Salt body scrub, how to make

Cellulite is a problem for women of different body types. The unsightly “orange peel” on the body affects plump and thin individuals of the fair sex. Let's not figure out what this is connected with; we'd rather find a cheap and effective way to fix the problem. A salt body scrub, which you will now learn how to make yourself, will have a toning and tightening effect.

Recipe "Honey". Mix sea salt with honey to a liquid consistency of 1:1. Place the mixture in a convenient glass container. And use several times a week. Don't forget to moisturize your skin with olive oil after peeling - it's better if this happens during the massage. Coffee recipe. Take 3 tbsp. l. crushed coffee beans and the same amount of salt, mix. Season the base with a teaspoon of olive oil. This scrub will refresh and nourish the skin, remove flaky areas, cleanse pores, and promote cell regeneration. Suitable for daily use. Recipe "Tropics". Combine equal amounts of salt and cane sugar, add 5 tbsp. l. vegetable oil per 200 g of bulk composition. Finally, infuse the scrub with a fresh citrus scent by adding a few drops of orange essential oil. It is recommended to use 2 times a week.


Recipe for stretch marks. For 250 g of sugar and the same amount of salt you need to take ½ cup of olive oil. Combine the ingredients into a single mass and place in the refrigerator. Take a shower and scrub with the scrub in the morning and evening for 3-4 weeks – you will be pleased with the results. Cucumber-Lemon Recipe. You will need:
  • coarse sea salt - 5 tbsp. l.;
  • cucumber seeds – 20 g;
  • zest of one lemon;
  • pumpkin seed oil – 10 ml.

Dry and grind the cucumber seeds in a coffee grinder. Add pumpkin squeeze to the lemon zest, then crushed cucumber seeds. Combine into a homogeneous mass. Gradually add salt, stirring vigorously. Leave it to soak for 2–3 hours, after which you can safely use it. Do not store this scrub for longer than 3 days - ideally, you should prepare it fresh each time. Scrub your skin 3 times a week, rinsing with cold water.

You can also use simple table salt, add strawberry seeds, kiwi seeds, crushed orange peel, raspberry seeds, etc. If you make the scrub in small quantities and plan to use it within a week, then you can add beet juice directly to the salt as a natural pigment for better color. Be sure to add oil to the bulk ingredients: sunflower, olive, rapeseed, coconut, pumpkin. Store the product in a glass jar.


It is important to know:
  1. The scrub is applied to clean and damp skin.
  2. Apply the product in a circular motion, rubbing problem areas.
  3. One area should be given at least 5 minutes of active massage with a salt scrub.
  4. If you feel a burning sensation and discomfort, and your skin turns red, then you should switch the mixer position to the shower, adjust the powerful jet and perform a hydromassage.
  5. It is better to rinse off the scrub with cool water. Then blood circulation works better, the skin quickly takes on a healthy and toned appearance.

By adding sugar to salt, you don’t have to worry about the shelf life: two natural preservatives will perfectly preserve the properties and structure of the scrub.
