When creating an evening makeup option, golden shadows are always combined with other shades. They are combined with dark gray, dark brown, black shadows and a fairly dark eyeliner. With such a set of tools and means, a “golden smokey eye” is created. Gold can also be safely combined with colored shadows - especially blue and green. You can apply a drop of pink on top of the golden shadows - this will make the golden makeup more “caramel” and “sweet.”

The choice of lipstick plays an important role in creating a complete look. When it comes to nude daytime makeup, it is better to opt for the appropriate style and choose a pale pink, beige or transparent lipstick. Also, nude lipsticks will look good with a golden smokey eye. They neutralize the richness and darkness of the makeup. If you used the technique of colored evening makeup, the color of the lipstick should be selected depending on the neighboring color. For example, if the eyes were painted with gold and purple shadows, the lips can be safely covered with purple lipstick.
