How much does it cost to dress a child for school? How to dress for school as a teenager to look stylish and not violate the regulations of the educational institution. When is the best time to dress a child for school?

What should you wear to send your child to school? Many schools have already introduced a school uniform, which consists of trousers or a skirt and a jacket. In addition, each school has its own “corporate” style or color. Therefore, parents need to adhere to the requirements of the school and the personal preferences of the child. It is better to buy school uniforms in a specialized store. It will take into account the features of clothing for children, and fashion trends in school uniform.

Girl's wardrobe

This includes:

  • one suit (this could be tweed, wool);
  • sundress or skirt with straps;
  • trousers;
  • vest;
  • shoes for the season;
  • multi-colored blouses, T-shirts, turtlenecks.

Wardrobe for a boy

It should consist of the following things:

  • blazer;
  • 2-3 pairs of trousers: dark and light;
  • a pair of sweaters (thin and warm);
  • bow tie or tie for a holiday;
  • a couple of shirts, T-shirts, turtlenecks, etc.
  • seasonal shoes.

In addition, both boys and girls need sports suit and comfortable sports shoes for physical education and sports. It is best if the child has two sets - shorts and a T-shirt and a suit with sweatpants and a bob.

So, you can immediately purchase a set for a first-grader as a gift, which would include individual school supplies, but at the same time, so that you have a list for joint purchases with your baby. You can give a gift to your child not immediately, but when interest in other things already purchased decreases. You can also start collecting materials for labor lessons in advance. This can easily be done on a walk with your child, together collecting your favorite shells, leaves, chestnuts, which are so necessary for activities. More interesting supplies, from the point of view of a first-grader, should be purchased shortly before the classes themselves; this will help arouse interest in the child’s school. Be sure to include a gift for your student in the set. This could be a book or an unusual item that is associated with the school. The gift can be given to the child immediately before the first trip to first grade or after the first lessons.

When asked where is the best place to pack a child’s wardrobe for school, I would answer: “Everywhere.” That's the truth. Shopping centers, any hypermarkets, state department stores, brand stores light industry enterprises - “school” hangs everywhere. It’s easier for me to name places where it is not: vegetable rows on Komarovka, the Uruchye construction market and the car market in Malinovka.

In addition to the fact that there are a lot of school clothes, which is why there is no point in going somewhere special for them, they are also repeated from store to store. By prices, assortment, styles and even manufacturers. For example, a school blouse for a junior girl school age everywhere it will cost about 40 rubles, closed formal leather shoes - 40-50 rubles, a skirt - 25-40 rubles, white tights - 3-4 rubles.

The upper number is the price under the discount program, and the lower number is when purchasing under normal conditions:

Loved this plaid suit for high school girls. Outside of school, it can also be used stylishly - with sweatshirts, bomber jackets, coats, sneakers or loafers, a backpack:

And this is MINIMAX, a low-price store. I wouldn’t say that the prices here are significantly lower than in other stores:

SO WHERE IS IT MORE PROFITABLE?

And although I said that everything is approximately the same everywhere, I will tell you where it is still a little cheaper. And how and for how long I collected my child. I have a girl, 7 years old, second grade.

BLOUSES

This is surprising to me, but I bought it school shirts V . Surprising because I don't like KARI. But accidentally taking a shortcut through their store, which had two through exits, my gaze fell on a stand with school uniforms. By that time, I was already fed up with ruffles, bows, wedding guipure and the fashion of Victorian England on school uniforms in other stores. But I needed an ordinary one White shirt under the mandatory vest in our school. I didn't expect to buy it here. One simple shirt with short sleeves, and one of the same, but with long sleeves.

The collection was last year, so there was a discount on it and the final price was 15 rubles. It's the same for boys.

Composition: cotton/PE in a 50/50 ratio. It feels like 90% cotton, doesn't slip or squeak. By the way, this is the second year I’ve noticed that fabric blouses are often good composition on the tag they turn out to be very unpleasant to the touch, like the fabric of an umbrella. And with a large composition of artificial fibers, the opposite is true.

So, two fabric blouses cost me 30 rubles. This is what they look like on my child:

There were also these:

JUMPERS

I took blouses for important occasions - standing on the line, sitting in the classroom during open lessons, jumping around the Christmas tree on New Year and in the best possible way receive flowers from boys on March 8th. I don’t put fabric blouses on my children anymore. Instead, there are white and black-and-white knitted jumpers, which are convenient for hanging from a tree during recess and which can be easily taken off and put on in after-school hours without the help of an adult. They are produced in huge quantities for the school season. And all of a very strange design and not at all business style.

I bought it last year and liked it. Although I chose not by manufacturer, but by design. This year I liked the designs of other companies. Although, it would be more correct to say that he was least irritating. These are jumpers from Belarusian enterprises: “Golden Fashion”, Brest, “Cotton Company”, Brest, “Yunona”, Molodechno.

All have a composition of 92-96% cotton, the rest is elastane. Prices: 15-18 rubles each minus 20% TSUM discount. The same prices (without discount) for them in other stores. I usually take 5 jumpers so I can throw them all in the wash at the end of the week. This amount is enough for the entire school year, taking into account that my child does not change clothes during afterschool. Total: 5 jumpers at a department store discount cost me 70 rubles.

CUSTOMIZATION

On the day when I bought jumpers, I could not find the models I liked for a height of 120 cm. Therefore, I took one for 128, knowing that at TsUM until September 5 you can have your school uniform purchased from them adjusted for free: shorten and taper trousers, jacket, blouses , skirts. The only problem turned out to be that this does not apply knitwear: They don't have the equipment for this. I don’t know what to do with long sleeves now. I'll think about it sometime later. In any case, for me, a person who knows how to sew even a jacket, adding sleeves to a jumper is not a problem. Just lazy.

SKIRT

I planned to take it, just like last year. I like them school uniform, but just plain, dark blue and black, with and without corrugation. For what exactly – read below, section “KALINKA” SCHOOL UNIFORM IN OPERATION. I didn’t like that this season they made a lot of skirts with elastic instead of a belt. I understand that sewing on an elastic band is faster and cheaper than sewing a belt and inserting an elastic band inside, but it looks ugly. Knitted inserts on fabric skirts, which differ in texture and shade from the fabric parts, also look ugly. Therefore, it felt like the child’s skirt had slipped down and his black knitted panties were sticking out. I was able to find only one model in which they successfully combined knitwear and fabric in tone and texture. I bought it. This is a model made of viscose and PA, with lining. Price – 26 rubles minus 20% if purchased on Discount Day. I am very pleased that there is no zipper or buttons, only elastic sewn on the inside.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS “KALINKA” IN USE

When I reviewed the school uniform a year ago and wrote that I had chosen Kalinka, someone commented under the review that the uniform fades, stains blouses, something sticks to it, and is generally dismal in use. All year my daughter wore a dark blue sundress and a black skirt from Kalinka. There were no problems at all. Only the button on the back of the skirt was frayed from shuffling against the back of the chair and the fabric on the sundress became a little shiny in the same place, an area of centimeter by centimeter, where there was a tighter seam.

I really liked that I didn’t have to iron either one. I washed it in the washing machine, hung it up, and put it on in the morning. The corrugation does not flatten when sitting on it. It was also important for me to have a stretchy belt on the skirt so that it wouldn’t put pressure on the child’s stomach when sitting, especially after lunch. That’s why I liked that an elastic band was inserted into the waistband of our last year’s skirt, allowing it to stretch by 2 cm. And of course, I didn’t have anything stained anywhere. Neither white blouses nor white jumpers. Therefore, this year I purposefully watched Kalinka.

SHOES

The best deals were school shoes at Megatop, where I bought Obba sandals to wear in class and closed Shuzzi shoes to wear on the line. Because they had a promotion - the second product -70% (now -30%). In total, two pairs cost me 49 rubles.

The composition of Obba sandals is leatherette on top, lining is made of genuine leather. Shuzzi shoes – Genuine Leather inside, outside faux suede. I needed the latter only for special occasions when a strict dress code is required. On other days, my child wears closed Marko shoes, with a wide toe and made entirely of genuine leather.

These are shoes at Shagovita, the prices for these shoes are about 50 rubles:

Just below are similar models in KARRI:

WHITE UNDER T-SHIRT

It would seem like a small thing, but you can’t wear anything else under blouses. One way or another, colored cars or flowers will show through. I once bought excellent quality and price from TVOE. Now I would probably take a closer look at ESLI in MINIMAX. In addition, every fifth T-shirt will be free.

SPORTS UNIFORM

I also recommend watching ESLI, and for older children - “March 8”, “TVOE” and Oodji. If you need cotton and low price. And so it is everywhere, in any hypermarket and mall hangs all year round. If you want “March 8”, you want NIKE.

SPORT SHOES

I have bought and will continue to buy fabric ones from the Lida Shoe Factory or NEMAN factories. They cost 22 rubles. They have no non-breathable lining under the fabric, a wide toe box and a Velcro closure. The design can be found decent and even quite fashionable. But whiners and bores never find it. Because not only people, but also sneakers don’t like whiners, hiding from them wherever possible.

And this is in MINIMAX. The design is OK, but inside there is the same “non-breathable” padding that all shoemakers make so that it keeps the shape of the shoe.

BOWS

Our school requires them, it’s part of the dress code for special occasions. I bought mine as a ribbon in the sewing department. But today I would buy a ready-made bow. I get nervous while I’m tying it: it’s slippery, and while you’re tying one knot, another one is coming undone. And when you do tie it, it’s still ugly. It's better to buy ready-made and pin it.

TIGHTS

Nowadays there are a lot of nylon tights in black, nude and white for children. Price – 2-5 rubles. On discount days you can buy cheaper in state department stores. They are also available in EUROSHOP - stores with one price. There these cost two forty:

But plain cotton tights are not so easy to find. But in MINIMAX - take it out in buckets. White, flesh-colored, blue, blue, pink, black. There, every fifth item in the receipt is free. I took the white ones last year. I can’t say how they feel to wear, as they’ve only been worn a couple of times on the line. But I like their cotton socks; they haven’t had a single fray all summer. Also, by the way, monochromatic.

TOTAL

A blouse with short sleeves – 15 rubles, a blouse with long sleeves – 15 rubles, five black and white knitted jumpers – 70 rubles, a skirt – 20 rubles, two pairs of shoes – 49 rubles, sneakers – 20 rubles, five pairs of tights – 12 rubles. My prices were as follows taking into account the discounts and promotions that I talked about above. The backpack was left over from last year's Galanteya.

On the eve of Knowledge Day, we suggest you figure out how to dress your child for school? This question begins to be asked more and more often when it is time to get the child ready for school and when the student grows up, the question also remains valid.

A child spends quite a long time at school, so clothes should not only be comfortable, but also please him. After all, no one canceled fashion in school. How to dress a child for school should be decided by parents and children together. Of course, taking into account school requirements. Today we will look at several sets of both school uniforms and casual children’s clothing, which can be purchased in Petrozavodsk at the Maxi shopping center.

I would like to immediately note that when purchasing any clothes for a schoolchild, you should pay attention to the quality of the material. It is better if the clothes are made from natural materials - comfort comes first! Such children's items can be purchased in the departments of the Maxi shopping center, which focus on modern and high-quality children's clothing: Gulliver, OSTIN KIDS, Crockid, Modis. Here you can easily find kits that will appeal to both parents and children.

It is better to purchase several sets of clothes for a schoolchild at once. Buy a skirt and trousers for a girl, and two trousers for a boy. From a hygiene point of view, wearing the same clothes for several days in a row is incorrect, and it is not always possible to find time for daily washing.

When choosing clothes for a schoolchild, do not forget that all the details of the wardrobe should be harmoniously combined with each other. The best choice for this would be a vest that can be worn both in autumn and winter, exchanging light blouses for warm fluffy sweaters. For a boy, you can purchase two suits of identical colors to combine the bottom of one set with the top of the other and vice versa.

Children's departments often help in choosing sets and selecting things. Stores in the Maxi shopping center offer parents a new look at getting their child ready for school and form their children's products based on a new design policy - compiling clothing collections using a capsule method. This is when you can easily select not only one set, but also group it with other items in the capsule collection, based on the principle of the same cut, style and color.

When choosing a school uniform at the Maxi shopping center, choose classic style. This does not mean that you have to dress your child in dark and gloomy colors. In fact, classic clothing comes in a wide variety of colors, details, and designs. So boring and stylish models you can find it in the Gulliver, OSTIN KIDS and Modis departments.

And for free time, visit the Crockid children's clothing department - there you can find clothes for your child to walk and relax. Experiment with styles, get creative with accessories, but be sure to remember a sense of proportion. Both school uniforms and weekend clothes should not look too flashy or vulgar.

The photo from the Maxi shopping center shows school uniform sets from Gulliver, OSTIN KIDS and Modis stores.

Weekends and holidays have not been canceled either. And we haven't forgotten about everyday kits. They, along with the school uniform, should also be present in the wardrobe of the little fashionista! It is very important to instill a taste and sense of beauty from childhood - everyone knows this. However, not everyone knows and understands that it all starts with the wardrobe. Today Daria Sudyeva will tell you how to instill taste in children and where to start.

Out with the old, in with everything clean and new!

When a little lady starts wearing her older brother’s plaid shirts, when a boy goes out to play in the yard wearing anything, justifying it by saying that he’ll get dirty anyway. That's when you end up with women stuck in jeans for decades and men's cut shirts, and men who don't care at all the soup has dried up on their sleeve and whether the pants are the right size. And the worst thing is that this is where their problems begin in their personal lives, and in your career. They greet you, whatever one may say, based on their clothes.

So today I would like to say... no, shout, how important it is what we dress our children in. Psychologists say that the environment shapes a person. And just wardrobe occupies in this environment not the last place.

From September to May, that is, most of the year, every morning the child gets dressed for school. Let's think about it, because school is that formal, serious environment. This is some many years of rehearsal for adulthood and the ability to dress appropriately for the occasion.

Now, of course, I would like to talk about women in tight, low-cut leopard print dresses, which they wear early in the morning to the office, or about programmers who consider it quite normal to come to work in rubber pantos and shorts... but I won’t.

I’d rather tell you about clothes for school so that 20 years later they will never say about your daughter or son “oh, that vulgarly dressed woman from the third floor” or “oh, this is our sloppy employee, his shorts are funny, sure!”

11 school wardrobe rules

So let me begin:

Rule 1. Whether your school has a strict dress code or simply requires neatness, it is important that the child was dressed well and stylishly. After all, then the attitude towards him will be appropriate, and he will make the right impression. Especially this relevant for first-graders, those who move from junior to senior school and, of course, for high school students.

Rule 2.Children's clothing (school uniform)should be comfortable and fit. Can't argue with that! The child should feel comfortable in it. There should be no embarrassment or shame about your suit or dress.

I understand that there are different situations in life, and different financial situations - but still, if possible,You shouldn’t buy blazers, cardigans, or suits for your child to grow into..

IN Soviet time Everyone was bought for this very growth. And what have we got now? Men, with rare exceptions, fundamentally incorrectly determine their size and buy trousers and jackets that they just hang out on them, "hanging". And women who always look in the mirror and doubt whether the new blouse is the right size for them. And I don’t want to write about the feeling of inconvenience and awkwardness that a teenager experiences when clothes don’t fit him...

Rule 3. Clothes should be predominantly from natural materials. When it comes to blouses and shirts, the best entirely made of cotton or viscose. The fabric for children's suits and school uniforms should contain natural materials at least 55%. It's better if it's of good quality fine wool .

Rule 4.Buy clothestaking into account the child's opinion. Respect his preferences, because small man already gravitates towards some style. Explain from childhood why in this or that case you advise wearing different clothes.

Rule 5.Clothing, hairstyle and accessoriesmust be age appropriate. A rare exception may be themed holidays. However, there can be no exceptions for going to school.

Rule 6. For school clothes it is best to choose muted dark colors . I would recommend do not use black color. Especially for young gentlemen.

It will be too solemn (especially in combination with a white shirt), elegant. And school everyday life is a daily work option. It's better to prefer various shades of gray or blue. If you want to add a "zest", pay attention on a business check or non-contrast stripe.

These designs on fabric are appropriate and look interesting. Save bright, rich colors for after-school and holiday wardrobes.

And one more small color detail: your young charmer should already be tired of Barbie pink or piggy pink for school. And if not - try offering her ash pink. For shirts, in addition to classic white, you can use others bleached muted shades: creamy, icy blue, mint, etc.

Rule 7. Boys - trousers, girls - skirts and dresses! I would recommend this. Down with jeans- these are clothes more likely for relaxation, walking, but not for studying. Doesn't your school know about this? What difference does it make what others do? let your son and daughter look right.

Choose stylish, contemporary cut trousers, a shirt and a cardigan for your son, and for your daughter a perfectly fitting dress or skirt in combination with a youth-cut jacket. This will be the golden mean if it is not customary at your school to look appropriate. Maybe, this will serve as an example to others, and everything will fall into place.

Rule 8.Shouldn't be worn to schoolunnecessarily short skirts (even for very young students) and even more so complement them with fishnet tights. Can be selectedtights in color to match the skirt or dress.

Since childhood a lady should distinguish between vulgarity and elegance, know the difference between business and holiday settings. After all, for an anniversary with your beloved grandfather and for a math test, they wear completely different skirts and even more so different tights.

Pay attentionto choosing your first tieand bow ties for the boys, because this tie, and how mom and dad helped pick it out, will be remembered for a long time.

Rule 9. Give preference shoes and boots made of smooth leather, patent black shoes look out of place even on an eight-year-old girl.

Rule 10.Don't let me wearsneakers for school. Don’t make the excuse that physical education is on the schedule today. From childhood, a boy (and even more so a girl!) must understand thatsneakers belong only in the gym. Such shoes are intended only for sports.

Don't let wearing inappropriate shoes with dress pants, don’t think that now they are small, they don’t understand, but to prom Let's buy the “right” shoes. Alreadytaste is forming now, already now they absorb and understand everything.

Rule 11. Do not use for hairstyles hairpins studded with rhinestones and overly shiny. And, of course, this kind of decor is even more should not be on clothing. Save these accessories for the holidays, or at least don't wear them to school. Girls grow up - but, unfortunately, hairpins with rhinestones remain... A good option There may be hairpins to match the hair, ribbons and bows, colors that echo the clothes.

All in our hands. Every day of life is unique and inimitable, let's be proud of our children, their appearance and success!

The first of September is approaching and many mothers are now faced with the dilemma of how to dress their child in a fashionable, beautiful and practical way, without deviating from school rules. The many offers of clothes for school, on the one hand, give a lot of opportunities for experimentation, on the other hand, it gives rise to some chaos in the understanding of what is really necessary. Image stylist Yulia Koroleva will tell readers of Signorina how to dress a child for school.

Fortunately (or unfortunately), the days when a uniform school uniform for everyone began to be sold at the end of August are over. Today's schoolchild is an individual! It is slightly limited by the dress code of the educational institution and, sometimes, by the capabilities of the parents.

Today I will try to systematize the concepts of “beautiful” and “appropriate” and give some basic recommendations that (I hope) will help you choose a comfortable and effective costume for your students.

TO THE BOYS...

In addition to the formal suit in which he will start the school year, it is necessary to have additional trousers. It is better if they are warmer (for the cold season) and stylistically match the jacket of the main suit. For example, black trousers with a dark gray jacket with thin stripes.

More often we choose gloomy colors, although color combinations: blue + beige, cherry + green, purple + light green are no less suitable for a classic ensemble.

Shirts, let there be at least 5 of them, in different colors. Each of them should be combined with a suit (any variation of it) and ties (if any).

It makes no sense to buy one burgundy tie and wear it all year with all the gray and blue non-marking shirts. The very solemn aristocratic essence of a tie is lost in such an ensemble. A tie is also inappropriate when wearing sandals under trousers. Sandals are generally inappropriate in a school suit. If you want your feet to breathe, pay attention to shoes made of perforated leather.

An option is when the school has a corporate clothing item, often a jacket or vest. Here everything is even simpler - the choice of all other clothing details should be based on it. The color, style and texture of shirts, ties and trousers must correspond to the approved uniform. It would be interesting to choose a bottom made of printed fabric, for example, in a checkered pattern, for a plain top. To create a completely “suit”, you can choose a bow tie from the same checkered fabric - now this is very popular.

Despite the fact that a student’s clothes must look strict, do not limit him to a classic business suit, especially since during recess and after physical education this suit bears little resemblance to a business suit. Knitted vests, cardigans, and pullovers will be good. In short, everything that matches the smart casual style of an adult man is good for a schoolboy.

Do not deprive the student of accessories: “adult” watches, leather belt, a satchel with a classic geometric shape... style is in the details!..

GIRLS...

A young lady's costume, even a school one, must meet all the canons of femininity. Avoid clothes made from coarse low-quality wool, items that fit poorly, and predominant non-marking colors. In the same way, an excess of guipure, velvet, and satin are not appropriate for every school event. The easiest way is to choose a skirt + jacket (vest) suit and then select blouses, bodlons, cardigans and boleros in appropriate styles and colors to go with it.

The school sundress is a little more restrictive - the girl will look monotonous all year, with the exception of cold days, when sweaters will be worn over the top.

I recommend checking out uniform foreign countries. For them, it is not such a new experience and therefore its directions are very diverse. I don’t even consider it shameful to copy the bows of European, for example, schoolchildren.

Do not ignore ready-made clothes from Ukrainian (Russian) manufacturers and designer ones. It looks much more impressive than 10 years ago, and is ready to compete with imported analogues.

Any dress that is inactive in color and decor can be a school dress if there is no dress code. Wearing it with removable collars in the spirit of Soviet schoolgirls or pre-revolutionary schoolgirls is the latest trend.

It’s good if you have a variety of bows, tights and knee socks and know how to combine them all. Playing with colors and textures can pleasantly diversify a strict school uniform.

Avoid such “fatal” combinations: miniskirt + fishnet tights + patent leather shoes - such an outfit makes a small (and even a big) girl vulgar.

It is not necessary to always wear white tights; their color can match the lower part of the clothing or echo the accessories. Socks look great on schoolgirls up to their senior year. An important nuance - at a more mature age, they continue to be worn complete with a pleated skirt or a checkered sundress - imitating the style of Japanese schoolgirls.

The student's hairstyle should look beautiful and neat and not take up much time in the morning. Today on the Internet there is a sea of similar hairstyles that are easy to perform. You can ask the hairdresser or the mother of the girl whose hairstyles you like to teach you how to do original hairstyles.

Important! A girl's school hairstyle should be appropriate for her age and event. Sexy curls on first-graders look funny on September 1st. Do not overuse shiny hair accessories in everyday life. Save them for holidays and extracurricular activities.

Jewelry that is allowed for a student: watches, discreet earrings, hairpins to match the hair, bows, ribbons in the hair and on the suit, tie, frill, removable collars.

I wish you pleasant experiments!

Stay real!
