If you don't have a dark green paper plate, a white one can be easily painted with gouache or acrylic paint. Let it dry well and cut it into three isosceles triangles. Glue the resulting parts in the shape of a Christmas tree. You can make a hole at the top and tie twine in the form of a loop. Such Christmas trees decorate curtains or wall. On the outer plate, beautifully write the minutes with a felt-tip pen, and on the inner plate, stick the numbers to indicate the hours.

Cuts were made in the plastic and the blanks were heated over an open flame. Then the cut and heated strips were bent in different directions. When the blanks had cooled, hot (or “Moment”) glue was applied to the edges and sprinkled with glitter. For the candle, we prepared a glass bowl with colored bath salts. We will prepare such a wonderful Santa Claus for you. Of course, our Santa Claus wears a hat on his head. Santa Claus wears a hat. But our Santa Claus is magical, his hat looks a little like a cap and he is from the cartoon “Santa Claus and Summer.” I suggest you meet this Santa Claus.
Children watch an excerpt from the cartoon “Santa Claus and Summer”

For work we will need:

Disposable paper plate, strip of white paper, red and pink construction paper, pencil;
Details of Santa Claus: mustache, nose, eyes, edge for the cap, padding polyester;
Glue stick, oilcloth, wet wipes, scissors.

Cut off the top of the plate as shown in the photo.

Cut out a triangle from red paper.

From pink paper we cut out a strip of the face and round the lower part on one side (bottom) at the corners. Glue it onto the plate.

The teacher offers ready-made parts for children 4-5 years old, and for older children. You can suggest cutting out several parts according to the template. A white sheet with ruled lines will serve as a beard, which can be cut by children 4-5 years old and older.

Glue the red triangle onto the plate.

Glue the white edge onto the red triangle.

We bend the cap a little to the side.

Glue a mustache to the edge of the pink strip. But we don’t glue them completely. But only the middle, so that the mustache is voluminous and lush.

Glue on the remaining details: eyes, nose. We decorate the cap with a piece of padding polyester, which must be rolled into a ball.
Guys, scissors can cause harm and be dangerous to you if not used correctly. Therefore, do not forget about safety rules. We open the scissors carefully, do not twist with them. Don't bring it close to your face. Do not hold the scissors with the ends up. Do not leave scissors open.

Cut out short strips from lined white paper. Glue them along the contour of Santa Claus's face.

And using a pencil we twist each strip.

This is the kind of Santa Claus who brought us gifts, we succeeded.

Children's crafts from disposable paper plates

Paper plates are the most popular. The fastest and easiest way to use them is to paint the plates with colored pencils, markers or paints. You can decorate plates with plasticine by sculpting funny animals or smearing the surface of the plate to create a design. The use of colored paper allows you to create various animals (turtle, ladybug, dog, spider) and even carnival masks for children's improvisation.

For example, you can create a lion mask by painting the plate itself yellow and drawing a face inside.

You can complicate the task and use not one plate to create animals, but several.

Craft "Owl"

An older child can easily create an owl from several plates. To do this, you need to stock up on colored paper, paints, a brush, two disposable plates, glue and scissors.

Toys made from paper plates can be used in a child’s play activities and invite him to play in a puppet theater.
