How to sew a double-sided daisy pillow with your own hands. We sew cool pillows: step-by-step master classes

A DIY rose sofa pillow can become a very beautiful interior decoration. Sewing such pillows is quite simple and there are several options for how this can be done.

Master class 1: Decorative rose pillow

You will need:

  • 2 types of fabric: for the top layer of the petal - light and thinner, for the bottom - darker and denser;
  • padding polyester;
  • pink bias tape;
  • sewing accessories: sewing machine, needle, thread, scissors, pins;
  • cardboard for templates and compasses.

1. Draw the necessary templates on cardboard: circles of different diameters - 35 cm, 25 cm and 19 cm.

2. Cut out the parts from the fabric using these templates:

  • with a diameter of 35 cm - from dark fabric 2 pcs.;
  • diameter 25 cm and 19 cm – 6 pcs. from light and 6 pcs. made of dark fabric.

3. For the core of our rose, cut out 2 rectangles 50 cm long and 10 cm wide from dark fabric, and on one side we make a semicircle along the entire length.

4. To make a petal, take 2 parts of the same diameter in different colors, fold them with the wrong sides facing each other and sew bias tape along the edges using a machine, leaving 5-7 cm for filling with padding polyester. We do this with all the parts the same size and a strip for the core.

7. We begin to collect the rose. On the base (circle with a diameter of 35 cm), stepping back from the edge 3-5 cm, sew a petal of a larger diameter. We sew the next petal, stepping slightly onto the first one, and so on for all 6 petals.

8. In the same way we sew smaller petals, placing them between two large ones. Having twisted the prepared strip into a bud, we sew on the core of the flower.

Our rose is ready!

Using another pattern, you can make another rose pillow.

Master class 2: DIY rose pillow

You will need:

  • pink and beige satin fabric;
  • edging;
  • padding polyester;
  • sewing supplies;
  • templates
  1. We cut out 4 parts of each template from fabrics: beige - a smaller size, pink - a larger one, making approximately the length along the fold of the upper petal 19 cm and the lower - 24 cm. We also cut out 2 strips of different colors 1 m long and 7 cm wide.
  2. To the front side of the smaller petals, made of beige fabric, we attach an edging along the entire circumference, making sure to match the cuts.
  3. Place the corresponding piece of pink fabric on top and, aligning the cuts around the circumference, sew along the edge. Turn it right side out and trim off any rough edges.
  4. Having aligned the seams, we find the centers of the parts and make notches there.
  5. We stuff the petals with padding polyester. We sew up the bottom of the parts, making a counter fold on the top.
  6. We sew together two rectangles together with the edging, turn them inside out, stuff them with padding polyester and stitch them along the second cut. Then we twist the resulting workpiece into a bud and fasten it at the bottom manually.
  7. We cut out 2 circles with a diameter of 32 cm from different fabrics. We fold them right sides and attach them to the padding polyester, leaving a hole for turning it inside out, after which we sew it up.
  8. To the resulting base, stepping back a little from the center, we attach large petals, making uniform folds.
  9. We put 4 smaller petals on top of them and, making folds, attach them to the base.
  10. We carefully sew the middle by hand.

Our rose is ready!

Volumetric heart made of roses

A handmade pillow can be a wonderful gift. Armed with imagination and a thread and a needle, you can even turn it into a unique Valentine’s card. We offer you a step-by-step master class on making an unusual pillow with a voluminous heart.

To work you will need:

  • ready-made pillow of the desired size;
  • fabric for roses, which does not require overcasting the cut;
  • scissors;
  • needle and thread.
Cut circles with a diameter of approximately 8 cm from the fabric; they may be slightly crooked and slightly different in size. This will only add volume and realism to the flowers.

Take a circle of fabric by the middle, gather it, forming folds as in the photo. Secure the workpiece in the desired position with a couple of stitches.

Sew another circle of fabric from the bottom, forming a voluminous bud.

Continue sewing circles onto the rose until you get the desired size flower.

Prepare the remaining roses using the same scheme. Their number depends on the size of the flower heart.

Sew the flowers to the pillow starting with the outline of the heart.

Place the pieces close to each other so that there are no gaps between them. A magnificent heart is ready to conquer and conquer hearts.

This designer pillow will decorate the room of a capricious fashionista or become the highlight of your living room. And she will lift your spirits just by looking at her.

Fluffy pillow

An original pillow with fringe will fit well into any interior. Pleasant to the touch fleece will make it a favorite thing not only in the children's room.

To work you will need:

  • fleece for the base of the pillow and fringe;
  • filler;
  • scissors;
  • threads;
  • pins;
  • sewing machine.
Cut two 40 x 40 cm squares from fleece.

It is better to choose a fabric for fringe several colors of the same range- you will get a stylish transition between them. In our case, we use 10 strips of 37*10 cm in three shades of brown.

Fold each strip in half and cut the fringe.

Sew the first strip to the base of the pillow, 1 cm from the edges. This is the result you should get.

Next, bend the fringe to one side.

Sew a second strip next to it at a distance of approximately 1.5 cm from the first.

Continue sewing the fringe in the same way. Alternate dark stripes with light ones through several rows, achieving a beautiful and smooth transition of colors.

Place a second square on top of the fringed piece and pin along the edges. Sew the pillow around the perimeter, leaving a small hole for stuffing.

Turn the pillow inside out and stuff it with filling. It is better to use padding polyester or holofiber. Natural materials, such as cotton wool and fluff, can clump over time and the product will lose its neat appearance.

Sew the opening with a blind stitch.

It turns out to be a very beautiful sofa cushion that will create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort in your home.

Pillow "Butterfly Wings"

We present to you a detailed photo lesson on decorating an interior pillow. Even if sewing is not your thing, you can easily master it: you will need a ready-made pillow for the job. Following step-by-step instructions, you will turn an ordinary pillowcase into a masterpiece of art design.

Pillow-toy “Owl”

A funny and bright owl is a win-win gift option for both adults and children. When such a cute bird settles in your baby’s bedroom, he will be happy not only to sleep with it, but also to play with it.

To work you will need:

  • cotton in two colors;
  • felt for eyes and beak;
  • black buttons or beads for the pupils;
  • ribbon for bow;
  • chalk;
  • threads;
  • needle and pins for sewing;
  • scissors;
  • lace;
  • filler.
Transfer the owl pattern to paper in the desired size.

Attach the pattern to the fabric and cut out the necessary parts; make an allowance of 1 centimeter for the body and wings.

To decorate the toy, lace, bows and a wooden flower button are used. If you are using a life-size pattern, then cut out a rectangle of 8*16 cm and a square with a side of 4.5 cm for the bow, or change the size of these parts in proportion to the owl.

Sew the beak and lace using a zigzag stitch. The lace is placed in the center of the body, between the wings.

Using the same seam, sew on the wings and eyes. Hand attach the black pupil buttons.

Fold the parts of the owl's body right sides inward, secure with pins and sew. Leave a hole at the bottom between the wings for further manipulation.

Turn the toy inside out, iron it and fill it with stuffing. If you used ordinary scissors to cut out the parts, before turning them inside out, make neat notches near the ears and in all convex places so that the fabric does not tighten.

Sew the hole closed with a blind stitch.

You can do some decorating. Fold the square for the bow into a strip and iron it.

Fold the rectangle in half with the right side facing inward and sew, leaving a 1 cm seam allowance.

Turn it inside out, gather it in the middle and sew on the prepared strip, forming a bow. Sew it to the owl's ear.

Tie a bow from a small piece of ribbon, sew it and a wooden button to the body of the toy.

Such a cute owl will reliably guard your sleep.

Another idea to implement is to sew a respectable eagle owl according to this pattern. It’s enough just to show your imagination and choose the appropriate color scheme and design for the toy.

Pillow with applique “Cat in Love”

An elegant pillow with a cool applique is a wonderful gift for any occasion. With its help, you can confess your feelings or simply cheer up your loved one.

To work you will need:

  • thick white pillowcase 35*35cm;
  • cotton shreds in 4 colors;
  • white interlining;
  • iron;
  • 3 green beads for eyes;
  • threads to match the fabric;
  • decorative braid.

Cut out two rectangles 17*13 cm- clouds around the cat and fish. In our case, they are white with orange polka dots. You can choose the color to suit your taste.

The cat's body is a rectangle 16*12 cm, orange with small white polka dots.

Cut a rectangle from white fabric 20*11 cm. From it you will get the eyes and thoughts of a cat.

Cut out a rectangle 10*5 cm made of green fabric for the body of the fish.

Fold the non-woven fabric with the adhesive side to the wrong side of the rectangles and iron them so that they stick together. This will make it easier to cut out small parts and they will not crumble.

Cut out the blanks for the applique. You can use cardboard templates or immediately cut out parts from fabric.

Arrange the elements on the pillowcase and achieve the desired image. Mark the ground line using decorative tape. Choose the expression of the cat's loving eyes.

When you have decided on the location of all the elements of the application, you can proceed to the last stage. All that remains is to sew them to the pillowcase.

Using a small white zigzag stitch, stitch the outline of the white cloud to the polka dot cloud.

Using a green zigzag, sew the outline of the fish to the prepared two-layer cloud. Embroider the fish's fins and the outline of the head. Attach an eye bead.

Sew the parts of the cat with a fine zigzag using threads to match the fabric. Lastly, attach the eyes and embroider his mustache.

Embroidered paws will add even more charm to the animal. You can complement the applique with small flowers to make the composition more expressive.

The finished pillow will definitely take the crown place on the sofa in the living room and will become the star of your interior.

Scops owl pillow “Sleeping kitten”

Want even more cats? We offer you an interesting idea for creativity: sew a charming kitten, which by its very appearance will evoke slumber and peace.

To work you will need:

  • cotton fabric 3 colors;
  • fleece;
  • interlining;
  • scissors;
  • iron;
  • filler;
  • chalk or special marker for fabric;
  • floss threads;
  • 2 buttons;
  • pins;
  • pattern.
First of all, print out the kitten pattern on paper or redraw it by hand. Cut out all the elements.

Place the body pattern on the fabric, trace and cut it out with a 1 cm allowance. Place the part with the wrong side on the adhesive side of the interlining, secure with pins and cut out. Prepare the second piece of the fleece body in the same way.

Cut out the kitten's paws, ears and tail.

Remove the pins and iron the two-layer body parts so that the cotton adheres to the interlining.

Fold the parts of the ears, legs and tail in pairs with the right sides inward and sew them on a machine, leaving holes for turning them inside out. Cut the stitched blanks with curly scissors or make regular notches.

Turn the parts inside out and iron them, stuff them with filler. Sew the holes with a zigzag. Use pins to attach the resulting pieces to the front side of the cat's front. Sew them to the kitten's body using a zigzag.

Draw the cat's face with chalk.

Place the fleece piece (back) on top and secure it with pins. Sew the pieces together, leaving a small hole at the bottom for turning inside out. Trim the seam allowances with curly scissors or make regular notches.

Turn the workpiece right side out and iron it. Fill the toy with filler and sew up the hole left earlier with a hidden seam.

Sew the upper legs and buttons for decoration to the body.

Embroider the nose and closed eyes with floss threads.

Decorate pillowcases with plant prints

An original way to decorate a pillowcase with a floral design is to transfer prints of living fresh grass and leaves onto it. A product with this design will be unique and one of a kind. It will also warm you up on winter evenings with thoughts of warm summer.

To work you will need:

  • natural light fabric;
  • freshly picked plants;
  • hammer;
  • scissors;
  • parchment, preferably siliconized for baking.

Fern, plantain, and clover are perfect for prints. Pick the plant you need, spread it on the fabric and cover with parchment. Beat it very hard with a hammer so that the juice comes out of the leaves, which is absorbed into the fabric and forms an imprint. Remember: Plants need to be picked on a hard, flat surface.

Experiment with different leaves, stems, and placement to get the look you want.

Before the holidays, the torment begins with choosing gifts. And I really want to surprise and amaze! What to do? I present to you a very easy way to surprise, delight and bring a good mood! Sew a rose pillow like this and delight is guaranteed!

How to sew a "Rose" pillow

Make a pattern template (photo with dimensions for a 56 cm pillow).

For one pillow you will need:
Satin crepe (2 different colors, 90 cm each).
Sintepon 3-3.5 m (I like “Alaska” better).
The braid is at least 2-2.5 cm wide, 15 meters (I use galloon).
Thick nylon threads and regular threads in the color of the fabric.
A needle for stitching, it is better to take a strong one with a large eye.

Lay out the fabric in two layers at once, right sides up (both wrong sides facing inward). We transfer the pattern of the petals. We need to translate 6 large petals and 5 small ones. Cut it out.

This is what we get.

We begin to sew the braid in the following order: visually divide the braid in half and sew it with a regular stitch to the side of the fabric, which will then be the lower part of the petal. Try not to stretch the braid, as it will give the effect of a wavy edge.

We turn the petal over and sew the braid using a zigzag stitch, carefully overlapping and covering the seam. 11 petal blanks for the bud are ready.

We start stuffing with padding polyester. We finely tear the synthetic polyester and put it into the blanks.
We sew the edge with a regular basting stitch.

We begin assembling circles (small petals with small ones, large ones with large ones). We apply the second petal to the middle of the first and stitch it with strong nylon threads with a basting stitch, so that later it can be easily pulled together, then the third to the middle of the second, and so on. We connect the end of the last petal with the beginning of the first. We tighten it so that the screed of the circles is uniform for both the large and small circles.

This way. The next step is to cut out the leaves (this time we fold the fabric as usual, with the right side inward, because then we will turn them inside out). The shape can be different, but the height is at least 30 cm, and the width is at least 16-17 cm. We put them on the padding polyester, cut them out and stitch them together with the padding polyester. Turn it inside out. Your leaves can be of different colors (both the color of the lower fabric, and green and gold, it all depends on your imagination).

Along the edges of the leaves we sew a zigzag stitch with the largest step, and with a medium step sew the veins inside the leaf. Sew to a large circle. We assemble all the parts manually using strong nylon thread using a basting stitch in not very large steps.
The most interesting moment of connecting the two circles has arrived. We sew with double nylon thread using a basting stitch, slightly higher (about 2-3 mm) than the gathering thread. Make sure that there is no visible connecting seam between the petals of the upper and lower circle. It is very important! The thread must be pulled very tightly!

We cut out a strip (the middle of the rose) together with padding polyester, but here we will have padding polyester inside two layers of fabric, because we will sheathe it in the same way as the petals. This is what the finished middle of the rose looks like.

We collect our workpiece into a so-called bundle. And we sew it with a basting stitch to the upper parts of the petals of the small circle (grabbing 1-1.5 cm above the assembly points).

We cut out a circle in order to cover the back part along with the padding polyester, and tighten it a little in a circle. We stuff it with padding polyester. We sew with a basting stitch to the petals of the large circle just above the place of the tie by about 2 cm. This way we achieve the strength of attaching the petals to each other.

Well, our beauty is ready! Well, isn't it beauty?

Pillows in the shape of flowers give the room a special charm. They look impressive on the sofa and armchair. Sleeping on these, however, is not very comfortable, but such products are not intended for sleeping, they have a purely decorative function. You will learn how to sew a rose pillow from our article.

What can be made from old things?

So, DIY flower pillow - the master class begins. If you are taking up needlework for the first time, it is better not to rush to the store for expensive, eye-catching fabric, but to look at what you have in your closet. Many women, who are not inclined to limit themselves in clothing, sometimes have a closet full of things that they don’t want to wear, but it’s a pity to throw away. It is quite possible that there will be:

  • an old but strong silk or chiffon dress;
  • a disused faux velvet skirt;
  • A beautiful but uncomfortable synthetic blouse.

Now is the time to give them a second life by turning them into something spectacular for your home.

Preparing the fabric

In order for an item to be used in a new capacity, it must be processed:

  1. Carefully cut off all buttons, snaps and hooks.
  2. Remove the threads.
  3. Spread the product along the seams, not forgetting about darts, cuffs, collar and other small details.
  4. What you are guaranteed to never need is better to throw away immediately.
  5. Wash the pieces of fabric thoroughly and iron them if necessary.
  6. If there are damaged areas, remove them.

Important! Regardless of whether you buy new fabric or decide to use old clothes, the material must meet certain requirements:

  • it should be thin, but dense and not very crumbling;
  • It is better to take a plain fabric or with a small pattern, otherwise the shape will be difficult to see.

In this case, the ability to change sizes after washing does not play a big role, although it is useful to wash or iron new cotton or linen through a damp cloth before work.

What else do you want?

To make your own flower pillow spectacular and of high quality, you will need a few more things:

  • sewing machine;
  • needles suitable for this fabric;
  • sewing threads of appropriate quality;
  • contrasting color threads for basting;
  • needle for hand sewing;
  • padding polyester or thin foam rubber;
  • braid - matching or contrasting;
  • cardboard for template;
  • ruler;
  • compass;
  • ball pen.

Braid

The braid can be of two types - thin for processing the edges of the petals and wide for trimming the middle. You can do something else with the petals - for example, trim them with narrow lace. As for the quantity, you will need about 15 m.

Sintepon and threads

You need about 3 m of padding polyester. You can, of course, stuff the petals with thin sheet foam rubber, but this option is worse - over time, this material begins to release substances that are not very beneficial to health. Sintepon is absolutely neutral, so your DIY rose pillow will serve you until the fabric falls apart.

Important! Parts stuffed with this material can be arranged in assemblies, and this is very important for this particular product.

It is better to select threads for a specific fabric. It is more convenient to sew cotton or linen with cotton, everything else with synthetic ones.

Important! If you need to connect several parts from different materials, synthetic threads (not nylon) are preferable.

Pillow options

A DIY rose pillow is made from several petals. Their number depends on the size of the product:

  • A small pillow (for example, for a doll's corner or a crib) consists of 5-6 petals laid out in one layer.
  • A sofa product consists of 8 or even 12 identical elements.

Important! In both cases, they are attached to the middle - a two-layer circle.

DIY rose pillow pattern

Any sewing begins with cutting. A decorative pillow in this sense is no exception. There are only two cutting options:

  • all petals are identical in shape and size;
  • the pillow consists of two layers, and the upper petals are smaller than the lower ones.

In the first case, you will need one template, in the second - two, but they differ only in size. By the way, the same principle is used to sew a do-it-yourself daisy pillow, a poppy, or any other flower - they will differ only in the shape of the petals.

Important! You can make petals of different shapes, but it is important that one side, which is sewn to the middle, is straight.

Making a template

You can, of course, find a rose petal pattern on the Internet or in a handicraft book, enlarge it to the desired size and cut it out. But there is nothing difficult about drawing it with your own hands:

  1. Place a sheet of cardboard, approximately A4 size, on the table with the short side facing you.
  2. Set aside 3 cm from the upper right corner.
  3. Find the middle of the top short side and mark it with a dot.
  4. Set aside 8 cm from the upper left corner and make another mark.
  5. Connect these three points with an arc.
  6. From the lower right corner, set aside 1 cm upward.
  7. Connect this point to the lower left corner with a smooth line.
  8. Connect the same point to the beginning of the upper arc, that is, to the point that is located on the long left side at a distance of 8 cm from the corner.
  9. Cut out the template along the outline.

Important! For a smaller petal, first cut a rectangle, for example, reducing a standard sheet by ⅓ vertically and horizontally. It's okay if the petals are slightly different in shape.

Center template

It's even easier than cutting a petal. You only need to cut out a circle:

  • If you made the petals from an A4 sheet, a circle with a diameter of 10-15 cm is suitable for the middle if you are sewing a rose.
  • Chamomile will have a larger center.

There are no strict ratios here; the main thing is to maintain approximate dimensions.

Uncover

DIY decorative rose pillow - the master class continues. And it's time to cut the petals. For a small pillow, all parts of which will be sewn from the same fabric, the procedure will be as follows:

  1. If the piece is large, fold it in half with the wrong side facing out.
  2. Place the two pieces with right sides facing each other.
  3. Trace the template strictly along the outline.
  4. Cut out the parts, making allowances of 1-1.5 cm along all cuts.
  5. Cut out padding from padding polyester - from 2 to 6 for each petal, no allowances are needed.

Important! Cut out the middle from the same fabric using a round template, not forgetting about the allowances. There can be more layers of padding polyester to make this part look more voluminous.

Pillow with two layers of petals

In this case, you need to cut out 4 large petals and 4 smaller ones - 8 parts in total. In all other respects, the cutting order is exactly the same as for the first option. The smaller the pillow, the thinner the petals will be. The lower ones can be made more voluminous; for the upper ones, 2-4 layers of padding are enough.

Important! If you use foam rubber, only one layer is placed in all petals and in the middle.

How to make a rose pillow if all the parts are already there?

Now the time has come to design each element in order to then put them all together.

Middle

Let's start, perhaps, from the middle:

  1. Cut a piece of wide braid about 3 times the circumference.
  2. Sew along the long edge with a basting stitch and make gathers so that the length matches the edge of the workpiece.
  3. Iron the allowances of both parts to the wrong side, if necessary, make cuts so that the fabric does not puff up.
  4. To the part that will be on top, baste the braid along the wrong side.
  5. Fold the parts with the wrong sides facing each other, placing the padding polyester between them so that it is under the allowances.
  6. Baste the design at a distance of 1.5 cm from the edge so that you can insert the petals between the layers.

Petals

Each petal is processed almost the same as the middle, but there are differences:

  1. Place the petal pieces right sides together, aligning all the cuts.
  2. Baste them along the rounded edge and stitch them together.
  3. In several places, cut the seam allowance close to the seam.
  4. Turn the workpiece inside out.
  5. Press the seam allowances along the open edge inward.
  6. Insert padding polyester.
  7. Sew a basting stitch along the open edge.

Important! If you decide to trim the edges with braid or lace, the trim should be placed between the layers so that it protrudes from the front side in an even line.

Assembly

Before sewing the flower pillow into a single piece, lightly pull the basting together. Then proceed like this:

  1. Bring the open edge of the petal between the layers of the center.
  2. Place the remaining petals in the same way, tightening the basting if necessary and arranging beautiful gatherings.
  3. Sew the entire structure along the edge of the center using a zigzag or decorative stitch.

A pillow in the shape of a delicate rose, which we will make with our own hands in a step-by-step selection with patterns and informative photos, at first glance may seem quite difficult. However, detailed videos will help you better navigate the sewing process, and the master class will completely dispel any uncertainty! Get to work!

How to sew a rose pillow with your own hands with patterns and photos: rose garden

There are several dozen, if not hundreds of species of roses in nature. Of course, a pillow in the shape of a rose cannot be classified as a type of vegetation, but even here the commendable variety pleases the eye.

In addition to being quite beautiful, such a pillow is also practical - after all, you will need old T-shirts to make it. They are cut into strips, which are then twisted into roses, each of which is then fixed and sewn to the base. In addition to T-shirts, old bed linen can be a suitable material - it is both soft and colorful. Quite painstaking work, but the result looks tempting.

The second version of the rose pillow is using an existing pillowcase and felt. The felt is cut into circles, each of which is then cut into a spiral, and twisted clockwise from the tip to the middle into a rose. Then the flowers are also sewn onto the pillowcase. Of course, this is not the fastest sewing option, but such a pillow looks quite elegant, and again, leftovers and multi-colored pieces of felt can be used.

For such a pillow you will also need a base and felt, as well as petal templates. Having cut out all the details, they are sewn onto the base, giving the product volume. It is convenient to work with felt - it is easy to cut, pierce with a needle, and its edges do not require additional processing, since they do not crumble.

Another option is perhaps the simplest to implement - it will require fabric 2-3 meters long and one and a half meters wide. Thin padding polyester is suitable as a filler. It needs to be placed between layers of fabric folded in half, and all three layers should be stitched together. Then twist this strip in a spiral from the tip to the middle and secure it.

Materials.

The fabric you will use directly depends on the “type” of rose that you like. By and large, there are no restrictions, there are recommendations. If you are going to make a rose, each petal of which is itself a small pillow, you should not take a transparent fabric like chiffon, since the rose petals will contain filler - holofiber or padding polyester. The second piece of advice is that if you are not a very experienced seamstress, then it is better not to use difficult-to-process materials like satin, organza and silk. Despite the fact that they are very beautiful, working with them is not as easy as we would like. Mixed fabrics, crepe-satin, denim are the most optimal fabrics for such a product. Old cotton T-shirts can serve as training material if your sewing skills are limited or you are afraid of ruining good material.

To work you will need:

  • Fabric in two colors per meter
  • Filling – holofiber or padding polyester
  • Finishing braid (braid or bias tape)
  • Scissors, chalk, pins
  • Petal patterns
  • Sewing machine

You don’t need any patterns for sewing such a pillow, but a template for the petals and details will certainly come in handy.

Work process. First stage. Each petal is cut out in duplicate from different fabrics. Place the fabrics with right sides facing each other and trace according to the template. For a rose pillow you need 8 upper petals and 8 lower ones, 4 from each fabric. You will also need two strips of fabric 7 cm wide and 1 m long for the core.

Second phase. Fold each petal blank from layers of fabric. A braid is attached along the edge of the front side of the upper and lower petals of a smaller size.

After this, the petals with edging are carefully adjusted to their second halves. Turn the petals inside out, align and cut off excess threads. Bend each petal twice in height, and mark the middle - with a pencil or by making a cut.

Third stage. Stuff the finished parts with holofiber, the edge is sewn together with a simple stitch on a machine. Cut out a strip 7 cm wide per meter, stitch with edging, fill with holofiber and stitch. Don’t stuff the filler too tightly, it’s better to be looser, otherwise you won’t be able to roll the strip into a beautiful rosette. Roll this strip into a roll and secure with a hand stitch.

Fourth stage. Base. Cut out two circles with a diameter of about 30 cm. Connect them with their right sides facing each other, place them on padding polyester, and sew without closing the seam. Turn it right side out through the remaining hole and sew it up.

Mark the center on this circle, and secure the two lower petals at an equal distance from each other. Gather them into neat folds, secure with safety pins or stitches and sew on a machine.

Also attach two more petals and stitch. The upper petals are sewn in the same way, but in a checkerboard pattern relative to the bottom row. A rolled strip is sewn into the center. The pillow is ready.
