Sea salt can act as the basis for various skin care products, primarily peelings and scrubs, which give the skin elasticity. It has a disinfecting effect and therefore helps reduce rashes.

Tonics, creams, gels containing sea salt regenerate the skin, help even it out and eliminate post-acne. Due to the drying effect of such products, it is recommended to make them part of the daily care of those with combination or oily skin. In order not to dry out normal and dry skin, it is better to use cosmetics with salt only in summer.

Sea salt for acne for normal skin

Sometimes acne appears even with normal skin. Here, too, salt will come to the rescue - a gift from the ancient sea.

When preparing the solution, it is important to keep the concentration of the ingredients low - add only half a tbsp to a glass of hot water. spoons of salt. At the same time, it should completely “melt”.

We wipe our face with a cotton pad or sponge. Leave for 3-5 minutes, and then wash with warm water. We carry out such washings 2-3 times a week.

Cleansing with sea salt for acne

Oily skin types, which are characterized by inflammation and small rashes, cause especially many problems. This recipe is well suited for this type.

Take soap (baby or laundry soap), rub it in 10-20 ml of water, mix with a tablespoon of sea salt. It is necessary to stir, but it is not necessary to completely dissolve the salt.

The next stage of the procedure is applying the composition to the face. Gently massage, evenly distribute the mask over the problem surface, trying not to cause injury. Then we wash with warm plain water.

Such salt washes should be repeated two or three times regularly every week. After several procedures, the amount of inflammation on the skin will decrease by half.

Sea salt scrub

At home, you can prepare a wonderful scrub that will not only cleanse your face, but also remove dead skin particles, which are one of the factors of inflammation.

Coffee and sea salt scrub

The anti-cellulite properties of coffee are known. But these properties can be enhanced if used in combination with sea salt (regular salt can also be used, and honey can also be added for effectiveness and in the absence of allergies).

Mix 3 tbsp. l. ground coffee (instant coffee will not work) with the same amount of salt. Add 2-3 drops of olive oil into the mixture and perform an active massage of cellulite areas for 5-10 minutes. You need to allow the mixture to absorb, then you can take a shower. After rinsing, rub with a towel.
