wings of a rooster.

Step 12 Add eyes and your souvenir is ready!

Such a gift will not only be pleasant, but also practical, because it will be able to keep the kettle warm for a long time.

You can give this bright Petya to your grandmother, sister or mother. We think they will be delighted with such a present.

This warmer is quite easy to sew, so stock up necessary materials and get started.

To make a heating pad you will need:

  • drawing of a rooster-warmer;
  • multi-colored fabrics of different textures;
  • satin ribbons;
  • buttons for eyes;
  • ruffle.

Step 1. Print out the drawing for the rooster-warmer on paper. The drawing itself is presented below.

The following details are marked on the drawing:

  1. body - 6 parts;
  2. head - 2 parts;
  3. scallop - 2 parts;
  4. beak - 2 parts;
  5. beard - 4 parts;
  6. wing - 4 parts;
  7. tail - 2 parts.

Step 2. Stitching cockerel

Decorate those parts of the toy that you will sew from plain fabrics with bright appliques from pieces of drape, cloth or elegant braid. Use your own discretion, because this is a designer toy and there are no templates in it.

First of all, take hold of the rooster’s “suit,” which consists of six wedges. Using the same pattern, you should sew a heating pad shaped like a cone. The lining can be made from any filler known to you.

Once you've made the head, attach the eyes using black fabric or buttons. Sew on the comb and beak. Also fill with filler, for example, padding polyester. Sew on the remaining parts of the bird and decorate as you wish.

It is worth noting that this heating pad can be used not only for the kettle, but also for pots and pans. To make it slightly larger than shown in the figure, simply increase the height and width of the wedges.

Necessary materials:

Scissors
- a set of colored paper
- box
- PVA glue

Stages of work:

Prepare boxes of various sizes. Cut off the part that covers the box from the box, make cuts along the fold lines (they should be ½ the height of the box itself). Bend the parts of the box along the cuts. The two opposite parts will be the wings, and the rest will be the tail and head. Round the wings. Cut the tail down to the very base. Cut the head, moving from the top to the very base, to create a triangle shape. Decorate the craft: make earrings and a comb.

DIY cockerel craft

You will need:

Plastic bottle – 3 pcs.
- ball yellow color from a dry pool
- red and yellow plates
- red and yellow disposable cups
- black marker
- stapler
- simple tape
- double sided tape

Work process:

Cut off the top parts of 3 bottles and fasten them together with tape. Cut disposable cups along the edge. They must be attached to the rooster's neck using tape. Colors must be alternated. Cut off the edge of disposable plates and make cuts on the inside. As a result, you have feathers. Gather the tail and feathers with a stapler. Insert the tail into the cut. Cover the connection area with wrapping paper. The wings also need to be cut from disposable plates. Attach the head with double-sided tape. Cut out the comb, beak and beard from red disposable plates. Insert the cut pieces into the cuts on the head. Eyes are also created from disposable plates.

DIY Cockerel 2017

You will need:

Beads for eyes
- hot glue
- egg cartons
- primer
- acrylic paints
- balloon
- old newspapers
- scissors
- 2 beads
- PVA glue

How to do:

Cut two cones from the egg tray and cut one side of each cone. Connect the cut cones with the cuts facing down. You will end up with one large cone with 4 petals. To create the neck and head, connect 5 cones together. Towards the top they will expand and become larger in size. Cut a comb from the side of the tray. Cut out a beak from the lid, which will consist of two parts. Feathers are also created from cones. They are fixed on top of the cardboard with hot glue. The length of one wing is 15 cm. Make blanks for the tail in a similar way.

The next stage is creating the paws. Bend the shape of the paws from copper wire. In order to give the desired effect, twist the corrugated tube. Insert the remaining tail between the corrugated and metal tube. For strength, fill the lower part with glue. Cut the claws from the bottom. They should be long and narrow. They need to be secured with glue. Paint the legs and torso with spray paint.

Prepare a utility knife and construction foam. All cuts should be neat and even. You can cut out the parts separately. Finally, glue them together with glue. You can bring it to the desired shape with sandpaper. Additionally, treat with acrylic putty, wait until it dries completely, plaster again and treat with PVA glue. This will allow the paint to adhere better.

Start coloring from the head. Glue the eyes on the head. To create a beautiful scallop, make a pattern on paper, transfer it to polystyrene foam, cut it out, and glue it to a suitable place. Start preparing the mold for the wings. Leave the back open. Cover the upper part of the wings with feathers made from corrugated bottles. Fold the last row inside the wing. Paint over it, leave to dry, attach with perforated tape and a self-tapping screw. Make a tail. Take the mesh and bend it. Cut feathers from bottles. Paint them separately on both sides. Apply black first, and then a little blue. Attach the feathers with wire to the mesh. Once the paint has dried, cut the feathers into two more pieces to make the tail appear even fuller.

You will like it too.

For the back, cut feathers from a clear bottle. The width of one feather should be approximately 2-2.5 cm. Attach them to the back, 3-4 pieces at a time. Use self-tapping screws for fastening. When you fix the feathers on the neck, cut off the top part. Glue the last row of feathers to hide the screw heads. Glue smaller feathers in the back of the head and on the side of the crest. Cover all parts that you painted with construction tape and bags. First apply the yellow paint and let it dry. Add some stripes orange color.

The finishing touch is blinders. Cut 2 strips, make a cut with a stationery knife. Insert them between the metal-plastic and corrugated pipe. Paint the craft with yacht varnish.

How to sew a cockerel with your own hands

You will need:

Cardboard
- threads, scissors
- orange, blue-green, black and white fabric
- tweezers
- cotton wool
- scotch
- glue
- colored paper

Stages of work:

Draw a sample of the toy on a piece of cardboard and cut it out. Draw the wing separately, cut it out, and see how they look. Cut the sample into separate parts so that it is more convenient for you to work further. Match each piece of the sample with a separate piece of fabric, cut out each piece in turn from the fabric. There should be 2 of each part. Cut the head from white fabric, the upper part of the wing and body from blue-green fabric, and the lower part of the wing and tail from black fabric. Make the beard, paw, beak, comb and eyes from colored paper. Sew all the details for the head. Sewing the comb can be a little difficult. The fact is that it is wider than the head. It is better to sew it on the outside. Glue the eyes from colored paper.

DIY cockerel costume:

For the body, make allowances of 1.5 cm. Connect the parts from the inside. Sew the tip of the foot inside. Sew the wings on the outside, put soft filling inside. If you don't have it on hand, regular cardboard will do. Sew the bottom half from the outside, sew it to the body, and connect it through the cardboard with a seam. Try the torso to the head. Sew the neck to the body. Fill the connected parts with cotton wool. You need to fill it through the hole in the tail. The hole is very small, so you need to fill the craft with cotton wool in small portions. You may need to use tweezers. Sew the tail parts using an outer seam and fill it with cotton wool.

The paws can be made from cardboard or a piece of fabric. Select the fabric of the desired size and color, and make several square pieces. Trim the ends and sew the oblong legs. Fill with cotton wool. Sew the legs, wings, and tail to the body. Cut without touching the seams. The do-it-yourself cockerel toy is ready.

In order to make a bright beautiful cockerel, you will need to do the following:

  • Cut out a square from bright fabric. It can be small, medium or large, depending on the size of the toy you want to make.
  • Separately, take red fabric. Any other color will not work as you will be making the beak and scallop.

How to do:

First, inflate the balloon to the desired size. Then we dip the threads in glue and wrap our ball - tightly or not too tightly, as you like - there we will prepare the frame for our future toy. There is nothing complicated, so this craft can be done using New Year and together with the children. By the way, this can be not only a cockerel, but also any other animal.

After the glue has dried, simply pierce the ball with a needle and pull out the remains from the frame. We have the body of the rooster and his head - if you decide to use two balls. Now we take the buttons and make eyes out of them, gluing them to the frame in the right place. We make wings and a tail from scraps or colored paper and also glue them on. Paws can be made from felt, paper or wire and scraps. Here's what you might end up with:

8. Craft a rooster from felt

You can sew a cockerel not only from fabric or multi-colored scraps, but also from felt. By the way, this is almost the most popular idea, since felt does not crumble and does not need edge processing, which means it will be very easy to make figurines and toys. Simple crafts roosters are made from multi-colored sheets of felt: simply cut out the necessary parts and stick them on top of each other - you get an easy flat craft. But more complex three-dimensional figures from felt will have to be sewn, and here it is better to use ideas already created by someone. Here are four ready-made diagrams on how to make a felt rooster yourself, all you have to do is download, print, apply to fabric and cut out:

Felt cockerel - ready-made diagram

And if you think that this is too difficult, then look at the photos of other figures made from this material, perhaps you will like some idea more. By the way, good does not mean difficult. There are very simple solutions for such crafts that look very cute and are quite suitable for New Year's souvenirs. For example, pay attention to the heart-shaped cockerel.

9. Rooster made from plastic bottles

Plastic bottles are a very popular material for country and children's crafts. Here we have already written about what to make from bottles for your dacha, and today we will tell you how to make a rooster out of them. The easiest craft option is to take one bottle and use colored paper, buttons, disposable tableware and any other available materials to decorate it with the symbol of the New Year.

More complex options are creating voluminous roosters that can be used to decorate a dacha. Here you can no longer do without abstract imagination, the ability to create necessary forms and combine different colors, as ready-made schemes There are simply no such figures. You will have to cut out the “feathers” for the tail and plumage yourself, make a comb and assemble it all into a single shape. But for some, these birds look just like life-like ones - look at the photo for yourself:

10. Crafts from salt dough - rooster

Another popular material for children's crafts is salty dough. It’s not difficult to make, sculpting is as simple as using plasticine, but the figures are stronger and more durable—you don’t have to worry that your child will break everything just because he squeezed his fingers on the toy a little tighter than necessary.

Salt dough cockerel recipe:

Mix 200-250 grams of flour and half a glass or a little more fine sea or regular table salt in a bowl. Add about 150 grams of water and mix everything thoroughly. At the end, pour in 20-30 grams of glue - it is better to use PVA so that the dough holds its shape better and the figures do not fall apart.

Next, we begin to sculpt the figure - we make a body, add a head, attach wings and a tail to it, and also do not forget about the comb and beak. Afterwards we paint with gouache or some special paints. We make all the parts separately, and then glue them together with glue or water. To make small parts and shape them, use a scalp or a thin and sharp knife; when working with children, it is better to take safe plastic tools - a spatula or something that will help you make cuts and create the necessary elements.

We have already talked about how to knit a cockerel with hooks or sew scraps or fabric - this is the most popular way to make voluminous toys. Crafts for the garden for the year of the rooster are easiest to make from paper, napkins or plasticine, and if everything is clear with plasticine, then with paper you can use various ways, for example, first make a cone out of colored paper, and only then turn it into a cockerel. Does anyone even manage to make a rooster out of cotton pads and sticks, and for the Christmas tree - from Christmas balls, cereals, pasta, coffee beans, cones, chestnuts, acorns and other natural materials.

Bonus: rooster made from cereals for kindergarten

And another bonus craft is a cockerel made from cereals, which can be made for both kindergarten and elementary school. You can use a wide variety of cereals; this composition can be made from millet and buckwheat, peas and beans, semolina, rice and other cereals. The more options you have, the more interesting the craft will be - there is a chance to win the competition with your child.

The technology is simple: we draw a cockerel on a piece of paper - parents can do this, and if it’s difficult to draw it yourself, you can always download a ready-made stencil, print it and use it for decoration. Next, use a brush to apply glue to the entire surface that you will fill with natural material. All that remains is to pour in the cereal and let the glue dry. After this, we simply shake off the excess grains and get a finished craft. Cunning: if you use several different grains, then so that they do not mix, it is better to apply layers one by one, “painting” with glue only the areas of the picture that are needed now. But laying out a panel of beans or peas is more difficult - here you will have to place the beans in even rows to each other, having also first applied glue to the paper. Here's what you might end up with:

Master class on cotton wool crafts« Rooster»

Natalia Kiseleva

Dear colleagues, I present to your attention crafts master class« Rooster» - symbol of 2017.

Materials for our crafts:

PVA glue;

Old newspapers;

Wooden blocks;

Thick cardboard;

Acrylic paints.

Progress:

1. First you need to make a frame of the required size. Since I had an idea to make a big under the tree, I made a frame from wooden blocks on a wooden stand. You can also use wire for the frame.

2. Cover the finished frame with crumpled newspaper and secure it with tape for volume. I made the wings from leftovers. ceiling tiles (thick cardboard is also possible).

3. Prepare the adhesive solution. To do this, mix PVA glue with water in the ratio 3 :1. The more glue in the solution, the smoother the surface will be. Let's take a piece cotton wool(it’s better in a roll - it’s more convenient to tear it off and stick it on the figure, moisten it in an adhesive solution and apply it to the frame of our Rooster. By using cotton wool we finally shape our figure crafts. We also apply an adhesive solution on top to make the surface smooth.

4. The next day, when the figure had dried, I painted it with acrylic paints.

This is so wonderful I got a cockerel.

Thank you for your attention.
