How to make a star from rubber bands without a machine. How to weave a star out of rubber bands: make a two-color star, a starfish and a bracelet using the lumigurumi technique

I won’t describe how good the Asterisk bracelet is, you can see it all for yourself in the photo. Such a bracelet causes a stir among children, and not only among children: P

In this instruction, I will explain to you step by step how to weave this bracelet yourself using a loom. It is not as complicated as, for example, and if you have experience in weaving, then it should not take much time.

What you will need

For the stars themselves I will use yellow elastic bands, for the edging I will use blue ones, and clear elastic bands will be used as binders.

Of course you will also need:

Position the machine with the arrow facing away from you, so that the middle section is closer to you than the left and right parts. Next, take a blue elastic band and stretch it between the first middle and first left pegs.

Left-hand side

Next, take some more blue rubber bands and stretch them between every two pegs on the left side of the machine. Each subsequent elastic band should be placed on top of the previous one. Continue until you reach the edge of the machine.

Finishing the edging

Now, stretch the blue elastic between the second to last peg on the left and the last peg in the center row.

Repeat the same as in the previous steps only on the right side of the machine. Don't forget that each next rubber band is on top of the previous one.

central part

When you're done with the edging, it's time for the yellow rubber band. Stretch the elastic between the second middle and second right peg.

Then, passing one peg on each side, tighten another elastic band in the same way, i.e. between 4th in the middle row and 4th in the right row.

Continue until you reach the edge of the machine.

Asterisks

Now we are ready to start weaving the Stars, which when stretched look more like flowers.

  1. Stretch the yellow rubber band between the second middle peg and the first right one. Skipping one peg in each row (as in the previous step), stretch a few more elastic bands until you reach the edge of the loom.
  2. Stretch the elastic between the second and first pegs on the middle row. Repeat the same thing.
  3. Stretch the elastic between the second middle peg and the first left peg. Repeat.
  4. Stretch the elastic between the second middle and second left pegs. Repeat.
  5. Stretch the elastic between the second middle and third middle pegs. Repeat.

If you noticed on each “star” I seem to place the elastic bands counterclockwise. This is not important, the main thing is to do the same type in each and remember that each subsequent rubber band is on top of the previous one. I hope I didn’t confuse you with this phrase, ask if you need anything.

Central elements

Once your stars are complete and you've reached the edge of the loom as shown in the photo, it's time to position the clear elastic bands.

In each star, you need to put a transparent elastic band folded in half on the central peg, i.e. The central peg should have one transparent elastic band in two rows.

Oh yes. I almost forgot. The outer pegs in the middle row (first and last) should also have transparent elastic bands in two rows.

We weave elastic bands

First, turn the machine with the arrow facing you. Then take the hook, remove the yellow elastic from the first peg in the center row and put it on the second peg (as in the first photo).

Now, counterclockwise, remove the yellow elastic bands one by one from the central peg and put them on the corresponding opposite one, it should look like in the second photo.

Braid

It's time to move on to the braiding or edging of our bracelet.

Take the hook, remove the blue elastic from the first peg in the middle row and put it on the second peg in the left row (as in the first photo).

Now go to the left side. Remove the blue elastic from the second peg and put it on the third, repeat this action with all the pegs in a row in this row.

After that, repeat all these steps on the right side. The result should look like the second photo.

Removing the bracelet

All that remains is to remove the bracelet from the machine. Perhaps this is the most difficult stage in weaving an Asterisk bracelet and you will need another hook or toothpick, for example.

From the side of the loom where you finished the left and right rows of braid, you should hook the two lowest elastic bands and pull them out. It's hard for me to describe in words, I hope the first photo helps you (enlarge it if necessary).

If you succeeded. 😀

Sequentially remove the bracelet from all pegs.

Making an extension cord

Most likely, the bracelet will be too short for your wrist, so we need to lengthen it.

In fact, the extension cord is a regular single bracelet.

Place the blue elastic bands as shown in the first photo. The number of links depends on how much you would like to lengthen the bracelet. Remember that each subsequent elastic band is on top of the previous one.

On the peg where you have finished stringing the row of blue rubber bands, place the last link of your Star on top.

All that remains is to turn a row of blue rubber bands into . You hook the blue elastic band closest to the bracelet, remove it from the peg and put it on the previous one, and so on until the end.

The “Star” bracelet is ready

Fasten the bracelet with a C or S-clip.

Congratulations, you have made your first Star bracelet from rubber bands!

P.S. Write in the comments if you have any questions.

How to weave a star bracelet, 7.1 out of 10 based on 13 ratings

And they received a cute rainbow decoration on their hand. Today I offer you another master class on weaving a simple bracelet from “Stars” elastic bands, to create which you will also need a machine. To lengthen the decoration, a “slingshot” was used, but if you don’t have one, it doesn’t matter: you can add “stars” either on your fingers or on an ordinary fork.

To weave the “Stars” bracelet you will need:

plain elastic bands;

elastic bands of different colors, contrasting to the first elastic bands;

figure eight clasp;

Let's get started!

How to weave a bracelet from rubber bands “Stars”

For the background, it is better to use white or black elastic bands - they contrast the colored stars, and the bracelet turns out to be especially expressive. Our master class uses purple.

We fold the machine from three lines in such a way that the pins are arranged in a checkerboard pattern, i.e. We push the middle line towards the beginning of the weaving, while we lay the machine so that the open parts of the columns face away from us. So, we begin to put purple elastic bands on the machine, forming the “covering” of the bracelet.

Having reached the end of the machine, we hook the last purple elastic band to the pin of the outermost line and the pin of the middle line of the machine.

We return to the beginning of weaving and do the same with the second line of bracelet lining.

There is a basis for braiding - now we take on the actual stars. We attach the first colored rubber band of the star, as shown in the photo below: from the center at “two o’clock”, if we imagine that we have a dial in front of us.

We attach the next elastic band of the same color to the next column from the center, moving clockwise.

Continuing to move clockwise, we hang all the other rubber bands necessary to form the star.

Let's take on the next star. Again - an elastic band for “two hours”. The next one is a column lower, again, moving clockwise.

Please note: during the process of pulling them, the elastic bands must be positioned strictly one above the other, without mixing or twisting, otherwise it will be difficult for you to figure out the weaving - and the bracelet may not work out. But if you follow our instructions, undoubtedly, everything will work out as planned.

We continue to form stars in the same way.

We wrap an elastic band of a base color (in our case, purple) around our finger and put it on the pins of the middle line - the center of the star and the last pin.

We turn the machine towards us - so that the posts are facing us with the open part - and begin weaving.

We insert the hook inside the first column and grab the yellow elastic band from the star so that the last ring of two turns of the elastic band put on remains in place.

We pull out the elastic band and put a loop on the center of our star.

We insert the hook into the central column of the first star and grab the top yellow elastic band. We put a loop on the same post from which this elastic band came out (i.e. “four o’clock”).

If while throwing on the elastic bands we moved clockwise, now we move counterclockwise. We take the next “ray” of our star and throw it at “two o’clock”.

We continue to throw “rays”.

Let's move on to the formation of the next star. We take the green elastic band (“6 o’clock”) at the junction with the previous star and throw the loop over the center of the green star.

Let's move on to weaving the outline. To do this, go to the beginning of the weaving (open columns towards you) and pick up the upper elastic band of the edge from inside the pin (remember that the ring of the elastic band twisted in half remains on top, pull the elastic band through it) and throw it onto the first column on the left.

Now on the first post on the left, insert a hook into it and pick up the bottom elastic band, pulling it up through the cavity of the post. We transfer the loop to the next post on the left side of the machine.

We do the same with the next column: insert a hook into its cavity, pick up the bottom purple elastic band, bring it up, remove it and throw it onto the next column. Repeat until the end of the machine.

We return to the beginning of weaving and repeat the same for the stroke on the right side.

We have reached the last star - and at the end of the weaving we insert the hook into the column. At the bottom, we hook another purple rubber band onto the hook and pull one side of it through all the rubber bands remaining on the final pin (we hold the other end of the rubber band with our fingers).

We throw both elastic loops onto one hook.

We pull both loops with a hook and secure them with a clasp.

We pull the clasp, removing the finished fragment of the bracelet from the machine.

Now this fragment needs to be lengthened so that the bracelet with stars gets the desired length. We suggest finishing with weaving ““. You can follow the link provided and familiarize yourself with detailed master class, but here we, perhaps, will briefly repeat the basics of weaving “ fish tail"and we'll tell you how to weave this wonderful bracelet made of rubber bands with stars to the end.

On one side, the fragment with stars has a clasp. On the other side there remains a ring of elastic, twisted in half. We disconnect this ring and put both of its loops on the slingshot.

We put two more purple elastic bands on top of the slingshot.

We hook the bottom elastic band and throw the loop over the center of the slingshot.

We do the same with the second loop of the lower elastic band.

We put another elastic band on both parts of the slingshot, after which we throw both loops of the lower elastic band on the slingshot towards the center. We repeat - put on a new elastic band, and fold the loops of the bottom one to the center. Repeat until the braided fragment is the desired length.

We fasten the ends with a clasp - and our “Stars” elastic band bracelet is ready.

Eva Casio specially for the site Handicraft Master Classes

I have prepared a very interesting craft made from rubber bands for you - a two-color star, which is woven on just two slingshot pins. How to make a star from rubber bands see below in step by step photo master class!

We will weave the Star figurine in this way. Let's weave the beginning, then make 4 identical vertices and connect it all together.

What to prepare for weaving a star from rubber bands:

  • rubber bands of two colors, in our photo tutorial these are orange 52 pieces and green - 10 pieces.
  • a slingshot or any other machine, of which we will use only 2 columns;
  • hook for throwing off loops.

How to make a star out of rubber bands?

We will start weaving a two-color star with orange rubber bands. First we make part of the first vertex.

Wrap the elastic band around the right column three times. Then we'll throw a couple of orange ones on both sides of the slingshot.

We crochet the triple one into the center, and then wrap the green one twice on the right column. We put on a couple more orange ones.

Now let's lower the green double and lower orange ones into the middle of the weave.

Once again we wrap the green one in two turns on the right side and throw on a couple of orange ones.

We again throw the green and lower orange ones into the center, using the crochet hook. This is the beginning of the star or, in other words, half of its first peak.

Now we begin to make the second top and remember the sequence since we will need to weave three more tops in the same way.

*Wind the single winter one on the right column with 2 turns. We put a couple of orange ones on both pins.

We lower the green turns and the lower orange ones on both sides.

We throw the next green one on the right side, wrapping it twice, and the orange pair usually.

Again we send the green two turns to the center, and then the lower orange ones from the two columns.

Now we just put on two orange rubber bands, and lower the lower orange ones onto them.

Take the hook and insert it into the top two green weave elastic bands.

Let's throw them on the left side of the slingshot.

Let's put on a couple more orange ones and after that we'll lower the green ones on the left and the bottom orange ones from the two pins.

We reinsert the hook into the double green one, but this time it’s the second one from the top.

We put it on the left pin in the same way. Then again there are two orange ones on both columns.

We lower the green ones on the left and the lower orange ones into the middle of the weaving. *

When the 2nd top of the star is ready and now you need to make three more, repeating steps from * to *.

When the 4 tops of the star are ready, we do the following.

We return to the beginning of weaving and insert the hook into the second double green elastic band from the bottom.

We also throw it on the left column, and then a couple of orange ones. We weave, lowering first the double green one, and then the lower orange ones.

Then we insert the hook into the green double that remains and throw it again on the left side of the slingshot. Again we put on two orange ones in the usual way.

We throw off the green and bottom ones from both columns.

To complete the weaving, insert the hook into the initial triple orange elastic band and also throw it on the left side of the slingshot.

Then we put one elastic band on both columns orange color and send all the lower ones to the center of the weaving.

We will transfer one of the rubber bands to the adjacent column.

We'll remove the bottom one from the pin.

Let's tighten the last loop well and adjust the figure so that all the loops lie evenly.

The rubber band star is ready!

Happy weaving!

A star is a figurine made of multi-colored rubber bands. It may well become the basis for some kind of decoration, for example, a bracelet or keychain. To make it, you need not only to know how to weave a star yourself from small rubber bands. In addition to knowledge of the technique, you will need quite a lot of patience and perseverance, but the result is worth it.

Before you start weaving, you should take into account a few simple rules. In order for the weaving to turn out smooth and neat, it is necessary to strictly follow the sequence of adding elastic bands, strictly following the proposed instructions. The rubber bands should lie flat, without unnecessary intersections.

How to weave a star from rubber bands: a simple do-it-yourself figurine

The craft is performed as follows: first, the initial top of the star is made, and then four more identical tops of the figure are made. At the end, all the parts are connected together.

To make a star, prepare 62 elastic bands of two different colors, 52 pieces of one color and 10 of another. Our colors will be orange and green. Weaving is carried out on a slingshot - a machine with two posts. To make it easier to slip off the loops, use a hook.

How to weave a two-color star?

Weaving begins from the very first top, with orange rubber bands. Place one of the rubber bands on the right end of the slingshot in three turns. Then pull two pieces on both ends at once. Remove the first triple elastic band from the column and place it in the center, and then take the green elastic band and wrap it around the right column twice. Throw two more orange ones on top, pulling them over both posts.

Bring all the bottom elastic bands down into the middle of the weave. You should end up with an orange-green loop. Weave five more such loops, making the last loop without a green elastic band.

Hook the top two green elastic bands and place them on the left tip of the slingshot. Add a couple more orange rubber bands, and remove the green and bottom orange things from both ends from the left column. Do the same with the next green loop.

The first and main part of the sprocket is ready. Now, using the same pattern, make four more tops.

Now it's time to connect them. Insert the hook into the second green loop from the bottom at the beginning of the weave and put it on the right post. On top, add two orange rubber bands to both pins. Remove first the green and then the orange rubber bands. Do the same with the last green loop remaining.

The weaving ends like this: place the initial triple loop on the left side of the slingshot, place one orange elastic band on top, and then remove all the elastic bands, excluding the last one. Move the end of the elastic from the left post to the right one, and then remove the one that is lower. Tighten the last loop. The star figurine is ready!

Let's try to make a stylish Starfish bracelet using a step-by-step tutorial

To make this bracelet, you first need to weave a starfish with five ends. Prepare in advance hooks for weaving, beads for decoration and elastic bands of two colors, for example, two shades of pink.

Take one hook (let's call it the main hook) and wrap a hot pink elastic band around it four times. Then, with the same hook, pick up two more of the same elastic bands, and with the other, auxiliary one, drag the previous elastic band onto them. Pass the main hook through both loops.

Adjust the layers of the central elastic so that they lie flat. Using the main hook, take two more elastic bands of the same color and place all the elastic bands from its shaft on them. Bring the braid down a little further on the hook.

Now take two elastic bands of a different shade and pull all the previous ones onto them, and then put the second end of the elastic bands on the hook. Do the same with the free end of the elastic bands of a different color.

Add a couple more elastic bands and also remove all the woven elastic bands from the hook on them. Reattach the braid to the main hook.

One of the ends of the star is braided. Move it to the auxiliary hook. The remaining ends are woven in exactly the same way as the first, and then connected into a solid figure. To do this, you need to place them on one elastic band and tie it by pulling one loop into the other. Insert half a star into the loose loop to secure the weave.

Making a strap for a bracelet

Let's start weaving the bracelet itself on a machine with two columns. Pull the star onto the posts using any two loops between the ends. Place two new elastic bands above and place the right loop in the middle. Add two more pieces and throw off two loops on the left. Weave the bracelet to the desired length, putting on new elastic bands and removing loops first on the right, sometimes on the left. At the end, fasten the loops of the elastic bands with an s-shaped fastener.

In the “Video” section you will find detailed lessons on creating bracelets and other crafts using forks, looms and hooks.

Video on the topic of the article

Perhaps the most approaching great holiday for all of Russia - Victory Day! And in this regard, we will show how to weave a star from rubber bands on a hook and the number “9”.

To create such a craft we will need:

- red and yellow elastic bands;
- hook.

We will weave a star from rubber bands using the lumigurumi method. First, we will make the rays for our star. We will use red rubber bands, since the red star is the symbol of the Soviet army.
Use red elastic bands to make a ring of 4 loops.
In this row we also use 4 elastic bands, that is, we pass the hook into each of the loops only 1 time.
In the 3rd row we increase the number of our loops to 8. To do this, we will pass the hook through each eyelet 2 times.
Next we weave with an increase in every 2nd loop. That is, through the 1st loop we draw the hook 1 time, and through the 2nd loop twice, and so on.
Another 1 row with an increase, only now through 2 loops.
We need to make 5 such details, these will be the rays for the star made of rubber bands on May 9th.

Now we must connect them with additional rubber bands in series. That is, we simply attach them to each other in a chain.
It’s better to fill them with padding polyester at this stage, because it will be inconvenient to do this later.

Now we fold our blank into a star and connect the corresponding rays.

On the last loop we tighten the knot. We hide it inside.
Now we will weave along the center of the star to close the hole.
That is, we will weave regular lumigurumi in a circle.
In the 1st row we will weave 1 elastic band through a loop.
In the 2nd row we will decrease it so that the star becomes denser. We make a decrease through 1 loop.
Fill the star with padding polyester.
In the 3rd row we decrease each stitch. Now we make the knot tight and hide it.
Thus, we closed the weaving of the star from rubber bands.

Now we will weave the number nine from rubber bands for the holiday of May 9th. It is done very simply.
To weave it we will need rubber bands yellow color and a hook.
We need to twist 1 elastic band on the hook 3 times. Next, we will take a pair of elastic bands and form a chain of 11 loops, together with the initial one.

Now count 5 loops from the beginning of the chain and 5 loops from the hook. And in the 6th we draw a hook.

Now we take another pair of elastic bands and pull it only through this 6th loop.
The hook will have 4 loops on the left and 4 loops on the right.
Now we need to cast on exactly the same chain, but only through 4 left loops.

It remains to fix the number. Here we stretch 1 yellow one under all the elastic bands.

We form a knot.
Pull the bottom loops a little to the right to give it shape.
