Summer is coming. The most wonderful time for children and parents. Vacation time, carefree recreation, unforgettable trips to nature, to the country. Children have more opportunities to walk, move, and spend a lot of time in the fresh air. Parents try to spend all this time with their children. For the guys it is necessary to do it correctly and safely organize a vacation, do summer is interesting, beneficial for health and development. But parents sometimes have no idea how educational and full of discoveries even an ordinary walk in a public garden, a park, or a forest can be for a child.

IN to help parents we organized a corner in the reception group« Summer is coming» .

Its goal is to help increase the competence of parents in matters organizing children's summer holidays, providing practical help in education matters children preschool age.

Tasks:

1. Ensuring life protection and health promotion children in summer.

2. Prevention of childhood injuries.

3. Rendering assistance in organizing play activity children.

4. Implementation of pedagogical and medical education of parents on health issues children in summer.

This is how the idea was born organizing a corner for parents in the reception group« Summer is coming» . To corner fulfilled the function assigned to it, we made it bright and attractive, the material colorful and accessible to everyone. A presentation was held at the final parent meeting corner.

SUMMER is a vacation, and a vacation is a vacation. Therefore, we do not burden the children with complex hours-long classes, but conduct classes that are easy and entertaining. So, the natural desire of children to explore and understand the world is fully satisfied. We look into those corners of the world around us that we did not have time to look into during the school year. Children get lots of independent, hands-on experience. After all, everyone knows that nothing is remembered better than one’s own conclusions. Both kids with minimal knowledge about the world around them and those who have been exploring the world for several years find it very interesting in such classes! Creativity occupies a special place in the program of this SUMMER. Since we spend a lot of time in nature, the central idea is to preserve the nature around us. The children receive the basics of environmental education.

In addition, SUMMER is the time when we gain strength, vitamins and health. We are not reinventing the wheel in this area. Walks in the fresh air during the day, outdoor games, healthy eating, friendship with sports. That's the whole secret of a healthy, agile and rosy-cheeked child.

Teachers pay as much attention to each child as he needs to solve any problem, even the most "unsolvable" question.

Summer health work is organized according to an approved plan and is aimed at ensuring the protection of the life and health of students, organizing a health-saving regime, preventing morbidity and injury.

The main tasks of work for the summer health period are:

implement a system of measures aimed at the health and physical development of children, their moral education, the development of curiosity and cognitive activity, the formation of cultural, hygienic and labor skills;
create conditions that ensure the protection of the life and health of children, for independent, creative activities of children on the site;
carry out pedagogical and social education of parents on issues of education and health improvement of children in the summer.

Priority areas of work for the summer period:

physical education and health work;
cultural and leisure activities.

Children spend most of their time outdoors. Reception of children, gymnastics, play activities and other activities are organized in the fresh air. We focus on increasing children’s physical activity through outdoor games, sports entertainment, excursions, and outdoor material. Children willingly work in the flower garden, in the vegetable garden, participate in role-playing games, games with water and sand, theatrical performances are organized, play situations are played out on the playground, and conditions are created to ensure the protection of children’s lives and health. During the period of summer health work, consultations are organized for parents according to the plan on the topic of safe summer holidays for children. Parents were actively involved in the improvement of preschool sites. The floors on the verandas and some of the equipment in the areas were replaced. Our GOAL: to help parents raise capable, smart, healthy and happy children! Our summer programs are educational, fun, active and so different... Our experience shows that SUMMER can and should be spent usefully!

Summer is an amazing and fertile time when children can walk, run and jump to their heart's content. It is during this period that they spend a lot of time outdoors. And it is very important to organize the life of preschoolers in such a way that every day brings them something new, is filled with interesting content, so that memories of summer time, games, walks, holidays and entertainment, interesting episodes from their lives will delight children for a long time. That is why the work of a kindergarten in the summer is a little different from other times. Children receive no less attention, but they spend much more time outdoors. Basic summer activities in kindergarten: group games in the fresh air; active and regular physical activity; sport competitions; familiarizing children with the nature around them; reading children's literature. A huge role in how interesting children will spend the summer in kindergarten is played by the desire and ability of the teacher to make every day bright for the child. During the summer recreational period, all participants in the educational process are covered. It provides ample opportunities for strengthening the physical, mental and social health of pupils, developing their cognitive, communication, and creative abilities, as well as increasing the information competence of parents in the field of organizing summer holidays for children.

Summer is a wonderful time for both children and adults. It is in the summer that children have a great opportunity to get a boost of health for the whole year. Many children spend their summer in kindergarten.

In summer, nature provides great opportunities for the development of cognitive abilities of preschoolers.

The success of the educational process in kindergarten directly depends on the degree of coordination between teachers and parents. In this connection, the exchange of information and experience, the search for interesting ways to organize work with children, as well as awareness of the results of the educational activities of children are very important. All these aspects of cooperation are reflected in the corner for parents. And the teacher’s task is to formalize it methodically, competently and aesthetically.

Goals of creating a corner for parents

A stand or shelf, as well as tablets and mats, which are located in the reception area and are intended to familiarize parents with the life of the group where their child is being raised, are called a corner for parents. The purposes of its creation are:

awakening the family’s interest in the life of the group and the garden (materials on planned excursions, creative projects, etc.);
demonstration of the results of work on the training, development and upbringing of children (photos, photo collages, drawings by children, crafts, including those made with parents, etc.);
familiarization with regulatory documents relating to parenthood (information about the rights of the child, a list of the rights and responsibilities of parents, the charter of a preschool institution, etc.).

The corner for parents should be neat and meaningful

Material supply form

In order for the corner to fulfill its purpose as much as possible, its design should be varied, but not redundant. Based on the methodological experience of generations of educators, we can conclude that for a beautiful and meaningful parent corner it is enough to choose one of the following items:

1–2 stands;
3–4 tablets (the size is selected according to the dimensions of the corner);
1 table or shelf for the exhibition of children's works (they are conveniently placed in the mat);
posters or images of silhouettes of toys, fairy-tale characters.

Children's drawings, bright pictures, photographs of children during activities and walks - this is only part of the design of a corner for parents, the content of which can be divided into two groups of materials: permanent and temporary. The first include:

annually updated age characteristics of children;
a list of age-appropriate skills and abilities (rewritten every year);
daily routine for the current academic year;
menu;
rules “Every parent should know this”;
information about the program under which the preschool child care institution operates;
telephone numbers of the teacher, assistant teacher, social service, ambulance, helpline;
information from specialists (their names, office hours, phone numbers);
tips for training fine motor skills, logic, memory, speaking;
notes on disease prevention (organized, for example, in a folder);
table with data on weighing and measuring the height of babies;
letters of gratitude for parents (for helping the group, kindergarten, etc.).

It’s convenient when a place is allocated in the parent’s corner for a lost and found area for children’s lost things.

Temporary materials require the following information:

list of birthday people for the month;
health sheet with information for a specific day;
a list of activities for the whole week (with topics, tasks and a brief description of the content);
information about the results of the children’s work (exhibition of works, results of psychological and pedagogical tests, etc.);
a list of topics that need to be repeated with children (for example, learn a riddle, poem, proverb);
a list of activities for a period of the academic period (usually a month);
news from the life of kindergarten;
information about upcoming competitions (for example, “Summer vacation for my family”, “Weekend with dad”, etc.)

Where to place

It is best if the corner is located near the window. Any well-lit area of the room will also work.

In many kindergartens, information for parents is placed above the lockers.

Requirements

As with all educational materials, there are several requirements for the parents’ corner:

the names of the headings are highlighted in bright, for example, red;
the text must be divided into paragraphs;
availability of constant and updated information;
The main principle of presenting material is lapidary.

This is interesting. Lapidary - extremely short, condensed.

Regarding the issue of information content, the relevance of the information is important. And the task is not only to match the material to a given moment in the life of the group, such as a report on events, a work plan for the week or a menu, but to create a selection of useful recommendations for parents of a specific age group. So, it will be useful for parents of children in the first junior group to read about the daily routine in kindergarten, so that family members at home can build a similar rhythm to facilitate the child’s adaptation to new living conditions in the group. But for mothers and fathers of preschoolers in the preparatory group, for example, it is very important to learn in advance about tests for first-graders, as well as about the work that is carried out in kindergarten to prepare children for the first tests.

If the sheets of information are not protected by a frame covering, the information will not stay on the stand for long

Design example

There can be many options for creating a corner. It all depends on the creativity of the teacher and the capabilities of the kindergarten’s material and technical base. In other words, using available materials to realize creative ideas, you can design a corner for parents in a unique author’s style. Let's consider the most accessible form in terms of materials, simple in execution and easy to use in the form of train carriages.

Materials:

ceiling tiles;
narrow plinth for the ceiling;
cardboard (thick);
colored self-adhesive;
PVA glue;
scissors and paper knife;
colored paper;
A4 size plastic pockets.

To create a corner for parents with your own hands, you will need quite affordable materials.

Instructions:

We cut out rectangles of the required size from the ceiling tiles (it all depends on the size of the corner, as well as on the dimensions of the train and the number of cars in it).
Glue the blanks onto cardboard.
Cover with self-adhesive tape.
We place the ceiling plinth on the edges. It can also be used to imitate frames for sheets of information (instead of plastic pockets).
Using a stapler or glue, we attach plastic pockets to the cars.
Cutting out a locomotive is quite a troublesome task, because it must be proportional to the rest of the cars
We cut out flowers from colored paper, which we use to tie the trailers together.
We print the information on A4 sheets and place it in pockets.
