If there is no such letter in the word, the turn goes to the other player. If the letter is guessed correctly, then the same player has the right to perform the move again (name another letter). The winners of each round advance to the finals. The player who guesses the final word wins the game. He is invited to play in a super game.

Progress of the game

Introduction

There are many wonderful holidays,
Everyone takes their turn,
But the kindest holiday in the world,
The best holiday is New Year!
He comes along the snowy road,
A round dance of snowflakes.
Mysterious and strict beauty
New Year fills the heart!
He gives us faith in a good chance,
On the first day and on a new turn,
Helps you become better
To all the people in the world... (New Year!)

That's right - it's New Year. There is probably not a single person in the whole world who does not love this wonderful holiday. Both adults, but especially children, look forward to New Year's Eve; they believe that on this night the good Santa Claus will definitely come and fulfill their most cherished wish, and there will certainly be a gift for them under the Christmas tree.

New Year is one of the oldest celebrated holidays. And since the New Year is a magical holiday, a wonderful holiday, it’s time for us to go to the “Field of Miracles.” So, we begin the game “Field of Miracles”.

Selecting the first three players

Whoever answers my questions will participate in the first round.

1) Each country has its own Santa Claus on New Year's Eve in his own transport. Santa Claus arrives on reindeer, our Father Frost on three horses. What animal does Snow Grandfather ride on in Uzbekistan? (Donkey)

2) Not a single New Year can do without it. In any country, both children and adults eagerly await Santa Claus. In this country his name is Pere Noel. Name a country where they call Santa Claus this way. (France)

3) Where does Santa Claus live? (Lapland)

So, we have decided on the players - the first three.

I. Tour. Let's go back to history

In Ancient Egypt, the New Year was celebrated at the beginning of summer, during the Nile flood. The custom of giving gifts came from Ancient Rome, where the first gifts were laurel branches, symbolizing happiness and good luck in the coming year. During the Great French Revolution, the New Year in France was celebrated on September 22, the day the Republic was founded. First question: In which country did the New Year celebration fall on June 22 - the longest day? . (Germany)

Second qualifying round

1) Homeland of Santa Claus? (Veliky Ustyug)

2) What is the name of the most peaceful New Year's warhead? (cracker)

3) What are the names of the decorations that are used to decorate the Christmas tree for the holiday, meaning one of the natural phenomena? (rain, snow)

We have identified our second three players.

2nd round

In England in the Middle Ages, the New Year was celebrated on March 1, and in Russia on September 1. And only in 1700, by decree of Peter the Great, the New Year began to be celebrated on January 1. According to his decree, on New Year's Eve there should have been a celebration, a full table of treats and a festive... . (Fireworks)

Third qualifying round

1) Which plant is used to celebrate the New Year in Cuba? (by the palm tree)

2) Guess the name of the country where the “real” Santa Claus lives! (Finland)

3) Favorite New Year's song of all children in our country? (The Forest Raised a Christmas Tree)

We have identified our third playing trio.

III round

How do we celebrate New Year these days?

In Austria, it is customary to tell fortunes on New Year's Eve. In Bulgaria, when everyone gathers at the festive table, the lights are turned off for 3 minutes. These are the minutes of New Year's kisses, the secret of which is kept in the darkness. In Germany, it is not the New Year, but another holiday that is considered the main and favorite holiday. Which? (Christmas)

The Christmas table in Germany is always covered with a snow-white tablecloth, decorated with fir branches, candles and small souvenirs.

The final

On New Year's Eve, different countries have their own traditions. The Japanese have a wonderful tradition of laughing at the onset of the New Year, in Italy, on New Year's Eve, old unnecessary things fly out of the windows, and the more old things are thrown out, the better. In Spain, traditionally there should be cakes and rolls on the table at Christmas. Cupcakes for a sweet year. And in Holland, the traditional main dish of the Christmas table is... (turkey).

Yes, turkey baked with apples, and on New Year's Eve there should be donuts on the table.

Super game

In Japan, the arrival of the New Year is announced by 108 rings of the bell. In Japanese cities, ice palaces and castles are being built, and snow sculptures are being erected. It is customary to decorate the doors of houses with pine, bamboo and plum branches. Plum means love of life, bamboo means fidelity, but what does pine mean? (Longevity.)

Leading: Guys, happy New Year! Now listen to E. Mikhailov’s poem “What is New Year?”

What is New Year?
It's the other way around:
Christmas trees are growing in the room,
Squirrels don’t gnaw cones,
Hares next to a wolf
On a prickly tree!
The rain is not easy either,
It's golden on New Year's Day,
It shines as much as it can,
Doesn't wet anyone
Even Santa Claus
No one's nose stings.

Leading: Now let’s all sing a song about the Christmas tree together. Thanks for the work.

Announcement: Hey, hey parent, listen to me!

There will be games and entertainment, very interesting.

For some a field of miracles, for others a casket of sweets.

Walk, some to the left, some to the right,

Make a mask that everyone will like!

The date and time of the New Year's performance is indicated.

Music is playing. Against the background of music

Leading: Hello, dear guys!

Hello. Dear adults! Happy New Year! We wish you all happiness! One hundred years of bright life and one hundred pounds of health. Everyone here at the Christmas tree knows it will be very interesting!

We will sing, play, dance and entertain each other!

We invite everyone to come into the hall and take a number at the entrance. Take your seats.

Buffoon: Guys and guests, have fun, have so much fun...

Now answer my questions with “yes” or “no”:

Are you guys brave? - Yes!

Are you guys skilled? -Yes!

Are you guys attentive? - Yes!

Are you guys cowardly? - No!

Of course, you guys are brave, skillful, attentive and there are no cowards among you. The kind who hardly ever make friends, who come into the house as if they were gentlemen. Give them everything, wash everything for them, cook dinner and set the table. Tell me a secret, are there any such people among you? ---No!

Leading: Everyone in this room has been tested and we are quite confident in many of them.

The buffoon and the presenter spin the drum and determine the numbers that come out

Participants in all three games of the game “Field of Miracles”, where the participants will be both a child and an adult.

Words can be chosen on a specific topic or arbitrary, taking into account the age of the children. After each round, the buffoon plays a game with those sitting in the hall. Or dance, ask riddles. The presenter leads each round wearing a different mask. (there may be three different presenters in New Year's costumes).

Igame: task - how does “New Year” sound in Evenki? (response to MUCHUN).

Buffoon: (addresses those sitting in the hall) from your spontaneously assembled team, let a song sound: about the New Year, about winter, about snow, about the Christmas tree.

IIgame: task - This is the oldest ritual dish of the peoples of the north-east of the European part of Russia - Permians, Komi, Udmurts, as well as Siberian Tatars. The name of the dish translates as “bread ear”. Prepared according to the classic recipe, the dish should contain minced meat from three types of meat. (response to PELMENI).

Winter: I was in a hurry to see you guys, I didn’t forget your request, I returned again quickly. I know my snowball, you wait, you sing songs about him. Hey snowflakes, fly! There will be a lot of snow!

dance of snowflakes.

IIIgame: This hot drink has been known since the 15th century. It was sold mainly in Moscow at markets and in crowded places. Was the Russian national winter drink, while kvass was the summer drink. (SBITENE)

Buffoon: Assignment for those sitting in the hall - It sparkles all in gold. Everything sparkles under the moon. Decorates Christmas trees with beads. And draws on glass.

He's such a big prankster, he'll pinch you right on the nose.

He will come to us here for the holiday. Who is he? SANTA CLAUS!

Music is playing. Santa Claus appears

Father Frost: Well done for remembering me. Even though I’m old, I like to play pranks and have fun with children. Play, then play, and give out gifts... The granddaughter had gifts, gifts. Where is my granddaughter? Let's all call her in unison: “Snow Maiden, come quickly, we have been waiting for you for a long time!” Everyone repeat 3 times

Snow Maiden: I'm coming, guys, I'm coming! Happy New Year! How beautiful you are and how elegant you are. Where is the Christmas tree? Santa Claus, we probably got to the wrong place? We were invited to the Christmas tree.

Santa Claus and Presenter: Here is the Christmas tree, here, Snow Maiden!

Leading: But first you came to the game “field of miracles”. Three games have passed. I ask Santa Claus to host the final game.

Represents the winners of the previous 3 games.

Father Frost: Assignment: Celebrating the New Year in different countries has its own traditions. For example, in Italy, all the children are looking forward to the good fairy - she puts her gifts in the shoes of obedient children, and for those who study poorly and play pranks, she leaves pieces of coal in their shoes - let them not be offended, but try to become better. Where it is hot on New Year's Day, people usually pour water on each other, as in India. And, in Russia on New Year's Eve they sing funny songs and dance around the Christmas tree. What other tradition is there in Russia when celebrating the New Year?

Answer: sledding.

Snow Maiden: Santa Claus, what is this in your hands?

Father Frost: A box, and in the box I have, a symbol of the New Year.

Answer - What's in my box?

The answer is a monkey

Father Frost and Snow Maiden congratulate the players and present a gift to the winner. The Snow Maiden and the Presenter, the Buffoon invite everyone to go to the Christmas tree.

Father Frost: Oh, and the lights on your tree don’t even light up. Let's all say together: “Shine, shine the Christmas tree!” Shine. Shine bright!” (3 times)

The lights on the Christmas tree come on

I lit your Christmas tree, friends, all the needles are sparkling. I ask you to sing for me “A Christmas tree was born in the forest.”

Everyone performs the song in a round dance.

Snow Maiden: The Christmas tree is glowing, sparkling, we will be children , having fun.

Children dance in a circle, read poems, solve riddles, and receive gifts and prizes from Santa Claus.

Winter: The clock is striking over the entire country, time is moving forward. The New Year is coming for you and me in our lives!

Father Frost: I give this order:

So that there are no white-handed people and lazy people among you.

So that they take on the matter boldly,

So that there is scope in daring and then any business will be resolved in your hands. Without fear of obstacles along the way, course towards knowledge, course forward!

May the New Year bring you much, much happiness!

Snow Maiden: We are parting, friends, young, joyful people.

We'll be glad to meet you guys in a year.

New Year's "Field of Miracles"

Target: introducing children to the history of the holiday and New Year's traditions of different countries.

Design and equipment:

    Cards with letters for making words;

    The playing field is divided into sectors, with a rotating arrow in the center;

New Year's attributes (pine branches, tinsel, balls).

Preliminary preparation:

    Draw;

Announcement of homework for groups (prepare messages about New Year celebrations among different nations)

Materials for messages:

INAncient Egypt The New Year was celebrated when the Nile River was in flood (around the end of September). The Nile flood was very important because... as a result, grain grew in the dry desert. On New Year's Day, statues of the god Amun, his wife and son were placed in a boat. The boat sailed along the Nile for a month, and during this time the people sang songs, danced and had fun. The statues were then returned to the temple.

INAncient Babylon (territory of modern Iraq) New Year was celebrated in the spring. During the holiday, the king left the city for several days. While he was away, the people were having fun and could do whatever they wanted. A few days later, the king and his retinue in festive clothes solemnly returned to the city, and the people began to work again. So every year people began to live anew.

For a long timeRomans We celebrated the New Year in early March. Then Julius Caesar introduced a new calendar (now called the Julian), and the first day of January became the date of the New Year. This month was named after the Roman god Janus the two-faced. One face of Janus was supposedly turned back, to the last year, the other - forward, to the new. The New Year's holiday was called "Kalends". During this time, people decorated their houses and gave each other gifts and coins with the image of the two-faced Janus; slaves and their owners ate and were merry together. The Romans gave gifts to the emperor. At first this happened voluntarily, but over time the emperor began to demand gifts for the New Year. The celebrations continued for several days.

Ancient Persians On New Year's Day they gave each other eggs, which symbolized continuation of the family line.

Celts, inhabitants of Gaul (the territory of modern France and part of England) celebrated the New Year at the end of October. The holiday was called "end of summer." On New Year's Day, the Celts decorated their homes with mistletoe to drive away ghosts. They believed that it was on New Year's Day that the spirits of the dead came to the living. The Celts inherited many Roman traditions, including the requirement of New Year's gifts from their subjects. Usually they gave jewelry and gold. Several centuries later, thanks to this tradition, Queen ElizabethIamassed a huge collection of embroidered and bejeweled gloves.

Quiz progress

    Introduction.

In Russia, the New Year was also celebrated in September, March, and since 1700 a new year was introduced on January 1. PeterIabolished the reckoning from the creation of the world, decided to introduce chronology from the Nativity of Christ and begin the year on January 1st. By decree of Peter it was commanded to begin each new year with a widespread solemn prayer service with bell ringing, cannon and rifle fire, and congratulations on the coming of the holiday. In Moscow they were preparing to celebrate the new holiday with special rituals.

On New Year's Eve, the streets were covered with spruce trees and houses were decorated with green branches. At midnight, an all-night vigil began in all churches, and in the morning masses began, after which, with the ringing of bells, they asked for God's blessing for the new year. At that time, bells began to ring throughout Moscow and cannon fire began. The Emperor wished everyone a Happy New Year and himself accepted congratulations from the people. Then he treated the leading clergy and all the nobility to a sumptuous table.

New Year's signs from ancient times that have survived to this day:

    The girls, cleaning up on December 31st, thoroughly swept under the table: if they came across grain of grain, it meant marriage;

    To keep things fresh all year, on the first of January they put on their best and changed their clothes several times during the day;

    Don’t do hard and dirty work - otherwise the whole year will be hard work without rest;

Don’t borrow or repay debts on New Year’s Eve—you’ll have to pay it off all year long.

A message about the history of New Year celebrations.
