Today I want to tell you about the tradition of celebrating the New Year in our family. We have very Friendly family: mom, dad, sister and me. We are always, and everywhere, together. In our family we have our own traditions and customs. We always try to spend all holidays and weekends together. This is very important to us and we want to preserve it for a long time. Pass this tradition on from generation to generation.
We have many traditions and they are all different. But the most beloved and interesting is the New Year celebration. We are all carefully preparing for the holiday. We try to celebrate all events as a family: both big and small.
Of course, today I would like to talk about the tradition of celebrating a wonderful holiday - the New Year.

On the eve of the holiday, there is always a bustle and running around. But first, we all clean the apartment together and wash everything. Dad gets our cute little Christmas tree, and he and I decorate it together. We will also hang tinsel throughout the apartment, dad will hang garlands in the apartment and on the Christmas tree. And our mother really likes to decorate the common corridor near the entrance to the apartment. She will also put a small Christmas tree there and hang snowflakes, which we cut out together in the evenings, on the eve of the holiday. Thus, she congratulates all our neighbors.
We always try to set the festive table and prepare many delicious dishes. Lay a beautiful, festive tablecloth on the table. On New Year's holidays there are always very cute New Year's or winter napkins on the table. There are a lot of different fruits, but of course there are tangerines, this year we definitely had bananas, since the monkey loves them very much.
Our whole family also cuts everyone’s favorite salad – Olivier, because not a single holiday is complete without this salad. Sandwiches with caviar are also a must. My sister is fond of baking, she baked delicious and fragrant gingerbread cookies, which we all decorated together. Each family member had his own individual drawing; Mom wrote the numbers; Dad drew monkey faces; my sister put it together, very cute Gingerbread house; I drew it on a gingerbread funny faces.

IN New Year's Eve we set the festive table, decorate it beautifully and friendly family We are sitting at the table. We watch TV, listen to the president's speech.
We are having fun, we are happy. The day after New Year or on Christmas Day, our whole family makes homemade dumplings. Mom goes to the store, buys meat, pork and beef, turns on the meat grinder and makes minced meat. Sometimes I also help my mother make minced meat; we add onions to the minced meat, add salt and pepper and mix everything well. Our minced meat is ready for making dumplings. Dad always prepares the dough for dumplings, and we all sit down to make them together. Sometimes my mother’s sister and her family come to us for the holidays, and then we need more minced meat and dough. But the dumplings are made more fun and friendly, so we make sure to make a dumpling with a surprise. Then we all wait for this surprise and look for this dumpling among the others.

On New Year's celebration, we are sure to prepare gifts for everyone. We package them beautifully, put them in bags, sign and attach pieces of paper with signatures indicating who the gift is for. I prepare gifts with my own hands: I make cards, I draw. As soon as the chimes strike, the president gives his speech, I run to our Christmas tree and open gifts. But before opening the gift, each family member reads a poem or tells an interesting winter story.
Every year I write a letter to Santa Claus, wait for his gift, and of course, I receive it. In addition to the gift from Santa Claus, my parents, sister and all my relatives also buy me gifts.
We also have a wonderful dacha in the suburbs, which we visit not only in summer, but also in winter. Dad goes there in advance, heats the house, heats the bathhouse, and then we all come there. There, too, a wonderful forest beauty awaits us, decorated with toys, streamers and, of course, a garland. We are setting off fireworks. We dance around the Christmas tree and sing funny New Year's songs.
Neighbors and friends come. In the snowy winter we play snowballs, make snowmen, and go sledding down the hill. Everyone is covered in snow, wet, tired, but very happy.

We also love to play outdoor games. Mom always prepares some kind of competitions, all competitions with prizes. We all take part in competitions with great pleasure and come up with them ourselves.
On Christmas we go to caroling with our neighbors and relatives.
Here comes mother - winter has come,
Open the gate!
Christmas time has arrived!
The carol has arrived!

Kolyada, Kolyada,
Open the gates
Get out the chests
Serve the snouts.
Even if you chop
Even a nickel
Let's not leave home like that!
Give us some candy
Or maybe a coin
Don't regret anything
It's Christmas Eve!
We have a lot of winter weekends, we try to make them memorable. We go to the cinema, visit museums, and always the dolphinarium and oceanarium. On winter evenings we discuss our events, and whenever possible we take photographs everywhere.
In the evenings, almost every day we play lotto, Board games, read interesting books, sometimes watch some old movie. Our whole family loves old films. Very often we sit down as a friendly family and look at family albums.
We definitely dedicate one day to cartoons, Lately Our family's favorite cartoon was Masha and the Bear.
I really value our family traditions. I love my parents very much, I’m sure that they love my sister and me very much too.
I wish everyone that every family has its own values and traditions.

PROJECT

"My family traditions"

Completed by a 4th grade student -

Leader-teacher Larisa Zinovievna Fedorova

Bologoe 2013.

Goals:

1. Fostering a sense of love and pride for your family;

2. Developing interest in the history and traditions of your family.

Tasks:

  1. What do we mean bythe word "family"?
  2. What are “traditions” and what traditions exist in your family?

Family - these are not just relatives living nearby. These are close people who are united by feelings, interests, ideals, and attitudes to life.

My family is a reliable, strong rear.
My mother, father, sisters, brothers are with me...
Here they can cool down unnecessary ardor,
Here I share any moment of happiness.

Every person should have: a home, a family, relatives, because this is where we will find sympathy, warmth, mutual understanding. Precisely to himself to a loved one you can trust your secret, talk about the most secret things, about what worries you, consult with them. Every family is a unique group of people of different ages based on consanguinity. Each of you has a desire to live in a friendly, prosperous family based on mutual understanding and trust between children and adults.

There is not a single similar “window”, just as there are no similar families, they are all bright and light in their own way, they are all a part of our great Motherland.

All families are different. How are they different? Habits, traditions, things that are passed down from generation to generation. What family traditions exist?

Tradition - this is a custom, an established order in behavior, in everyday life, as well as something that has been passed on from one generation to another, inherited from ancestors.

Some families have a tradition of baking New Year's pies with a surprise: a coin is placed in one, the other is baked salty, and the third is sweet. At the New Year's table, as the chimes strike, you need to choose a pie, and there are a lot of them on the platter. The one who gets the coin will become rich next year, the owner of the salty pie will face trials, and the owner of the sweet pie will have a fun, sweet life. In others under New Year It is customary to paint furniture: on the glass or mirror of a cabinet they depict in gouache the symbol of the coming year, Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, and some winter picture.

In the lessons “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics,” we, 4th grade students, studied the topic “Traditions of my family.” We were given homework - to write about the traditions of our family. Here are the essays we came up with.

Rusova Valeria.

We have big family- mom, dad and two Yorkshire terrier dogs. Like every family, we have our own traditions. Our family's biggest tradition is celebrating the New Year. We prepare very carefully for this holiday - we decorate the Christmas tree, think through the menu with my mother New Year's table, preparing gifts. And after the chimes we go outside and let off fireworks.

Every summer our relatives from Moscow and St. Petersburg meet in the village of Kotlovanovo. We have our own there wooden house, near the lake. We really love spending time there.

And every autumn, after all the potatoes have been dug up, the grandparents always cook kebabs at the dacha.

Another important tradition of our family is the Day of the Bushevets Village. We meet him in a birch grove. There is always a concert going on there in which I take part.

Every year, when I graduate with just “A” marks, my mom and dad always give me something. I really love this time.

Khoreva Elizaveta.

Although my family is small - my mother and I, we also have our own traditions. My mother works as a salesperson in a store, and every evening over a cup of tea we tell each other all the stories of the day, what new things happened at school, what grades I got. And in the evening before going to bed, my mother reads interesting stories to me.

We celebrate the New Year with our grandparents and always go with them to set off fireworks and explode firecrackers.

And my mother always goes to my performances at the Cosmos club and constantly supports me. At this time, I really need my mother’s presence and her love.

And in the summer we definitely go to the “Chocolate” cinema for the premiere of some new film.

Smirnova Anastasia

I'll tell you, friends,
Like a Russian family:
Dad, mom, brother and me -
They spend their days together.
There is no more wonderful family in the world!

There are four people in our family. This is dad, mom, me and my brother. Our favorite holiday is New Year. After all, the New Year is the most wonderful holiday! With a fluffy Christmas tree, toys, treats on a solemnly decorated table and, of course, with the hope that your most cherished desires will come true.

My mother prepares a variety of dishes and salads. I love helping my mother prepare the holiday table.

We decorate the Christmas tree together: hang tinsel, toys, rain. My brother and I are decorating our room. After celebrating the New Year, we go outside and set off fireworks and light fireworks. I've been waiting for this holiday all year. It's a pity that he only comes once a year.

Our family also has this tradition: in the fall, after we dig up the potatoes, we always gather at the dacha in the evening and bake potatoes over a fire. It is so tasty and aromatic.

We have friends - the Parfenov family. Yulia and I study in the same class. And every year on May 1, we all go on a picnic together to our birch grove and cook barbecue there.

Kultyakova Maria.

Our family consists of four people - mom, dad, me and brother Nikita. We also have a dog, Marta. Every family has some kind of tradition. And, of course, there are a lot of holidays. There are different holidays: Defender of the Fatherland Day, International Women's Day, New Year. We always celebrate these holidays, and most of all we like to celebrate our birthdays.

We invite relatives, friends and all acquaintances. Our table is full of goodies, just like on New Year's. Mom prepares various salads, cookies, jam and various delicacies. And then we blow out the candles on the birthday cake. Our cake is very big and beautiful.

And in the summer, our whole family goes on vacation to the sea.

These are our traditions!

Family traditions and customs are an integral attribute of family happiness and well-being. Traditions were once an indispensable component of a close-knit family, reflecting the moral position of all its members. Many traditions are passed down from generation to generation, fully accepted by the young family modern society. Introducing children from early childhood to family traditions instills in them the importance of family and family relationships.

Each of us strives to create comfort, an atmosphere of hospitality, uniqueness in our family, so that, being away from home, each of the family members understands that they are waiting for him at home, they will definitely listen and understand, provide support and help in difficult times. Every family must have traditions that children will subsequently carry into adulthood and their families. A lullaby before bed… a bedtime story… the legendary “family weekend dinners” - all this is of great importance for the formation of a real family. In addition, this is especially important for the child, for whom it helps to feel significant part Surnames, for developing a sense of security and confidence, as well as this warmth, these are values, this is unchangeable. It is important that all this creates a cozy, friendly atmosphere, stability and mutual support and assistance in the family.

Often we are not immediately able to identify the customs that are accepted in our family, since we adopted many from childhood. They are so natural to us that we don’t even think about them. Traditions and customs in the family make up the spiritual aura of the house, including the way of life, the daily routine, the relationships of family members, and various daily rituals. The house, “getting used” to its residents, captures their energy, relationships and rhythm of life, and, as it were, adapts to it. Often, observing traditions helps us live. No matter how strange the customs may be at times, it is important that they are not far-fetched. They should come naturally into your life.

In many families, it has become a habit to gather around a common table in the evenings and discuss the events of the passing day over tea and make plans for the future. Parents talk about how they spent the day and share their impressions, showing attention to each other’s problems. The same is allowed for the child(ren). A wonderful and useful tradition is reading every day in the evenings, discussing what you have heard together, expressing your opinion and listening to the opinions of other family members. Nowadays, the custom of joint trips to the seaside or family vacations during the holidays is popular.

It is very difficult to develop a family tradition when children have become adults and have already formed an attitude towards the family. It’s a completely different matter when parents show their child the world in all its beauty, surround him with love and form a strong position in life throughout his life. Kids perceive the world the way their parents do. It depends on them what attitude the child will subsequently have towards himself, others and life in general. For him, life may seem like an endless holiday or an interesting and exciting journey, or it may seem like a frightening foray into wild places or a thankless hard work that awaits him immediately after graduating from school.

If in most cases family traditions and rituals bring only joy and pleasure, and not restrictions, this helps to strengthen in children a sense of integrity and family unity, a sense of uniqueness at home and their own confidence in the future. Inner warmth and optimism are formed in us from childhood, therefore, the greater the charge, the better. The happier and more joyful a child's childhood is, the happier he will be in his later adult life.

You can start with the simplest thing - reading before bed. Even if the child is still very young and does not understand what you are telling him, your voice alone will have an impact incredible benefits for the baby. You should be careful when choosing fairy tales. Books should teach a child, educate and develop certain qualities in him. You can try to compose educational tales yourself, focusing on the educational element that you consider necessary. Just they should not be too long, otherwise the child may become overtired. A twenty-minute narrative will be quite enough. For example, a fairy tale about how one boy (girl) did not want to wash himself, as a result of which all his friends left him (her). But then the fairy brought him (her) fragrant soap with strawberry flavor, and a miracle happened, he (s) became clean (oh) and his friends returned again. There can be many versions. What if you write down all these fairy tales of your own composition in a separate notebook and give them to your child on an anniversary date (for example, his 18th birthday). It will be real family gift, which I think your child will keep and pass on to his children, adding something of his own.

Family traditions and rituals allow the child to develop a sense of stability of a particular family structure. For example, regardless of anything, what we have in place will happen. In addition, daily rituals create unique childhood memories that your little one will someday tell to his children. Family traditions enable the child to feel a sense of pride in his family and himself.

Each of us can create our own traditions in families that will be passed on from children to grandchildren, etc. Only in this case it is necessary to take into account that this or that event is bright and memorable for the child, and most importantly positive, that the repeating event is observed without fail, regardless of anything, and most importantly, that there is something in this traditional event that would influence the child's feelings and perceptions.

It should be noted that not all families have family traditions and holidays. And the point here is not a lack of time. It’s just that these people have lost touch with each other, they don’t know what to talk about with each other, it’s a burden for them to often see their loved ones. All this indicates a functional disruption of life at home. This house, like the family, has fragile and fragile connecting threads.

What can they be? family customs?
Friendly and a happy family can come up with a “special” greeting word for himself that will only be understood by family members. It’s interesting if, when greeting each other, one person says the first half of the word, and his interlocutor finishes it. The same applies to saying goodbye. You can come up with funny wishes for each other for the whole day.

The kitchen is fraught with enormous scope for imagination regarding the creation of a family tradition. Or, for example, the culinary abilities of one of the family members. It's wonderful when the whole family gathers at home for a family lunch or dinner on weekends. It is important that this event is not reduced to the dull eating of delicacies, but is remembered as a festive event, accompanied by the laughter and smiles of family members, fun, clinking glasses and the aroma of delicious homemade dishes.

And also, it will be fun and interesting if the baby also participates in the preparation of some traditional culinary delight, which will also take pride of place on the festive table. Or, for example, you and your child can cook something new every Sunday from dishes of traditional cuisine and cuisine different countries- also a kind of tradition. The baby will not only be interested in mastering the preparation of something new, but he will also be able to clearly see and try it. This way, the child will still be able to learn a lot about different peoples and their traditions, master their behavior at the table (eating with chopsticks, drinking from a bowl, etc.).

An annual trip to nature on the first weekend of summer can also serve as a family tradition.

As paradoxical as it may sound, the best family tradition is considered to be a birthday party. Many of us remember with sadness that when we were children, it was not customary for us to celebrate birthdays. Therefore, you can celebrate your baby’s birthday as the best family celebration, to which he will invite his best friends. This will allow the child to feel like a significant member of the family, teach him how to receive guests, and, importantly, form a tradition for him to celebrate his birthday.

Adults can come up with many different rituals for a child’s birthday, but special only for him. For example, mark the child’s growth on a special ruler, trace the child’s hand or foot, or create a photo gallery, in a word, everything that will help the child remember his childhood years and the happy moments associated with it.

The child can also be involved in drawing up a family family tree or collecting something. It is very important that this brings joy to all family members.

It doesn’t matter whether you want to preserve the traditions of your husband’s family or your own, or create something of your own, the main thing to remember is that childhood shapes the child’s personality. It is very important that a child has this childhood. Observe moderation in everything, because it’s too much strict rules, which do not leave freedom for the child, contribute to overstraining his psyche. The lack of stability in the family structure and predictable rituals that would reassure the baby with their commitment instills in the baby a feeling of insecurity and precariousness. It is important not to forget that any rules are appropriate as long as they do not make life more difficult.

Family trips to the theater or outings, watching a new children's movie together, trips to grandma's every birthday and the obligatory making of gifts for her with my own hands- all this is an obligatory component of the family, the key to excellent mental well-being, maintaining a favorable environment in the family. May your home always be cozy and warm!

Compiled in the form of subheadings of this article. Nowadays it is difficult to understand what is meant by tradition. Many families develop certain habits and views, but few people think that this is a tradition. What if at school, for example, in social studies they are asked to write on a similar topic? What will our essay “Traditions of My Family” look like?

Firstly, it’s worth remembering what family events take place every day. Tradition exists even in small things, such as daily greetings and wishes for sweet dreams. Secondly, do you celebrate holidays together, are you religious? Thirdly, do you all spend your holidays together?

Let's begin to study the main traditions. Maybe you will have some ideas regarding your family.

Religious events

In believing families, as a rule, they celebrate. An Orthodox Christian cannot help but celebrate Christmas or Easter without preparing a festive meal, visiting church, and inviting guests.

An essay on the topic “Traditions of my family” is a free work that makes it possible to develop Creative skills. But if your family is not a believer, then you can write about this in your essay or skip this point.

Faith is not only Orthodox, but also Catholic, Protestant and other religions. Of course, the traditions associated with this are also different. Let's look at an example of a Christian family:

“My parents are Orthodox people. They raised me in the faith too. Every Saturday and Sunday we make sure to attend worship services and pray. On the eve of the big church holidays We prepare various dishes and invite guests.”

Most Russian people have a tradition of visiting the cemetery and cleaning the graves of their departed relatives on Easter and on the Day of the Holy Trinity.

Holidays

New Year, March 8 and February 23, May 9 are the most important dates for Russian people. People are used to giving gifts to women on March 8 and congratulating men on February 23. Maybe your family doesn’t have such traditions? Or do they only congratulate men who served in the army? Or maybe you limit yourself to only modest gifts?

In an essay on the topic “Family traditions of my family,” it is worth including a description (at least briefly) about how you spend public holidays. As for Victory Day, it is best to make this tradition the most important. Buy some beautiful carnations and give them to veterans. Better yet, ask if they need help with anything.

“We don’t celebrate International Women’s Day because we don’t consider this holiday important. Dad often gives mother flowers and sweets. This is how they remember their youth. But every time on February 23, mom gives dad new things in the army style. Every year on May 9th we buy flowers at a kiosk and go to Red Square to congratulate the veterans. Dad asks grandparents if they need any help. I remember how we helped one grandfather repair the fence on his property and put a beautiful stove in the house. And dad didn’t take money from grandpa.”

Joint work

“Every Saturday we clean the apartment. Each of us has our own responsibilities, so we don’t have problems or quarrels. Everyone knows what they need to do. If questions arise, we solve them together, sitting in the living room on the sofa and armchairs.” A paragraph related to collaboration might look something like this.

Every spring, summer and autumn collaborations in the garden - these are also the family’s labor traditions. A social studies essay on such a topic will help you figure out whether something needs to be added to make the family more friendly and strong. You can add information to your essay about what your responsibilities are. For example, who plants potatoes with whom? Who is trusted to plant tomatoes, and who likes to plant peas, beans, corn. This may be the work traditions of the family. The essay is free, so you can write any examples.

Family dinners

It’s clear that they can’t get the whole family together at the table. And some people have a flexible schedule. But someday the family still gets together at home. Most perfect way connect together - family dinner. Some families gather in a close circle, while others invite relatives and grandparents.

It is better to prepare the first and second courses together. The essay “My Family Traditions” can be a good reason to make some changes. For example:

“We very rarely gather at a common table, because dad and mom elder sister and my uncle work, and I go to school. But when everyone has a weekend, mom takes care of dinner. We sit down to eat in pairs, taking turns, because our kitchen is small, the table is designed for two. I would like us to buy a large table and put it in the hall. There we could all sit down to have lunch and dinner and communicate. I would love to help my mother cook, but she likes to cook alone.”

Trips, going to the theater or cinema

Can going to the cinema or theater, excursions, or travel be called a tradition? Maybe your parents always take a vacation in July in the summer, and you all go on vacation to Sochi together? Or do you go on holiday to the village?

An essay on the topic “Traditions of my family” allows you to write about how you spend your weekends. After all, leisure is also a kind of tradition. For example, your whole family loves to play badminton. To do this, in calm weather, you go to a park or stadium where you are allowed to play.

It is worth noting that some people like cultural and historical leisure (theatres, museums, excursions), while others like sports or tourist events (hiking, rafting, fishing). Each family has its own interests. But nevertheless, hikers can go to the theater in winter, and culture lovers go to the sea in summer to go diving.

Birthdays, anniversaries

How important it is to celebrate birthdays! Unfortunately, not all families have the happy tradition of setting the table, inviting relatives and friends, giving gifts and, of course, putting out a cake with as many candles as the number of years has passed.

The essay “Traditions of my family” can be written not only based on the fact, but also to formulate your desires. Let's say:

“For my birthday they give me every year new pair socks and a toothbrush. I would like my parents to give me a computer. At my friend’s party, I had a great time and had a lot of fun. There was a beautiful cake on the table, we were treated to desserts and sweets. Relatives gave my friend many gifts, and we were given calendars and ballpoint pens on a string. This is how we celebrate a friend’s birthday every year.”

It is important for parents to celebrate wedding anniversaries, weddings, everyone's birthdays. Maybe you have some other family dates.

Family fun at home

Do you play lotto at home, for example, with your whole family? Maybe you have some joint entertainment? Write an essay about this on the topic “Family traditions in my family.”

From generation to generation

It’s rare, but there are still families where various traditions, recipes, and things are passed on from generation to generation. There is such a tradition as giving a wedding dress to a daughter by inheritance or some jewelry.

The essay “My Family Traditions” can turn into a unique work that can become a family mini-diary. Such a thing can be passed on to children and then grandchildren. This will also become a kind of tradition.

Mercy

It is very important, especially for Christians, to do good to others and bring joy. Works of mercy are a pious tradition. The sick, the elderly, orphans, homeless animals - they all require attention, food, love and care. Include such an item in the family’s work traditions.

A social studies essay on a similar topic is important because it helps to assess how well family customs, habits, and attitudes are observed and whether any adjustments need to be made.

I have a big family. It's me, mom and dad, two younger sisters and older brother. There are also grandparents in my family. We live together and I'm proud of it. We have many family traditions that are very important to us. First of all, this is a joint lunch on Sunday. We all dress smartly and gather in the living room. We lay out our large table and cover it with a beautiful tablecloth.

Grandmother and mother cook deliciously and on Sunday they delight us with different dishes. But the main thing is not the good food, but the fact that these are very pleasant moments for all of us. Everyone shares their problems and what worries them. Everyone listens carefully and offers advice or help. We also tell each other the news for the week, rejoice at our achievements and make plans for the next week.

We always celebrate the New Year together. First, we decorate the Christmas tree together, clean the house beautifully, and prepare dishes. An hour before midnight, we begin the celebration at the table, sum up the past year, tell what good and what bad happened to us. We definitely go outside to watch the fireworks.

Christmas is just as warm and family-friendly. They tell us about life, about faith and mercy. We are also preparing for Easter. We color eggs, bake Easter cake and go to church. We visit relatives and friends and share our joy.

Family traditions are very important to us; they are passed on from generation to generation. This unites us all, we are friendly. There is always respect and love in our family.

4. Celebrating the New Year in family circle

Not everyone can boast of this big family like mine. In our big house live: me, my two younger sisters, my older brother, and my grandparents. It is the latter who keep family traditions.

Grandfather loves to tell how his grandparents celebrated Christmas. We try to adhere to these family traditions that unite us. For example, before Christmas we fast. On January 5th, we have a tradition of doing general cleaning. As a family, we clean the house and yard all day long. And on the last day of Lent - January 6th, we celebrate the Holy Evening. The grandfather brings Didukh - woven colossi of wheat - into the house. According to tradition, this is done so that there will be a lot of harvest next year. It also serves as decoration throughout winter holidays. After that we gather at the table. We beautifully cover the table and put on it special Lenten dishes, which are prepared only once a year. We have dinner and then sing carols together. On Christmas itself we definitely go to church. After that, we go around our neighbors and friends, congratulating them on the holidays and wishing them happiness for the next year.

We also celebrate New Year with our families, but sometimes we invite friends or relatives to visit. I really love decorating the Christmas tree and the whole house before the New Year. On the morning of January 1, we unpack our gifts with interest and are very happy. As a family, we often try to spend time with each other. We almost never quarrel, and if we do, we quickly make up. Family traditions are what keeps us together and unites us.

3. Celebrating a birthday with family

5. Easter as a fun family holiday

6.The importance of family traditions

My family consists of two brothers, a sister, mom and dad and grandparents. We have many family traditions. A weekly lunch together is one of them. We cook it together, eat it together and communicate. During lunch we talk about victories and defeats, make plans.

Once a month we definitely go out into nature. If it's autumn, we go to the forest to pick mushrooms and admire the colorful decoration of the trees. In the summer we pick berries or just relax and swim in the river. In winter we go skiing, enjoying the fabulous forest, the silence and the majesty of the trees in the snow. In spring we rejoice at the awakening of nature and the arrival of the first birds; they sing their beautiful trills, pleasing the ear.

Our family traditions also include the obligatory joint celebration of the birthday of each family member. Required good wishes and gifts. We also celebrate the New Year in the family circle, arrange a good feast, games and competitions. We also celebrate Christian holidays. I would like to talk about the holiday of Epiphany. The whole family goes to church and then takes a dip in the ice hole. This is how Christ was baptized long ago. This has a beneficial effect on every person. Then we drink hot tea and go home.

At Christmas it is obligatory for us to visit all our relatives. Before entering the house, we sing songs and only then go in where we are treated to food. I especially love the other one Christian holiday- Easter. We go to church for a festive service and rejoice at the Resurrection.

Spending time with family is necessary. It is in a family environment that you can feel the warmest feelings. Love, respect and mutual understanding reign in our family. We try to help each other. All these good relations will definitely affect my future life.
